Any person using a paddle board built and/or sold by AKONA is personally responsible for
determining that their abilities are equal or superior to the conditions encountered and can
exercise proper judgment in choice of where and when to use. Any person using an AKONA
paddle board assumes all risks and takes complete responsibility for any and all damages,
or injuries including death, which may result from use of, or participation in AKONA paddle
board. The user of this product should understand that participating in water activities may

INTRODUCTION AND SAFETY
Before hitting the water with your AKONA Havana paddle board, read through
these instructions to insure you have a safe and epic experience.
IT IS THE OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITY
to read the owner’s manual and instruct all users in the safe operation of these
products. By using these products, you agree to the Terms and Conditions,
Disclaimer and Warnings in this manual. Please read this manual prior to
using these products and keep for future reference. As with any action sport,
recklessness, inexperience, misuse or neglect of the equipment may result in
serious injury or death.
LIMITED WARRANTY
We aim to provide our customers with high quality watersports
equipment, but sometimes the unexpected happens. All AKONA Water
iSUPs are provided with two year warranty. This excludes damage due to
misuse, improper care, handling impact damage and light abrasions.

In the event of warranty claim, on initial contact, please attach the
product name, your full name, address, phone number, brief description of
the problem and proof of purchase date.

• Read and understand all of the information contained in this owner’s manual
before assembling and using your product.
• Make sure that everyone who uses the product is provided with and
understands these safety rules and information.
• Always wear a U.S./Canada Coast Guard approved Type III (PFD) vest when
using
the products.
• Never use the product under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Never use the product while tired or fatigued.
• Never use this product beyond your skills and abilities .
• Ask about local water conditions before using the product in unfamiliar water.
• Check local laws and regulations regarding safe and proper use of this product.
• Always use in ideal conditions and when there is no risk of injury due to bad
weather or water conditions.
• Never use this product after sunset, before dawn, or any time in poor lighting.
• When not in use, secure the product against unauthorized or unsupervised use
by removing the paddle board from the water.
• Always inspect your product for any worn, defective, or missing parts.
• Minors using the paddle board must be under adult supervision.
• DO NOT OVER-INFLATE. This could cause seam rupture.
• Ensure proper air pressure is maintained while the product is in use. Change in
temperature can cause air pressure to increase/decrease.
• This product is not designed to be used as a life saving device.

UNPACK THE CONTENTS
Unroll the board a on a at surface. Make sure there are no sharp objects under the
product that might puncture the product.
INFLATE THE BOARD
Fasten air hose to pump. Locate the air valve on tail section of the board deck. Open
valve cover. Make sure the inner valve is disengaged in the “UP” position. Connect air
hose to air valve.
Begin pumping. Inate board to 14-15 PSI.
Disconnect air hose from valve. Inner valve will prevent air from escaping when
disengaged in the “UP” position.

CAUTION!
DO NOT OVER INFLATE
Havana boards can hold up to 15 PSI; however, the recommended PSI is 15 PSI as the
board will remain rigid at 15 PSI and no further benet is gained when inating over
15 PSI.
If inated to 15 PSI and then placed in direct sunlight, pressure will increase and the
board will expand from the heat causing potential over ination and damage to the
seams. This is NOT covered by warranty.

PADDLE ASSEMBLY
For carrying convenience, the paddle can be separated into 3 smaller sections.
Pull open C clamp mechanism by grabbing notched sides and pulling rmly towards
you.
Apply gentle pressure, pressing the C clamp shut. Tighten or loosen clamp screws
if needed.
Attatch blade portion to paddle shaft.

FIN INSTALLATION
CENTER FIN INSTALLATION
Identify center n box with square opening. Remove screw and square nut from n then
thread screw back through nut slightly, place nut in square opening and slide forward in
n box with screw still attached.
Take large n and place the brass “nub” in same square opening, slide to the back of n
box in same channel nut was placed in.
Press large n down, remove screw while leaving nut in channel then slide nut into
position under front screw hole in n. Thread screw through n hole into nut and tighten

DEFLATION INSTRUCTIONS
DEFLATING THE BOARD
Open valve cover.
Depress inner valve and twist to lock in the open or “down” position.
Allow air to freely escape board Beginning at the nose, tightly roll up board to force
remaining air through the air valve.
Remove ns to avoid damage to the board or ns.

SIDE FIN INSTALLATION
Insert side n into notched section of n box rst then push n towards rear of the
board until n is seated completely in the n box.
Lock n into place by sliding clip through the slot on the n box. Repeat steps for
second side n.

BOARD MAINTENANCE
• Sun, sand and salt water will degrade any man-made material over time. Rinse
off sand and saltwater deposits from your paddle board with fresh water and
store in a cool, dry environment after each use.
• Wash with soap and water with each use. Allow carry handles to dry
completely prior to storing for prolonged storage period.
IMPORTANT!
DO NOT LEAVE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT
Damage resulting from heat is not covered by manufactures warranty.
Never leave paddle board exposed to direct sunlight when out of the water. Always
keep in the shade when not in the water. If you must expose your board to direct
sunlight during transport or temporary storage, it is safest to keep the bottom facing
up. Prolonged exposure to sun,even while paddle boarding, may impact the integrity of
the board materials.

TRANSPORTATION RECOMMENDATIONS
DAMAGES OR WARPING DUE TO IMPROPER TRANSPORT ARE NOT COVERED
BY THE MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY
This inatable board is designed to be compact for convenient storage & travel.
Due its light weight when inated, they will travel poorly if strapped to a vehicle
rooftop.
When transporting the board, be sure to clear any sharp objects.
Allow the board to completely dry before tightly rolling for packing. Excess
moisture may cause mildew or mold damage.
When rolling the board, make sure the valve is open and to start at the nose.
rolling a tight straight roll. Then close the valve and wrap the strap around the
roll.
Avoid placing the rolled board on its side on rough services such as concrete or
rocks. This can cause damage to the rst layer of the rail.
Keep the board clear of any heat producing items such as camp stoves, propane
lamps, etc.
PUNCTURES AND DAMAGE CAUSED BY HEAT ARE NOT COVERED BY THE
MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY.

Completely deate the paddle board.
Thoroughly clean the surface around the leak and the matte side of the patch with
rubbing alcohol. Both surfaces must be free of moisture, oil, and debris.
Apply glue carefully and evenly to both paddle board surface and matte side of the
patch. Apply thin layer of glue across the entire patch.
Best practice is to seal the patch to the board by using a clamp, leaving the clamp in
place for 12-24 hours.
Allow glue to dry for 24 hours before using paddle board.

Diversco Supply Inc./AKONA, repair or alteration by a person other than a person authorized by Divesco
Supply Inc./AKONA, or failure to follow instructions for use void any guarantee or warranty.
Additionally, normal wear and tear, including, but not limited to, minor discoloration and scratches are not
covered by any guarantee or warranty.
The rights under these terms and conditions, shall only apply to the original purchaser and shall not extend
to commercial or communal use.
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product. Keep the product and any
cord, or small components, out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
Diversco Supply Inc., reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notices under which their
products are offered.

The use of this assumes all risks of any personal injury or death and willfully releases AKONA and/
or Diversco Supply Inc. of any and all liabilities. This product is not a life saving device. Do not leave
a child unattended while in use. Do not use this product in conditions which are hazardous. Only use
this product is you are a competent swimmer. Adult supervision is strongly recommended.
