•Open windows and doors, ventilate very well.
•Shut off gas supply to the appliance and mains gas supply.
•Contact your gas company’s emergency service or the servicedepart-
ment.
•Do not do anything to the appliance.

•Be careful if connecting electrical appliances to sockets near to this
appliance. Electrical leads must not be allowed to come near hot
rings.
1Warning: Risk of burns!
•During operation the rings become hot.
•Overheated fats and oils can ignite quickly. If you are cooking foods
in fat or oil (e. g., chips), you should watch the cooking process.
•Do not place or store flammable liquids, highly inflammable materials
or fusible objects (e.g. plastic film, plastic, aluminium) on or near the
appliance.
Safety when cleaning
•For cleaning, the appliance must be switched off and cooled down.
•For safety reasons, the cleaning of the appliance with steam jet or
high-pressure cleaning equipment is not permitted.
How to avoid damage to the appliance
•The glass ceramic can be damaged by objects falling onto it.
•Objects that melt and things that boil over can burn onto the glass
ceramic and should be removed straightaway.
Before using for the first time
•Remove pan stand, burner cover and burner crown.
•Remove any stickers that are on the glass ceramic.
•Put a few drops of glass ceramic cleaner on the glass ceramic and rub
with a cloth or kitchen paper.
•Wipe glass ceramic dry.
•Clean pan holder, burner crown and burner cover with warm water
and washing up liquid. Dry off.
•Replace burner crown, burner cover and pan stand.
