Product information
This manual contains the technical installation and important instructions for correct commissioning
and usage, as well as production information according to the current status before printing.
The content of this manual and the technical product data may be changed without prior notice.
ADDI-DATA GmbH reserves the right to make changes to the technical data and the materials included

The user is not permitted to make changes to the product beyond the intended use, or to interfere

The standard delivery of the MSX-Box does not include a PC board.

2Mounting the MSX-Box
2.1 DIN rail mounting
WARNING!
Should you have already mounted the MSX-Box and want to
transport it in a switch cabinet or in other systems, do ensure that
there is sufficient transportation lock. The MSX-Box could fall e.g.
from the DIN rail, which could lead to the damage of the MSX-Box,
boards and/or other objects/persons.
2.1.1 Fasten the rail clamp to the MSX-Box
Fasten the clamp in the holes with the 2 screws delivered with the MSX-Box.
i IMPORTANT!
The spring within the clamp points to the ground (see figure below).

Introduce the clamp by placing the spring under the rail

Lift the MSX-Box until the upper part of the clamp locks on the rail.

2.2 Wall mounting
2.2.1 Fasten the wall boards to the MSX-Box
Fasten the clamps in the holes with the 2 delivered screws.

Switch off the MSX-Box and all the units connected to the MSX-Box.
Pull the Box mains plug from the socket.
Unscrew the 6 screws from the housing lid.

WARNING!
Be careful when lifting the lid: an earthing line is connected to the lid
through a ribbon connector
You can remove the earthing line or lay the lid reversed to the side.
Unscrew the board holding clamp (if mounted).

Discharge yourself from electrostatic charges.
Remove the back cover of the selected slot.
Take the board out of its package.

Insert the board vertically into the chosen slot.

Fasten the board to the rear of the housing with the screw which was fixed on the back
cover.

Screw the board holding clamp and the earthing line.
Push the screw to the rear or the front of the clamp to fix the board.

Tighten all the loosen screws of the housing lid.
