2.1 General
TheMachineis acompactsemi-automatic machineforthepreparationand
vendingof hotdrinks. Yoursupplier canadjustthetasteandsizesof thedrinks.
2.2 The frontofthemachine
Themachinecanbeoperatedusingtheoperatingpanelonthedoor. Bypushing
oneof theselectionbuttons onthescreen, aproductchoicecanbemade.
Beforeyoumakeachoice,acupmustfirstbeplacedunder thetap.

3Beforeusage
1.1. Installation
Installation, transportationandadjustment of themachineis specializedwork.
Onlyproperlytrainedservicepersonnelshouldcarrythis out.
For instructions about transportation, unpackingandinstallationof themachine,
seethetechnicalmanual.
1.2. Operationsite
Thesemachines may onlybeusedindoors,inahygienic dryroom,witha
temperaturebetween5and40 degreesCelsius.
Placethemachineonaflat, stablesurface.
1.3. Puttingthemachineout oforder
Ifthemachinewillnotbeusedforalongperiodof time(forexampleduringthe
weekend,)itis recommendedto turnoffthewater supplyandtheelectricity
(pullingtheplugfromthesocketis sufficient).This willprevent unnecessaryuse
ofenergy.

4Operation
4.1 Operatiingthemachine infree vendmode
1. Placeacupundertheoutletonthecupstand.
Allconsumptions are dosedinthecenterof thecupstandexcept thehot
chilledwater.
2. Selectyourdesireddrink.
3. Followtheinstructions on thescreen.
4. Afterpressingthestartbutton, themachineprepares yourdrinkand
dispenses itinto thecup.
5. Yourdrinkis readyafter thebeepandthemessage‘ready’ isonthe
screen.
4.2 Operatingthemachineinpaymode
Inpaymode,firstinserttherequiredmoneyandcontinuewith step1of thefree
vendoperation.
4.3 Jug dispensing
1. Removethecupstandandplaceajug under theoutlet.
2. Pressthejug button.
3. Selectthedrinkandjugsize.
4. Pressthestartbutton.
5. Themachinedispensestheselecteddrinkinto thejug.
6. Yourdrinkis readyafter thebeepandthemessage‘ready’ isonthe
screen.

5Maintenanceandfilling
5.1 Dailymaintenance
Failingto performthedailymaintenancenegativelyaffectsthequalityof the
productsandcanleadto malfunctioningof themachine.
1. Openthedoorof themachine.
2. Install thesafetykey(seeparagraph: installsafetykey)
Flushmixers and brewer
3. Placeajug underneath thenozzleto
collectthehotwater.
4. Presstherinsedailybuttononthe
screen.Hotwaterfromtheboiler flows
throughtheCoEx-brewerandmixers.
5. Repeatstep4untilcleanwatercomes
out ofthemachine.
Empty wastebucket anddriptray
6. Removethedriptray, thecupstand,
andthegrid.
7. Removethedriptray under the
brewer.
8. Rinsethedriptrays, cupstand, and
gridinwarmwater.
9. Removethewastebucket.
10. Emptythebucketandrinseitinwarmwater.
Check iftherearestill enough ingredientsinthecanisters.If
necessaryfillupthecanisters, followinginstructions inparagraph“Fill up
canisters”.
Cleantheoutside of the machine
11. Cleantheoutsideof themachinewith asoftdamp cloth.
12. Install thedriptrays, gridandcupstand.
13. Close thedoor ofthemachine, andleavetheservicemode.

5.2 Weeklymaintenance
Failingto performtheweeklymaintenancenegativelyaffectsthequalityof the

1. Openthedoorof themachine.
Cleanthemixingsystem
2. Removethemixingsystemaccordingto paragraph“Disassembling the
mixing bowl”.
3. Rinseout allloosepartsof themixingsysteminwarmwater.
4. Cleanthepartsofthemixingsystemthatremaininthemachinewith a
wetbrush.
5. Mount themixingsystemaccordingto paragraph“Assembling themixing
bowl”.Makesurethatthepartsaredrybeforeyoumount them.
Check iftherearestill enough ingredientsinthecanisters.If
necessaryfillupthecanisters, followinginstructions inparagraph“Fill up
canisters”.
Cleanbrewer
6. Placeajug underneath thenozzleto collect
thehotwater.
7. Install thesafetykey.
8. Pressthe“Weeklycleaningcyclebrewer”
buttononthescreen.
9. Followtheinstructions inthescreen:
a. Placetabletinbrewer
b. Close dooror placeservicekey
c. Place1liter jug under outlet
d. Becareful:hotwaterflowsout
e. Pressbuttontorun cleaningcycle

5.3 Monthlymaintenance
Failingto performthemonthlymaintenanceworknegativelyaffects thequalityof
theproducts andcanleadto malfunctioningof themachine.
Apartfromtheweeklymaintenance, thefollowingtasks haveto beperformed
monthlyto ensurethemachineoperates correctlyandoptimalqualityof the
beverages.
Cleaningthecanisterwithwater
1. Removethecanisterfromthemachine.
2. Removethelidfromthecanister.
3. Emptythecanister.
4. Rinseout thecanisterwithwarmwateruntilall
productresidues areremoved.
5. Drythecanisterverythoroughlyontheinsideand
outside.
Ifyoufillthecanister whileitis notcompletelydry, theproductmayform
lumps, whichmakesthesystemnotusableanymore.
6. Fillthecanister andplaceitbackinthemachineaccordingto the
procedureinparagraph“Fill upcanisters”.
CleaningtheCoExbrewerwithwater
1. RemovetheCoExBrewerfromthemachineaccordingto theprocedurein
paragraph“Removethebrewer”.
2. Rinsethebrewerwith warmwater.
3. PlacetheCoExbackaccordingto theprocedure inparagraph“Install the
brewer”.

5.4 Placesafety key
Insertthesafetykeyandturnaquarter turnclockwise:
Themachineis nowpoweredup.Parts inthemachinecanmoveautomatically
andhotwatercanflowout. Becareful!

5.5 CleaningcycleforCoEx brewer
Run thecleaningcyclefortheCoExbrewerweeklyusingtheCoExcleaningtablet.
1. Openthedoorof themachine.
2. Pressthe weeklycleaning cycle buttonandfollowtheinstructions onthe
screen:
a. Placecleaningtabletinbrewer.
b. Placeservicekey.
c. Placeajug under thebreweroutlet.
d. Press buttonto start.
3. Thecleaningcycleis startedandtakes ±5
minutes. Waittillthecycleis finished.
4. Close thedoor andrun atestconsumptionto test
themachine.
Not cleaningthebrewercancausethe
machinetomalfunction!
Note:
Failure tocleanthebrewerweeklywith thecleaning
tabletdeliveredbythemanufacturerwillvoidthe
warrantyonrelatedparts.

5.6 Fillup canisters
Do notfillupthecanisters furtherthannecessaryforone
or two days.This willkeeptheproducts fresh.Makesure
thatthecanistersremainfilledwithalayer of atleast4-
cmof product.Onlyuseproducts thatarerecommended
bythesupplier ofthemachine.
Fillingthecanisters mustbedoneoutsidethemachine. To
facilitatetakingout thecanisters,thetopsideofthe
machinecanbeflippedup(afteropeningthedoor).
Performthefollowingproceduretofillacanister:
1. Turnthenozzleof thecanisters upwards.
2. Slightlyliftupthecanisteratthefront, untilthe
positioningridgecomesout ofthehole.
3. Pullthecanister towards thefront andtakeitout of the
machine.
4. Fillthecanister with theproductindicatedonthe
canister.
Placethelidbackonthecanister.

5. Placethecanisterbackinthemachine. Makesurethe
driveatthebackofthecanister fits well onthemotor
drive.
6. Pushthecanister atthefront over thepositioningridge.
7. Turnthenozzleofthecanisterdownwards.
Checkthepositionof thenozzleof thecanister.Itmustbe
positionedcorrectlyabovethebrewerormixingbowl.

Fillup beancanister(ifapplicable)
1. Press greenlockingknobto unlockthecanisterdoor.
2. Pullthegreenlockinghandletowardsyoutounlockthe
canister.
3. Pullthecanister upwards.
4. Fillthecanister with freshcoffeebeans.

5.7 Removalofthebrewer
Removalof thebreweris necessaryforperformingmaintenance. Onlyproperly
trainedpersonnelmay workonthebreweritself. Instructions forperformingwork
onthebreweraredescribedinthetechnicalmanual.
Carryout thefollowingprocedureforremovalof thebrewer:
1. Openthedoorof themachine.
2. Removetheoutletpipefromthebrewer.
3. Pushthegreenhandleupwards andpull thebrewer
out off themachineatthesametime.
4. Ready.

5.8 Install thebrewer
Carryout thefollowingproceduretoreplacethe
brewer:
1. Placethebrewerinthebracket.
2. Pushthebrewerfirmlyinthemachinetillyou
hear“click” andthegreenhandleis turned
downwards inits homeposition.
Makesurethatthegreenhandleisinthe
downposition.Whenthe brewerisn’t
installedcorrectly,thebrewercanjump
out ofthefitting during a cycle.
3. Placethetubes.
4. Checkthefunctionof thebrewerbymakingatestdrink. Placeacupunder
theoutlet.

5.9 Assembling and disassembling themixer
Disassemblingthemixing system:
1. Removeoutletpipes fromthemixers.
2. Turnthebayonetcatchcounterclockwise(approx.
10º).
3. Removethemixer house.
4. Pull themixer partstowards you.

6. Turnthebaseplatecounterclockwiseandpull it
towards you.
