1. INTRODUCTION
Designed uniquely for rack-mount required sound reinforcement scenarios, Asystems DMP81 automatic mixer combines
intuitive operation interface with state-of-art signal processing technology� Asystems DMP81 features 8 Mic/Line inputs
via balanced Euroblock and 8 unbalanced 1/4” TRS insert jacks� All 8 Euroblock input connectors provide individual
selectable +48V phantom power for condenser microphones and All 8 1/4” TRS insert jacks can directly route incoming
signal to other sound processing devices or be used as individual inputs or outputs� All channels are equipped with
physical Low-pass lter and High Frequency Shelving Filter knobs.
The on-board adaptive threshold distinguishes uctuating audio signal from background noise and continuously adjust
the audio signal to be louder than background noise� Furthermore, when several channels “receive” one particular signal
source, DMP81 can be set to controls the number of channels that activate when triggered by one signal source through
which the best input quality is guaranteed for every input channel� The last input source lock-on feature keeps the most
recently used channel activate to get a natural uninterrupted signal ow.
Asystems DMP81 also provides a 1/4” headphone output jack, an AUX input jack (both are with level control knob), and
LED indicators, o󰀨ering intuitive control that caters a wide-range of system setups�

1. Input Level Control 1 - 8
Every input channel is equipped with a rotary knob for
adjusting the nal input level.

Every input channel is equipped with an ON LED
which lights green when a signal is present in the input
channel, and will turn red when the signal peaks�

DIP SWITCH
DMP81 is equipped with two DIP switches on the rear panel, which is o󰀨ering various setup options and for turning ON/OFF
the phantom power for each channel�
DIP Switch 1 (for adjusting setup options)
DIP Switch 2 (for turning phantom power ON/OFF)
This DIP switch is used for turning ON/OFF the +48V phantom power for each channel� The number labeled under each
switch is corresponding to the channel numbers�
Manual/Auto: In Manual mode, DMP81 works as a
standard 8x1 mixer� In Auto Mode, the input drops by
3 dB every time the number activated inputs doubles�
When in MANUAL mode, the master output drops by 9
dB when all 8 channels are activated� And it will increase
by 9 dB when in AUTOMATIC mode�
Last Mic Lock-On: And only the most recently activated
channel will be enabled until the another channel is
enabled. When this function is turned o󰀨, channel
disables after the preset hold time�

Hold Time: Adjusts the time an activated channel (which
is not locked on) remains on after the talker stops talking�
Settings are 0�4 seconds or 1�0 second�
O󰀨-Attenuation: Adjusts the o󰀨-attenuation level from
15 dB to innity (-∞). With the 15 dB setting, an unused
microphone is 15 dB lower in level than when it is
activated. With the -∞ setting, an unused microphone is
completely o󰀨.
Limiter Threshold: Adjusts the limiter threshold for
outputs� Settings are OFF, +16 dBm, +8 dBm, or +4 dBm�

RACK MOUNTING
DMP81 is compatible with 19” audio equipment rack� Slide
the DMP81 in to the rack and secure it with four Phillips
screws and appropriate nuts (preferably square nuts)�

1.INTRODUCCION
Diseñado exclusivamente para situaciones que requieren fortalecer el sonido, el DMP81 de Asystems es un mezclador
automático, que combina la intuición del profesional del audio; con la alta tecnología del procesamiento de señal.
El mezclador automático DMP81 de Asystems cuenta con 8 entradas de mic/línea a través de tomas Euro-Block
balanceadas y 8 tomas de inserción TRS no-balanceadas de 6.35mm (1/4”). Los 8 conectores de entrada Euro-Block
proveen alimentación phantom de 48V seleccionables individualmente para micrófonos de condensador; las 8 tomas
TRS de 6�35mm (1/4”), estas tomas pueden directamente enviar la señal entrante a otros dispositivos de procesamiento
de sonido; o ser utilizadas como entradas o salidas individuales� Todos los canales están equipados con perillas que
controlan un ltro tipo estantería para frecuencia bajas y altas.
El umbral adaptativo integrado distingue señal de audio uctuante y del ruido de fondo y ese se ajusta continuamente
a su señal de audio; para que la señal siempre sea más fuerte que el ruido de fondo� Además, cuando varios canales
“reciben” una fuente de señal en particular, también se puede ajustar los controles de DMP81 para que los canales se
activen cuando una fuente de señal precisa haya sido detectada; lo que garantiza la mejor calidad de entrada para cada
canal. La última característica de localización de la fuente de entrada, mantiene el último canal utilizado para conseguir
un ujo de señal ininterrumpido.
El DMP81 de Asystems DMP81 también proporciona un puerto para auriculares de 6.35mm (1/4”), un conector de
entrada AUX (ambos pueden ser ajustados con la perilla de control de nivel), e indicadores LED; esto ofrece un control
intuitivo que abastece una amplia gama de conguraciones del sistema.

Cada canal de entrada está equipado con un mando
giratorio para ajustar el nivel de entrada nal.

Cada canal de entrada está equipado con un LED
que se ilumina de color verde cuando hay una señal

Interruptor DIP
El DMP81 está equipado con dos interruptores DIP en el panel trasero, que ofrecen diversas opciones de conguración;
pueden (activar e desactivar) la alimentación Phantom en ON / OFF para cada canal.
Interruptor DIP 1 (para el ajuste de las opciones de conguración)
Interruptor DIP 2 (para conectar la alimentación phantom en ON / OFF)
Este interruptor DIP se utiliza para poner en ON / OFF la alimentación phantom de + 48V para cada canal. El canal
seleccionado para esta función esta decidida según el numero marcado en los interruptores DIP.
Manual/Automático: En el modo Manual, el DMP81
funciona como un mezclador 8x1 estándar� En el modo
automático, la entrada se reduce de 3 dB; cada vez que
se haya doblado el número activado� Cuando está en
modo MANUAL, la salida principal se reduce de 9 dB
cuando se activan los 8 canales� Y se incrementará en 9
dB en el modo AUTOMÁTICO.
Función (Mic Lock-On): Esta función activará el canal
más recientemente activado; hasta que otro canal
este activado. Cuando esta función está desactivada,
el canal se desactiva después del tiempo de espera
preestablecido�

micrófono se encuentra ajustado ha -∞, este se apagara
completamente cuando no utilizado�
Umbral limitador (Limiter Threshold): Ajusta el umbral
del limitador para las salidas� Los ajustes son OFF, +16
dBm, +8 dBm o +4 dBm�

MONTAJE EN RACK
El DMP81 es compatible con instalaciones rack de 19 “
para aparatos profesionales de audio� Deslice el DMP81
en el estante de rack y asegure la instalación con cuatro
tornillos Phillips�

necesarios. La entrada puede lograrse a través de
