4Safety requirements
4.1 Permitted use of the machine.
The sprayer can be used exclusively for agricultural work in field and vegetable crops, special crops
and fodder crops for the application of plant protection products and liquid fertilizers.
The spraying equipment may only be operated, maintained and connected by persons who are
familiar with the possible hazards involved in using the machine.
The maximum permissible speed of a sprayer with BPW axle is 40 km/h.
The maximum permissible speed of a sprayer with the boom unfolded is 12 km/h.
Max. guaranteed slope accessibility is 7%.
CAUTION - Do not fill the tank beyond the maximum technically permissible weight.
Beyond the intended use, note;
-all recommendations in these operating instructions.
-compliance with the warranty and maintenance conditions.
-Immediately rectify any defects that could endanger the operator or the machine.
Attention!
Any use outside the instructions is not permitted!
For damage caused by unauthorized use:
-is the sole responsibility of the user.
-the manufacturer does not provide any warranty.
The relevant safety, occupational health and traffic regulations must be observed.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by modifications made to the machine by the
user.
The manufacturer is not aware of any negative effects of pesticides that could damage the device.
Attention!
These operating instructions must be read carefully before using the machine and the
recommendations must be followed exactly!
The manufacturer does not assume any warranty for damage caused by carelessness!

4.2 Safety and accident prevention regulations
4.2.1 General safety instructions
-Test the traffic and operational safety before each commissioning!
-Observe the recommendations in this manual and the general safety and accident prevention
regulations!
-Observe the relevant regulations when using the machine on public roads!
-The driving speed must be adapted to the driving conditions, the gradient and the tank filling
level!
-The maximum permissible speed when driving with the cultivation or floating tires must be
adapted to the recommendations of the tire manufacturers!
-Before starting work, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with all the equipment, controls and
functions of the machine!
-Make sure that no other people are around before you start!
-Make sure you have a good view of the machine and your surroundings!
-Check the traffic facilities - e.g. lighting, warning and safety signs!
-Pay attention to the yaw and centrifugal force of the machine when cornering!
-Riding on the machine during work and transport is prohibited!
-The permissible weight per axle, hitch and support leg must not be exceeded!
-When folding and unfolding the boom, no one is allowed to be in the folding area!
-It is forbidden to stay under the unfolded boom!
-There are shear points on all hydraulically folded areas!
4.2.2 Safety regulations for road traffic
-When participating in road traffic, you must comply with the rules of the road traffic
regulations!
-The machine must be equipped with the prescribed equipment.
-The driving speed must be adapted to the terrain profile!
-Special care must be taken when driving on slopes. Danger of the machine tipping over!
-In difficult terrain, make sure that the machine has sufficient ground clearance!
-The maximum speed allowed is 40 km/h.
-When used on the road, nothing must be attached behind the sprayer.
-It is forbidden to carry people on the machine.
-Operation of the machine in poor visibility conditions is prohibited.
-Always clean the side fenders before driving on public roads.
4.2.3 Hydraulic system
-The hydraulic system is under pressure!
-When connecting hydraulic cylinders and pumps, the prescribed connection of the hydraulic hoses
must be observed!
-Check the hydraulic hose lines regularly and replace them if damaged or aged!

-The replaced hose lines must comply with the technical requirements of the machine
manufacturer!
-Use appropriate equipment when searching for leaks due to the risk of injury!
-Liquids escaping under high pressure (hydraulic oil) can penetrate the skin and cause serious
injuries! In case of injuries, consult a physician immediately! There is a risk of infection!
-Before working on the hydraulic system, lower the boom to the transport position or lower it
completely when folded out. The unit must not be under pressure!
Attention!
The hydraulic system is under high pressure!
Always release the pressure carefully before working on the hydraulic system.
Only allow professionally trained personnel to carry out work on the hydraulics.
Custom modifications or changes to the hydraulic system will void the warranty.
4.2.4 Drive
-Before switching on the drive, make sure that the selected tractor speed matches the maximum
speed of the sprayer pump and that no one is in the vicinity of the sprayer!
-Never switch on the drive with the motor switched off!
4.2.5 Brakes
-Set the load controller to the appropriate load level.
-Check the brakes before every ride!
-The adjustment and repair of the brakes may only be carried out by specialist workshops or
approved service technicians!
4.2.6 Tires
-When working on tires, the machine must be secured against rolling away (wheel chocks).
-The assembly of wheels and tires requires sufficient knowledge and the prescribed tools!
-Wheel and tire repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel and with the tools intended
for this purpose!
-Check the wheel bolt nuts! Failure to do so may result in loss of the wheel and overturning of the
machine!
-Retighten after the first 50 km and regularly check the tightness of the tightening.
-Check the air pressure of the tires regularly! The pressure must correspond to the load capacity
and the actual load of the wheels!
-Check your tires regularly for damage (cuts, holes, dents)!
-On the tire is a table with pressure values for different speeds.
4.2.7 Repair and maintenance
-Regularly check whether the screws and nuts are tightened or retighten them!
-Dispose of oils, greases and filters properly!
-Before working on the electrical system, disconnect the machine from the power supply!
-If safety devices are subject to wear, they must be checked regularly and replaced in good time!
-When welding on the sprayer, the power supply must be disconnected!
-Do not open any lines that are under pressure! First depressurize with water taps!
-Only hoses with an operating pressure of at least 20 bar and which meet the required mechanical,
chemical and temperature resistance may be used as replacement hoses for crop protection agents!
Only stainless steel hose clamps may be used for assembly!

-Repairs in and on the tank may only be carried out after thoroughly washing the tank and using a
breathing mask or oxygen apparatus! For safety reasons, a second person outside the tank must
supervise the repair!
-When repairing a sprayer that has applied liquid fertilizer containing nitrates and urea, consider
the following:
- the residue of dissolved nitrate with urea is converted into salts by evaporation of water, pure
nitrate and urea are formed.
- if the critical temperature is exceeded during repair (e.g. grinding, welding), nitrate in pure
form is explosive in combination with organic substances (e.g. urea)!
- Nitrate salts with urea are water soluble, i.e. thorough washing with water before repair
eliminates the risk of explosion.
Attention!
Repairs to crop protection sprayers may only be carried out by qualified personnel!
4.2.8 Handling P pesticides
-Follow the recommendations of the crop protection product manufacturer!
-Wear protective clothing and observe the regulations for use and cleaning!
-Fabrics that tend to stick or shrink must not be used!
-Eating, drinking and smoking is prohibited when working with plant protection products!
-Prevent children from having access to plant protection equipment and products!
-Never blow nozzles and other small parts clean with your mouth!
Attention!
Before using products and fertilizers, read the safety data sheet carefully and follow the
instructions for use exactly.
