Adjustable Telescopic Lance
Application:
2.1. The equipment can be used with industry recognised insecticidal powder. Do not use oils or
liquids.
Safety Guidelines:
4.1. Do not inhale. Do not discharged towards face, body or people.
4.2. Make sure that the product you wish to apply is suitable for this equipment. The data safety
and handling instructions provided by the chemical manufacturer must be noted and
observed. The use of chemicals is entirely at the user’s own risk. Should you have any
doubts in this respect please contact the distributor where you purchased your insecticidal
powder.
4.3. The lance must not be used with liquids or caustic substances (e.g. disinfectants or
impregnating liquids which attack the skin or materials), corrosive substances (acids) or
highly ammable or combustible substances.
4.4. Before each use, check to ensure that the lance has been correctly assembled, and that it is
in a functional and undamaged condition. Damaged parts must never be used.
Safety Regulations:
1.1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before operating this equipment for the rst time.
1.2. Please observe the safety and warning regulations.
1.3. Failure to observe these regulations will exempt the manufacturer of all liability.
1.4. Keep the operating instructions in the carry case with the lance.
1.5. Failure to comply with the safety instructions and warnings can lead to serious injury or death
of persons.
Warning:
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT ALL AIR IS RELEASED FROM THE 1L STAINLESS STEEL
TANK AFTER EACH USE. NEVER TRANSPORT THE TANK WHILST PRESSURISED.
3.1. During transport ensure equipment is stored in the protective carry case provided.
3.2. Do not operate the appliance when other people are in the workspace.
3.3. Store equipment and chemicals in a safe place, with end-caps and plugs in place, away from
children and animals.
3.4. When the lance is passed onto third parties, it must be accompanied by the operating
instructions.
3.5. Please observe during operation, that the application of insecticidal powder is accordance
with any statutory protection acts.
3.6. Using the lance in strong winds may cause damage.
3.7. To avoid electrocution do not use lance near over head power cables.

1. Remove the lance, hose kit and
exible nozzle from the carry tube.
2. Straighten the hose kit (after removing
straps) by pulling gently.
4. Now unscrew the caps from the top
of the powder chamber and the exible
nozzle.
5.Use the powder scoop provided to
ll the powder chamber.
(Please note powder is not
included).
3. Remove the powder chamber and
powder scoop from the carry tube.
6. Fill powder chamber to max ll line.
(Keep powder chamber at a 45° angle
during lling).

8. Remove the end cap from lance.
9. Now screw onto the top of the
lance. (Do not over tighten).
10. Bend the exible nozzle to the
required shape and then remove the
yellow tip cap.
To avoid damage do not bend
the exible nozzle sharply!
7. Screw on the powder chamber
cap and exible nozzle.
(Keep powder chamber upright).
11. Extend the lance to the required length (See page 8).

Do not use during electrical
storms or during strong
winds.
To avoid electrocution do not
use lance near over head
power cables.
Do not impact end of lance on
the ground when retracting! Twist
and push to release each section,
ensuring the lance remains in the
upright position.
1. Extend and twist to lock each section.
Do not pull sections out too forcefully as
joints can be over extended.

3. Unscrew the metal cap from the tank
inator valve before attaching your pump.
Now connect the pump to the inator
valve of the 1L stainless steel tank and
pressurise to 3 bar / 44 psi.
(Stand the 1L stainless steel tank
on the ground in an upright position
whilst pressurising).
4. Disconnect your pump from the inator
valve on the tank and screw the metal
cap back on before carrying out the
treatment.
5.1. Using the extended lance, insert the
exible nozzle into the entrance of the
nest. Press the trigger on top of the
1L tank. (Do not hold down, press
trigger in short bursts).
5.2. Once the treatment is nished, hold the lance vertically and collapse down each
section at a time. Once fully collapsed, remove the powder chamber from the top and
then press the trigger to release any unused air. Finally, disconnect the tubing kit from
the trigger outlet valve and repack your kit away.
2. Lay your lance out on the ground or
prop up against a wall safely. Now
connect the end of tubing kit and push
rmly into the trigger outlet valve on the
1L stainless steel tank.

attached after initial use).

Storage places to avoid:
1. Areas subjected to rain, high humidity or dirty environments.
2. In direct sunlight, or places of extreme heat such as a closed car on a hot
summers day or extremely cold environments.
3. Places which experience strong vibrations.
4. Moisture will cause clogging of dust that can cause a blockage. Store your lance in
dry conditions, with an empty powder chamber.
Caring for your AR 3 Pro:
1. Use a soft brush or soft, dry cloth to remove dust from the lance, hose and carry
case.
2. Do not scratch hard objects against the lance.
3. The product should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use volatile
substances or cleaning products as these can cause damage.

Adjustable Telescopic Lance
Replacing a damaged pole section
When ordering a replacement pole section, they are referenced (ARP3-03 to
ARP-11), with section 1 (ARP3-03) being the handle (thickest) and section 3
(ARP-11) being the top section connecting to the powder chamber.
1. Remove the main tubing by pulling
through the lance. (KEEP FOR REUSE).
2. Pull the rubber end foot o the lance.
3. Remove the damaged section from
the lance.

4. Insert the new section by sliding it
back into the lance.
5. Put the hose kit back through the lance
as shown above.
6. Ret the rubber end foot to the lance.

Problem Possible causes Solutions
No powder
coming out
of the exible
nozzle.
Check if the exible nozzle tip cap is
removed.
If the exible nozzle is
damaged, please order:

Flexible Nozzle Kit -

Check that the exible nozzle isn’t
damaged or kinked.
Ensure powder chamber is securely
screwed onto the lance and the caps
of the powder chamber and exible
nozzle are tight.
Check that the 1L stainless steel tank
is pressurised to 3 bar / 44 psi.
Check powder is not damp as this can
cause blockages.
No pressure
in the 1L
stainless steel
tank.
Check if the front trigger outlet valve is
screwed onto the tank securely.
If the front trigger outlet
valve is damaged,
please order:

Check if the inator valve inner core is
not leaking air. If air leakage is audible
the inator valve inner core needs
tightened. (Use a standard bike valve
core remover tool to tighten).
If the tank is still leaking air,
then please order:

Check if the trigger head is screwed
onto the tank securely.
Check if the inator valve is securely
tightened.
Powder falling
back down
inside of the
lance.
Check if the powder chamber’s
internal non-return valve located at the
bottom is damaged. To do this hold
the lled powder chamber upright and
over a container, gently shake the
chamber from side to side (ensure the
powder chamber top cap is in place).
If the internal non-return valve is
damaged, powder will fallout from the
bottom of the chamber.
If the powder chamber’s
internal non-return valve
is damaged, then please
