Starter Kit
1. Minimum 2 x AC 100V ~ 240V power outlets
2. At least 2 Powerline Adaptors
3. Standard home power wiring
4. A computer with the following:
> Operating System with TCP/IP installed
> Pentium III compatible processor and above
> Ethernet LAN card installed with TCP/IP protocol
> 64 MB RAM or more
> 50 MB of free disk space (minimum)
> CD-ROM Drive

2 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
4 BEFORE INSTALLATION
Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it
please do so according to local regulations.
The following items are included:
> Ethernet (RJ-45) Cable x 2
> CD-ROM
The Powerline Adaptor must NOT be connected to:
> an extension lead / cord / board
> a multiplug
> a surge protector
The above may negatively affect your home network performance.

3 PRODUCT OVERVIEW
5 TYPICAL POWERLINE NETWORK INSTALLATION
The Powerline Adaptors will now connect and the PLC indicator will
illuminate. They are now ready to use.
If the PLC indicator does not illuminate, The adapters need to be paired,
please follow the steps below.
1. Plug in the new Adaptor, turn the power outlet ON.
2. Press the Pair button (3 - 8 secs) then release, PWR LED will flash.
3. Plug in 2nd Adaptor, turn the power outlet ON.
4. Press the Pair button (3 - 8 secs) then release, PWR LED will flash.
5. Wait for 1 min for the 2 Adaptors to finish connecting.
6. The PLC indicator will illuminate, the power adaptors are now ready for
use.
Note that both Pair buttons must be pressed within 2 mins of each other.

Flashing The Powerline Adaptor is in power-saving
mode.
Off The Ethernet port isn’t connected.
Solidly lit The Ethernet port is connected, but there is
no data being transferred.
Flashing The Ethernet port is transferring data.
