Instructions
Setting up the line
Step 1
Determine your course height. The line height should be set to where your shortest Ninja’s
feet are 30cm maximum distance from the ground as they hang from the lowest obstacle.
To establish a starting height, have the shortest Ninja reach out above their head as high
as they can. Measure that height (from the ground to the tips of their outstretched fingers)
and then add an additional 60cm for clearance, this allows 30cm for Ninja Line sag and
30cm ground clearance you should re adjust tension to achieve 30cm clearance
Step 2
Wrap the tree protectors around the tree trunk.
Step 3
Loop End B of Part 4 (ratchet attachment) around the first tree or anchor point. Loop End
B of Part 5 (slack Line) around the second tree or anchor point.
Step 4
Proceed to feed End A of Part 5 (slack line) through the opening in the Rachet (Part 4 End
A), and wrap around the rachets spindle. Keep the line straight.
Step 5
Using the Carabiners (Part 7), add the obstacle components through the pockets along the
slack line prior to tightening to the required tension.
End B End B
End A End A
Part 4 Part 5

Step 6
Continue to feed through the slack line until
the line is tight.
Step 7
Turn the ratchet over and unlock by pulling
out the release lever.
Step 8
Pull the handle up and down to tighten the slackline. Do not over tighten the ratchet.
Tighten the line to suit your preference.
Step 9
When the line is tight, ensure the ratchet is back into the locked position using the release
lever. The handle should be level with the line facing down. Always use padding between
the tree and line.
The slackline is now fully set up and ready to use.
Releasing the line
Step 1
Unlock the ratchet by pulling out the release
lever firmly.
Step 2
Firmly push the ratchet right back until the
line “snaps” loose.

The course is a conditioning course: You will improve over time.
Do not expect to be able to complete the course at first.
1. Have a stable step ladder for the users to reach the first obstacle on the line in order
to begin.
2. For the first couple of times, you may want to set the line height, so the users can
be on their “tippy toes” taking some of their weight off their grips on the obstacles.
This way they can get some sense of accomplishment, and give their muscles time to
develop.
3. Gradually raise the line’s (and obstacle) height over time, until the users are actually
suspended above the ground.
4. Once the users have mastered a certain order of obstacles, change them up. Try
spacing them further apart too. Remember, you can have up to 12 obstacles on the
course.
5. Be patient and enjoy your Ninja Line course.
NOTE: Locate the carabiner tightening nut above the rope, so it will sit outside the pocket
during use.
