6.Safety regulation
The excavator is operated by trained drivers and shall comply with
relevant national regulations.
Check the function of the operating system before starting work. If

abnormal work is found, the cause shall be studied immediately.
When transporting or working near the high voltage line, pay
attention to keep a safe distance.
When excavating, pay attention that there shall be no people or
obstacles within the working range of the machine.
The driver should lower the bucket to the ground before leaving the
operating position.
In case of fire, do not use water to put out the fire, but use powder
foam fire extinguisher, or use sand and earth pressure to put out the fire,
or use cover or tarpaulin to put out the fire.
When checking the excavator, stop the engine and lower the bucket
to the ground or bracket.
The safety valve and overload valve in the hydraulic system shall
not be adjusted at will, and shall be adjusted by the company or the
person entrusted by the company.
Daily inspection and regular inspection shall be carried out in strict
accordance with the provisions of this manual.
Inspect whether the working area is safe and reliable before operation

☆Lower the bucket and bulldozer to the ground
☆When the engine is working under heavy load, do not shut down immediately,
let it run at low speed for 1-2 minutes, and shut down after clearing the overheating.
☆Push the accelerator all the way forward
☆Turn the starting key to "0" (all indicator lights are off)

7) Moving on uneven ground and slopes
Engine water temperature
Due to the small width of the machine, special care should be taken when

moving on uneven ground or slopes.
When excavating on the slope, it is necessary to start from a high place to move
the machine to the downhill direction, and the bulldozer plate is at the rear and
pressed on the ground to discharge soil towards the uphill direction. 3.6挖沟
The bulldozer plate is at the back and anchored into the soil.
Extend the boom and the stick and tilt the dipper teeth into the ground.
Start digging with the stick cylinder, and operate the bucket and the stick cylinder at
the same time during the half stroke of digging.
Note: do not insert the bucket too deep into the soil. If this happens, raise the
boom slightly, the bucket should also work smoothly. When the bucket is full, raise
the boom and the stick, keep the bucket level, and turn the platform to the dump
position for unloading.
8) Backfilling or leveling
In order to fill the trench, the excavator must be placed perpendicular to the direction
of the trench, and the bulldozer plate shall be pressed on the soil. Do not cut too deep.
After normal bulldozing, release the control lever.
8 . Transportation of excavator
The excavator drives itself up the slope of the transport vehicle.
In order to avoid any accident, it is recommended that the slope angle be less
than 15 °, or the slope length be equal to 3.3 times of the height, and the slope width
be equal to 1.2-1.5 times of the track width (190mm).

How to get on a transport vehicle
Align the excavator with the ramp with the bulldozer plate at the rear. In order to
be safe, the excavator should be as close to the ramp as possible, so that the excavator
can slowly move forward and up the slope until the end of the slope, then stop driving
and extend the stick, so that the front of the excavator track can be tilted down to the
bottom plate of the transport vehicle.
Lower the stick and lower the bucket onto the plate.
Lower the bulldozer plate and lock the rotary platform.

☆Lift the stick and bucket and lift the bulldozer plate
☆Check that there is no obstacle in the moving range of the excavator, and turn
the platform 180 °to make the excavator track fully incline to the inclined plane.
Note: the wheels of the transport vehicle should be chocked.
When the excavator is walking on the slope, it is not allowed to operate its
excavation mechanism.
Transportation
☆Use a wooden wedge to fix the excavator on the floor of the power
transmission vehicle.
☆Fix the upper part of the excavator with a wide band.
9. Inspection and maintenance
1) Advice
☆Regular maintenance should be made according to the working hours of the
excavator, so check the timer installed on the instrument frequently.
☆In all kinds of excavator inspection, the excavator should be parked on the
horizontal ground and the engine should stop.
☆Every time you check the oil level, oil injection and lubricating oil injection,

you should clean the oil injection port, oil plug and nozzle, but also check the
connection condition of the refueling plug.
☆Be careful not to forget to put the oil plug back in place.
2) Use and maintenance of running-in period
The initial working time of the excavator is 100 hours. During this period, the
excavator should be used carefully and not be overloaded. The good or bad use in the
running-in period determines the service life of the excavator. Carry out the first
overhaul after working for 50 hours. Do not run the engine at high speed when the
hydraulic system is not working. When the hydraulic oil exceeds 40 ℃, excavation
begins. In order to ensure the good working condition and long service life of the
excavator parts, the inspection and maintenance should be carried out meticulously
according to the scheduled cycle (see the inspection and maintenance table).
3) Maintenance
General inspection (inspection cycle, see inspection and maintenance table)
☆Visual inspection of leakage (check corresponding loop oil level if leakage
exists)
☆Check hydraulic fixtures and connections.
☆Inspect appearance of mechanical parts.
☆Check operating equipment, control indicator light and various indicators.
☆Check engine exhaust smoke color to determine the location of abnormal
sound.
4) Fuel circuit
Replenishment of oil tank
☆To avoid condensation, fill up the tank every day after work.
☆The fuel gauge at the front of the tank shows the fuel level.
☆The removal of condensate every 100 hours.
☆Loosen the oil plug, so that the condensate water out, once there is fuel out,
that is to reinstall the oil plug. According to the quality of fuel used, the period of

condensate discharge can be determined by the user.
5) Tank cleaning
Wash every 400 hours
☆Remove the drain plug and empty the tank
☆Reinstall the oil plug, remove the filter screen located in the oil outlet, fill half
of the tank, and drain again. Clean the oil filter and put it back in place.
☆Reinstall the oil plug.
☆Drain the oil air
6) Check injection pressure
Check every 200 hours
The nozzles shall be periodically inspected as per the maintenance schedule and
adjusted if necessary. The inspection shall be carried out by our agency. The working
efficiency of the engine basically depends on the working condition of the nozzle, so
it must be maintained regularly to ensure its normal operation. In order to use the
engine better, the driver of the excavator should pay attention to the sign that the
nozzle is not working well. If necessary, you may consult our company.
The signs are:
☆The crash of a single or multiple cylinder.
☆The engine overheated.
☆Reduced efficiency.
☆The exhaust blackens.
☆Fuel consumption increased.
These signs may also be due to the following reasons, so the following tests
should be made first:
☆The inlet and exhaust doors are not sealed.
☆Incorrect adjustment of fuel injection pump.
☆Oil filter dirty or damaged.
☆The fuel quality is not good.
☆There is water in oil.

7) Exhaust of fuel loop
If air enters the fuel loop when the fuel filter element is replaced, the fuel line is
disconnected, the fuel filter and the fuel pump filter are cleaned, or the fuel tank is
emptied unintentionally, the air should be removed before the engine is restarted.
Exhaust is performed as follows
☆Check all joints of fuel loop for tightness.
☆Loosen the drain screw and turn the engine until the bubble is no longer
escaping from the drain screw. Continue to turn the engine while tightening the drain
screw.
☆Every time you touch the nozzle, loosen the joint on the fuel line, turn the
engine until the fuel bubbles out of the fuel line, and retighten the joint.
8) Replace the fuel filter element
Remove oil filter from elastic support, remove clamp and rubber hose.
Install a new filter (non-detachable filter element) and clean the fuel
oil filter.
9)Clean the fuel strainer
☆Clean fuel filter
☆Remove the fuel pump cap. Remove the filter and its seal washer.
☆Clean the filter and accessories.
☆Check the gasket for damage and reinstall the parts.
☆Clean the loop.
Note: during the third cleaning operation, replace the filter element.
10)Cooling circuit
Check coolant level position
Check every 10 hours
☆Take off the lid of the radiator
When the engine is in a cold state, the water level of the cooling water should be

20mm below the water inlet.
☆Loosen the hole cover slightly to relieve pressure.
☆Then, release the whole hole cover.
11)Check the condition of rubber hose and clamp
Check every 10 hours
☆Locking condition of rubber hose and clamp.
12)Radiator blade cleaning
Clean with water or compressed air.
Clean the engine with water when it is cold.
13)Replace coolant
The first change will be made after 50 hours, and then every 400 hours.
☆Remove the hole cover on the radiator.
☆Release drain blockage to allow coolant to flow out.
☆Clean the cooling water loop. Use cleaning equipment if necessary. In this
case, unscrew the blockage, idle the engine for 10 minutes, then shut down and drain
the cooling water in the cooling loop.
☆Reinstall drain blockage.
☆Fill up with cooling water and allow the engine to idle for a few minutes,
filling the entire loop with water.
☆Check the cooling water level and replenish the cooling water.
14)Check the concentration of coolant
Before the cold season begins, check the coolant concentration. The coolant shall
be able to operate at -20℃, and if the ambient temperature is lower, the proportion of
antifreeze shall be increased.
15)Check the level of the hydraulic oil
Check every 10 hours
☆Park the excavator on level ground.
☆Start the engine to make each hydraulic cylinder reciprocate.
