General Safety Instructions
WARNING: Never use the portable basketball system before fully filling up the moulded base with
water or sand.
1. Do not hang from the ring, climb the pole or climb on the base as this could result in serious
personal injury.
2. Adjustments and moving of the basketball system must be carried out by adults.
3. Keep fingers and hands away from moving parts.
4. Always check the unit to ensure that the moulded base is full of water or sand, is stable, and
that all fittings and hardware are tight before each use.
5. Always place the base on a flat surface. Ensure the surface is free of stones, gravel or any
other debris which could puncture the base.
6. Do not let water freeze in the base.
7. Two people are required for assembly.
8. Check the base regularly for any leakage before play.
9. Ensure height adjustment knobs are tightly secured aer each adjustment.
10. This basketball system is for domestic use only.
11. Action recommends filling the base with sand. If you choose to fill the base with water -

base and lower its weight. This could cause the unit to become unstable and tip.
12. Do not hang anything from the rim, net or backboard.
13. Do not leave the system standing upright without having filled the base with sand or water.
14. Do not use the system in windy or severe weather conditions as system may tip over. Place
