Guidelines
For a safety and effective use of MV55920 which is one of
the series of AIGO MP5 Player products, before use, please
read carefully the following guidelines.
Warnings
Do not place this product in an over-high or extra-low
temperature environment.
Do not get this product exposed in the rain or placed in
a damp environment.
Do not place this product close to any magnetic things.
Do not throw this prouct or get it fallen off and strongly
smashed.
Do not get this product directly exposed in the sunshine
or placed in a high-temperature environment (Like
placing it in the trunk of a car under the hot sun),
otherwise, damages or failures may be caused.
Please use the exlusive power adapter; do not use
other power adapters.
Do not wipe this product with water and cleansing agent,
you can use an exclusive screen wiper, the attachment of
the product, to clean its body.
Attentions
Please keep the body clean and do not get the screen
scratched.
Do not use this product in a dusty or smoky
environment.
Do not place any heavy instrument on this product.
Driver should not use this product during driving.
We suggest users do not use this product in the state of
big volume and long time so as to advoiding hearing

impairment.
During the use of headset, please beware that the cord
of headset may be hooked and pulled by other
instruments which may result in damages of headset.
Do not take any try to dismantle this product by your own,
and the maintenance and repairing should only to be
conducted by the staffs authorized by original factory.

Chapter II Introduction on Appearance
1. Front View
1. D-pad: to select direction of up, down, left and right.
Move upward/downward the cursor, or +/- the volume, etc.
Move left/right the cursor, or fast backward/forward, etc.
2. Confirm/OK (hereinafter referred to as “OK” key): to confirm, or
play/pause
3. Exit (Hereinafter referred to as “Exit” key): to exit.
4. Built-in speaker: the speaker is in state of power on; during the
headset is not pluged in.

6. Menu (hereinafter referred to as “MENU” button): in different
functions and interfaces, press this button to bring out the
corresponding menu.
7. Hold: to lock the buttons.Move left to enter the locked state and
move to middle position to enter unlocked state.
8. Startup/shutdown: slightly push right for about 3 seconds to start or
shutdown this MP5.
9. Power indicator: in power on state, the green indicating lamp ever
lights.In recharging state, the red indicating lamp ever lights.During
being fully charged in shutdown state, the red indicating lamp goes out
with no indicating lamp lighting.
10. MIC: built-in microphone, used in digital sound recording.
11. TV/LCD button: to select video output.Used in switching the LCD
screen or TV output display, this button can only be used in main
menu.During playing the video, use this button to adjust the ratio of
images.
12. Brightness button: to adjust the brightness of LCD screen, there
are 5 levels (1-5) available for adjustment.
13. Shoot pictures: shutter button.This button can also be used to enter
image preview interface.

14. Backcover of battery: take down or replace the battery via opening
it.
Attention: during replacing the battery, beware the position of
“+” and “-" poles, do not reverse them.
15. Camera: built-in 2 million pixels camera, support digital video
shooting and picture shooting.

4. Right Side View
16. Video/audio output port (hereinafter referred to as A/V output port):
it's used for outputting the video and audio of this product to TV. It can
also be used as headset jack; when connecting the attached headset
to this port, you can hear the sound from headset played by multimedia.
17. Video/audio input port (hereinafter referred to as A/V input port): it's
used for inputing the video and audio signal of DVD to this PMP
MV5920.
18. USB 2.0 port: it’s used for connecting this product to PC and USB.
19. Power outlets: it’s a power adapter jack, which is only used in
connecting the exclusive power adapter of this PMP MV5920.

Chapter III Instruction for Use
One.Basic Operations
1、Start up
1) Constantly push right the “startup/shutdown" button for
about 3 seconds to start this machine, and the startup
image will be displayed on the screen.
2) Enter mainmenu.
2、Shut down
Constantly push right the “startup/shutdown” button for

about 3 seconds to shut down this machine, then, a dialog-box
of “shuting down” will be brought out, finally, the system shuts
down.
3、Main menu
This product has totally 3 levels of function menus for
selection: main menu, function list and sub-menu.
Operation methods are as follows:
1) After entering “main menu”, eight different types of
function icons will be displayed, namely, “file, e-book,
shoot picture and video, setting, picture, music, and
video”.
2) Press “left/right” button to browse these functions, and
press “OK” for entry.
3) System is preset as that when standby time of “main
menu” or being connected to DC keeps for 10 seconds,
"main menu” will enter the state of hibernation, on this
moment, the main menu will disappear temporarily,
and you can press any key to awake the system.For

saving the power of battery, the system is defaulted
that when the standby time of PMP is over 10 min., the
machine will automatically shut down.
4) These settings may be alternated in "power selection”
of “setting”, you can set the machine according to the
requirements.
4、How to play multimedia file
Due to only exclusive multimedia files are supported for
various functions, you should enter different function menus to
play different multimedia files.
For example, you can only play video files in “video” menu,
which means, during entering this menu; you may only see the
video files, like rmvb, rm, avi, mpg, mpeg, vob, and dat files.
At this moment, you can not see non-video files and play
audio files or pictures or other non-video files.

During your first use, system will automatically establish
folders in the root directory of the first hard disk directory of
PMP MV5920.The path and function definition of each folder
are as showed above. We suggest you, during the use, do not
alternate the path and name of such folders, and it's only
needed to put files into the corresponding folders.If you place
these files into other folders, you can enter the foler you saved
the files in to open the files via the “file” menu in the main
interface of PMP MV5920.
6、AV OUT function for TV
This product is equipped with AV OUT function for TV,
splendid programmes can be shared with families or friends
via TV, and the operations are as follows:
1) Complete wiring between this product
and TV with attached AV cords
according to the figure.Via the conneting
cord of headset (AV/OUT cable),
connect the single terminal of AV/OUT
cable to the headseat port, and

respectively connect another terminal (with three RCA
cables) to Video/IN (yellow), Audio L/IN (white), Audio
R/IN (red) of the external equipment.
2) Turn on your TV, and switch it to AV video.
3) Press TV/LCD button in the main interface, the image
will be switched from the built-in screen to the TV
screen.At this moment, the screen of this product itself
will not display the image.Via the button of this product,
you can operate the programmes on the TV and enjoy
them.
Warm tip: The different colors of AV cables (three RCA
cabled) repectively represent:
Yellow: Video signal; White: Left audio track; Red: Right
audio track.
7、Recharge of battery
Open the backcover, place the battery into battery jar,
beware of the positive and negative poles, and do not reverse
them.Plug in one terminal of the power adapter to a 220V AC
power socket, and plug in another terminal to power
outlet.When battery is in the state of recharge, the red power
indicating lamp will light.When the red indicating lamp goes out,
the battery is fully recharged. (4 hours are needed to attain a
full recharge in the state of shut down).Battery is both available
to be recharged in the state of start up and shut down.
8、Connect to PC
Connect the bigger head terminal of USB2.0 cable to USB
interface and connect the smaller head terminal of it to the

USB2.0 port of this product, then the hard disk partition can be
displayed in the PC which means this machine can be used as
a mobile harddisk at this moment.What is needed to pay
attention is, during connecting this machine to PC, the machine
must be in the state of start up.When PC operation system is
Windows 2000/XP/VISTA, PC is not required to be installed with
any drive for use, and the PMP main menu will display “PC
connected" after being successfully connected to PC, which is showed
as follows:
Attention: For being disconnected to PC, please pull out
the USB calbe after implementing a normal ejection
procedure, otherwise, a incorrect operation may result in
the error or loss of data in the hard disk.
9、Connect to USB
Connect the bigger head terminal of the attached USB-OTG
to USB and connect the bigger head terminal of it to the
USB2.0 port of this product. Then, enter "file” in the main menu,
you may see a “USB1” directory, this directory is the USB

directory.What is needed to pay attention is, during
connecting this machine to USB, the machine must be in the
state of start up.
Two. System settings
During first use, we suggest you enter “setting” firstly and
conduct settings and adjustments on this machine.
Adjust setting value
Enter “main menu” to select “setting” function, and press
“confirm” to enter “setting” function menu.

1、Selection of language setting
Set the system to select the display effect during operating
this product.
1）Press “upward/downward" button to select “language”
and press “OK” to enter.
2）Press “upward/downward” again to select language
type of system: ENGLISH/SIMPLIFIED CHINESE.
2、Selection of time and date setting
Time and date: enter “setting” and press
“upward/downward” directional button to select “time and
date”, and then press “OK” to enter.
1) A “year/month/date/hour/minute/second” setting
is provided for time setting.
2) Press “upward/downward” button to select
“year/month/date/hour/minute/second”, then, press
“left/right” to adjust setting values.
3) Repeat step 1-3 to finish time setting.
4) After finishing settings, press “EXIT” and save the
