The 2008 Economy models of the YEStation
Mini family are aimed at the Virtual Desktop
Infrastructure (VDI) market pioneered by
VMware. Citrix, Microsoft and others, but
are equally at home in Windows Server
Based Computing (SBC) environments.
These low cost units can deliver a full
Windows XP or Vista desktop by connecting
to virtual machines running on server
hardware located in the Data Center.
The model 2245 VDI edition includes three USB
Ports (two front, one rear), VGA, 10/100 Ethernet,
and zero foot print mounting options for only $199
The model 2242 Legacy Edition has three USB
ports, a parallel printer port, a PS/2 keyboard
port, and PowerTerm terminal emulation with
terminal-style 122 keyboard support for 5250 and
3270 users and 20 other ASCII/ANSI terminal
emulators for UNIX, Linux, and DEC users.
All for only $299
YEStations have no moving parts and are
incredibly reliable. Standard warranty is a three-
year advance replacement program. Some
ThinClient Vendors charge up to $65 additional
for advance replacement.
A five year advance replacement option is
available at time of purchase.
