Clean only with a dry cloth.
Condensation can form on the inside of an amplifier if it is moved from a cold environment to a
warmer location. Before switching the unit on, it is recommended that the unit be allowed to reach
room temperature.
Unauthorised modification of this e uipment is expressly forbidden by Ace Amplification.
Never push objects of any kind into ventilation slots on the e uipment casing.
Do not expose this apparatus to rain, li uids or moisture of any type.

Do not place this product on an unstable trolley, stand or table. The product may fall, causing
serious damage to the product or to persons !
Do not cover or block ventilation slots or openings.
This product should not be placed near a source of heat such as a stove, radiator, or another heat
producing amplifier.
Use only the supplied power cord which is compatible with the mains voltage supply in your area.
Power supply cords should always be handled carefully and should be replaced if damaged in any
way.
Never break off the earth (ground) pin on the power supply cord nor disconnect the protective
mains earth connection.
The power supply cord should be unplugged when the unit is to be unused for long periods of time.
Before the unit is switched on, the loudspeaker should be connected as described in the handbook
using the lead recommended by the manufacturer.
High loudspeaker levels can cause permanent hearing damage. You should therefore avoid the
direct vicinity of loudspeakers operating at high levels. Wear hearing protection if continuously
exposed to high levels.
If the product does not operate normally, when the operating instructions are followed, then refer
the product to a ualified service engineer.
All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately
from the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities
appointed by the government or the local authorities.

Start well
Connect a speaker to the amp, connect the amp to the mains, plug your guitar, turn it on.
While it warm-up, set all knobs on 12 o’clock, except Clean’s Gain at 9 o’clock, and Master volume
at the minimum.
Then, adjust general volume with Master knob, which control both channels.
PLAY and enjoy 20W of pure rock.

Front Panel
1. Guitar Input
Plug your guitar in here. Always use a good uality screened guitar lead.
2. Gain (Clean channel)
The Gain control adjusts the amount of the Clean Channel’s overdrive.
Low settings, counter clockwise (CCW), will deliver a bright clean sound. As the Gain control is
increased clockwise (CW) the sound will become more thick.
From 12 o’clock, according to the guitar, the sound will become more overdriven moving through a
big crunch at the end of the control race.
3. Channel Select Switch
Press this switch to select the Overdrive Channel.
Switch to the left : Clean Channel.
Switch to the right : Overdrive Channel.
4. Gain (Overdrive Channel)
The Gain control adjusts the amount of the Overdrive Channel’s overdrive or distortion.
Low settings, counter clockwise (CCW), will deliver a clean sound.
As the Gain control is increased clockwise (CW) the sound will become more overdriven moving
through crunch tones until, at its maximum position, a full distorted lead tone is arrived at.
5. Bass (Overdrive Channel)
This control affects the low end fre uencies of the Overdrive Channel. Turning it clockwise
increases the amount of bass present.
6. Middle (Overdrive Channel)
This control affects the mid range fre uencies of the Overdrive Channel. Turning it clockwise
increases the amount of mid present.

7. reble (Overdrive Channel)
This control affects the hig-end fre uencies of the Overdrive Channel . Turning it clockwise
increases the amount of treble present.
8. Volume (Overdrive Channel)
This controls the volume of the Overdrive Channel. Turning it clockwise increases the volume.
Use this control to adjust the volume level of the Overdrive Channel relative to that of the Clean
Channel.
This control more or less clips the effects loop’s valve. In the first half of this control race, Overdrive
channel’s sound is darker (Perfect for high gain, bright guitars or pickups) ; and in the second half,
sound become more crispy and biting (Perfect for light crunch and crunch).
9. Master Volume
This controls the general volume of the amplifier (Both Channels). Turning it clockwise increases
the volume.
10. Power
This switch is used to turn the amplifier on and off. It will also light when the amplifier is switched
on.
Caution : Due to the design of the amp, including Overdirve Channel’s volume behavior, pushing
the Treble AND the Overdrive Channel’s volume at their maximum position, can occurs crushed
and wavering sound, which can cause a whistling sound.
This is not a fault in itself, it’s just that amplifier produces a lot of gain and can be sensitive in this
configuration. You just have to reduce a little the Treble setting OR Overdrive’s volume and
everything is ok !

Rear Panel
1. Main Input
The supplied detachable mains lead is connected here. The lead should only be connected to a
power outlet that is compatible with the voltage, power and fre uency re uirements stated on the
rear panel. If in doubt get advice from a ualified technician.
2. Footswitch
The footswitch, not supplied, is connected here. The footswitch enables you to switch between the
Clean and Overdrive channels.
3. Effects loop - Return
Connect the (mono) output of an external effects unit here.
4. Effects loop - Send
Connect the (mono) input of an external effects unit here.
5. Speaker Output 16Ω
This output is for the connection of a single 16 Ohm external speaker cabinet.
WARNING : The output marked 16 Ohm should never be used at the same time as the output
marked 8 Ohm.
6. Speaker Output 8Ω
This output is for the connection of a single 8 Ohm external speaker cabinet.
WARNING : The output marked 8 Ohm should never be used at the same time as the output
marked 16 Ohm.

Consignes de sécurité importantes !
Respectez tous les avertissements et toutes les consignes figurant sur le produit !
Danger ! Hautes tensions internes.
N’ouvrez pas le boîtier de l’appareil. Cet appareil ne possède aucune pièce sur la uelle l’utilisateur
puisse intervenir. Confiez toutes les réparations à un réparateur ualifié.
Nettoyez l’appareil avec un chiffon sec uni uement.
Il est possible ue de la condensation se forme à l’intérieur d’un amplificateur s’il est transféré d’un
environnement froid à un endroit plus chaud. Il est conseillé d’attendre ue l’appareil ait atteint la
température ambiante avant de l’allumer.
La modification non autorisée de cet appareil est expressément interdite par Ace Amplification.
N’introduisez jamais d’objets dans les fentes de ventilation du boîtier de l’appareil.
N’exposez pas cet appareil à la pluie, à des li uides ni à aucune forme d’humidité.
Respectez tous les avertissements et toutes les consignes figurant sur le produit !
Ne placez pas ce produit sur un chariot, un guéridon ou une table instable. Il pourrait tomber et ce
faisant sérieusement s’endommager ou causer des blessures !
Ne couvrez pas les fentes de ventilation ni les ouvertures et ne les obstruez pas non plus.
Évitez de placer ce produit près d’une source de chaleur telle u’un poêle, un radiateur ou un autre
amplificateur produisant de la chaleur.
Utilisez uni uement le cordon d’alimentation fourni car il est compatible avec la tension de
l’alimentation générale de votre secteur.
Manipulez toujours les cordons d’alimentation avec le plus grand soin. Remplacez-les s’ils sont
endommagés.
Ne détachez jamais la prise de terre du cordon d’alimentation ou la connexion à la terre de
l’é uipement.
Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation en cas d’inutilisation prolongée de l’appareil.
Avant d’allumer l’appareil, branchez l’enceinte de la manière décrite dans la notice d’emploi à
l’aide du cordon recommandé par le fabricant.
À des niveaux élevés, le volume des enceintes peut causer des pertes auditives définitives. Par
consé uent, évitez de rester à proximité des enceintes lors ue le volume est élevé. Portez des
protecteurs d’oreilles en cas d’exposition continue à des niveaux sonores élevés.
Si le produit ne fonctionne pas normalement alors ue vous respectez la notice d’emploi, confiez-le
à un réparateur ualifié.
Les éléments électri ues et électroni ues doivent
être jetés séparément dans les vide-ordures prévus
à cet effet par votre municipalité..

Bien démarrer
Branchez une enceinte à l’ampli, raccordez l’ampli au secteur, branchez votre guitare, allumez-le.
Le temps u’il chauffe, réglez tous les potards sur midi, sauf le gain du clean à 9h, et le master
volume au minimum.
Ensuite vous ajustez le volume général de l'ampli avec le master, ui contrôle les deux canaux.
JOUEZ et profitez de 20W de pur rock.

Panneau avant
1. Entrée guitare
Branchez votre instrument ici. Utilisez toujours un câble de guitare blindé de ualité.
2. Gain (Canal Clean)
Le contrôle du gain ajuste la uantité d’overdrive du Canal Clean.
Un réglage faible délivrera un son clair brillant. En augmentant le contrôle du gain en sens horaire,
le son s’épaissit.
A partir de midi, selon la guitare utilisée, le son commence doucement à se tordre pour atteindre
un gros crunch en fin de course.
3. Switch Channel
Actionnez ce switch pour changer de canal.
Switch vers la gauche : Canal Clean.
Switch vers la droite : Canal Drive.
4. Gain (Canal Drive)
Le Bouton Gain vous permet d’ajuster le niveau d’overdrive ou de distorsion du canal Drive.
Réglé complètement à gauche, vous obtiendrez un son clean. Lors ue vous tournerez le bouton
dans le sens horaire le son deviendra rapidement crunchy puis de plus en plus distordu au fur et à
mesure de la course du potard.
5. Bass - Graves (Canal Drive)
Cette commande affecte les basses fré uences du canal Drive. En sens horaire, la uantité de
graves augmente.
6. Middle - Médiums (Canal Drive)
Cette commande affecte les fré uences médiums du canal Drive. En sens horaire, la uantité de
médiums augmente.

7. reble - Aigues (Canal Drive)
Cette commande affecte les fré uences aigües du canal Drive. En sens horaire, la uantité d’aigus
augmente.
8. Volume (Canal Drive)
Ce bouton contrôle le Volume du canal Drive. Tournez le dans le sens horaire afin d’augmenter le
volume.
Utilisez ce contrôle pour ajuster le niveau du canal Drive par rapport à celui du canal Clean.
Ce contrôle a fait aussi plus ou moins saturer la lampe de la boucle d’effet. Ainsi avec un volume
dans la première moitié de course, le son du canal Drive est plus sombre avec un grain plus serré
(Idéal pour des niveaux de gain élevés, des guitares ou HP brillants) ; et dans la seconde moitié, le
son devient plus mordant, plus croustillant et plus aggressif (Idéal pour du crunch léger et crunch).
9. Master Volume
Cette commande contrôle le volume général de l’ampli (donc des 2 canaux). Tournez le dans le
sens horaire afin d’augmenter le volume global.
10. Power - Alimentation
Ce bouton vous permet d’allumer ou éteindre l’amplificateur. Il fait aussi office d’indicateur
lumineux pour vous informer ue l’ampli est allumé.
Avertissement : Du fait de la conception de l'ampli, et notamment du comportement du volume du
canal lead, le fait de pousser les aigues ET le volume du lead a fond, peut entrainer un
écrasement et des oscillations du son, ce ui peut provo uer un sifflement.
Ce n’est pas un défaut en soit, c'est juste ue l'ampli produit pas mal de gain et peut s'avérer
sensible dans cette config. Il faut juste réduire un peu les aigues OU le volume du canal lead et
tout rentre dans l'ordre !

Panneau arrière
1. Entrée d’alimentation
Le câble d’alimentation fourni doit être branché à cette entrée. Le câble doit être relié uni uement
à une prise électri ue compatible avec la tension, la puissance et la fré uence re uises, telles
u’indi uées sur le panneau arrière. En cas de doute, veuillez consulter un technicien compétent.
2. Footswitch
Le footswitch, non fourni, doit être connecté ici. Il vous permet de sélectionner entre le canal Clean
et Drive.
3. Boucle d’effets - Return
Connectez ici la sortie (mono) d’un système d’effets externe.
4. Boucle d’effets - Send
Connectez ici l’entrée (mono) d’un système d’effets externe.
5. Sortie des haut-parleurs 16Ω
Destinée au raccordement d’une seule enceinte 16 Ohms externe
A EN ION : La sortie 16 Ohm ne doit jamais être utilisée en même temps ue la sortie 8 Ohm.
6. Sortie des haut-parleurs 8Ω
Destinée au raccordement d’une seule enceinte 8 Ohms externe
A EN ION : La sortie 8 Ohm ne doit jamais être utilisée en même temps ue la sortie 16 Ohm.
