Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Blue by ADT
You’ve made a great decision to help protect your
family and home with the purchase of your Blue by ADT
Indoor Camera.
Use your Blue Indoor Camera to watch and record
activities in your home. This WiFi-enabled security camera
can be set up with custom motion detection to record
videos or take photos.

Before You Get Started
You will need:
• WiFi and broadband internet connection with at least
2 Mbps upload speed
• iOS or Android device
• Phillips screwdriver or drill with Phillips driver bit (optional)
• Power drill with drill bits for pilot holes (optional)

Setting Up Your
Blue by ADT Indoor Camera
Getting started is simple. Just follow these steps:
1. Plug your Blue by ADT Indoor Camera into an outlet.
2. Download the iOS or Android app by visiting
www.BluebyADT.com/apps
3. Open the app to create an account or log in to an
existing account.
4. Go to Settings > Devices > Add Device and select
your Blue Indoor Camera.
5. Follow the in-app screens to pair your device to your
WiFi network or your Blue by ADT Extender + Chime.
6. Set up the device in your desired location. Optionally,
use the included mounting template if you are
mounting the camera on a wall or ceiling.

On-Device Storage
Your camera supports on-device storage using a
Class 10 or better SD card with minimum storage
of 16GB and a maximum of 128GB.
Factory Resetting Your Blue Indoor Camera
To factory reset your device, press and hold the button
on its back for greater than 10 seconds while the device
is powered on.
Setting Up Amazon Alexa
To pair your Blue by ADT Indoor Camera with Alexa:
1. Click on Settings > Devices then choose the device
you would like to add to Alexa.
2. Select Advanced Settings for the device and tap on
“Set Up Alexa.”
3. You will be prompted to log in with Alexa to pair
your device.

Important Safety Information
1. Read and keep these instructions.
2. Heed all warnings.
3. Clean only with a dry cloth.
4. Set up in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Do not place this device in a conned space such as a bookcase
or similar unit without proper ventilation.
6. Do not set up near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other devices (including ampliers) that produce heat.
7. The device shall not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and no
objects lled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the device.
8. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
9. Follow all local waste and recycling laws when disposing of batteries.
10. Use only with the stand, tripod, or bracket specied by the
manufacturer, or sold with the device.
11. Only use the AC adapter supplied with this device. Do not use a power
supply from another device or another manufacturer. Using any other
power cable or power supply may cause damage to the device and
void your warranty.
12. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. If the provided plug
does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of
the obsolete outlet.
13. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where where it exits
from the device.
14. Do not drop the device or subject it to physical shock.
15. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for
long periods.
16. Do not use high voltage products around this device (eg. electrical
swatter) as this product may malfunction due to electrical shock.
17. Do not remove the cover. Refer all servicing to qualied service
personnel if a power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid was spilled,
objects fell into the device, the device was exposed to rain or moisture,
doesn’t operate normally, or was dropped.
18. WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State
of California to cause cancer and congenital disabilities or other
reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
