Turning on/off:
MakesureyourMP3playerisfullychargedbeforeturningiton.
• ToturnthePlayeron,slideandholdthe[POWER]switchtothe
rightuntilthedisplayturnson.
• Toturntheplayeroff,slideandholdthe[POWER]switchtothe
rightuntilthedisplayturnsoff.
Lock/unlock function:
TheLockfunctionpreventsyoufromaccidentallypressingthebuttons
whileusingyourplayer.
• Slidethepowerswitchtothelefttolocktheplayerorrightto
unlock.
Adjusting the volume:
• Toincreasethevolume,pressthe[+]key.
• Todecreasethevolume,pressthe[–]key.
Resetting the Player:
IftheMP3Playermalfunctions,youcanusetheResetfunctiontorestartit.
• ToresetthePlayer,takeametalpin(suchastheendofapaperclip),
andpushitintotheRESETholetorestartthePlayer.
Basic controls In a Menu/List:

Viewing Music/Video/Picture:

Basic Operation

Disconnecting the USB cable:
1. Open the “Safe Device Removal” icon in the task bar, on the
lower right corner of the screen.
2. Select “USB Device” and click “Stop.”
3. When the notication that “It is now safe to disconnect your
device,” disconnect the USB cable from your computer.
Important: to avoid any data loss, always perform a safe USB device
extraction before disconnecting the USB cable.

PCconnection:
InordertoenjoythemultimediacapabilitiesofyourMP3Player,you
havetofirstcopyfilesfromyourPCtoitsinternalmemory.
ConnectyourMP3PlayertothecomputerusingtheincludedUSB2.0
cable.Thedevicewillbedetectedautomaticallywithoutinstallingany
driver.Oncedetected,youcanread/writetothedevice’smemoryjust
asifyouwereusingaregulardiskdrive.
Makesureyourcomputerispoweredon,andfollowthestepsbelow
toconnecttheplayertoyourcomputer.
1. PlugthelargerUSBconnectoroftheUSBcableintotheUSBport
onthecomputer.
2.Plugtheotherend(small)oftheUSBcabletotheplayer.
3.Thecomputersystemdetects“Newhardware”andstartstoinstall
thedriverautomatically.Waitforthesystemtofinishtheinstallation.
Whenithasfinished,“MP3”willbecreatedin“MyComputer”.
Connecting to a computer

TheplayersupportsMiniSDcards(notincluded),whichallowyouto
addupto8GBofadditionalmemorytoyourMP3Player.
ToinserttheMiniSDcard:
1. InserttheMiniSDcardintothecardslotatthebottomofyour
player,withthewiththemetalcontactsfacingtowardstheback
oftheplayer,andgentlypushitinuntilitclicks.Donotapply
excessiveforce,asthismaydamageyourMP3PlayerandMini
SD card.
2. ToviewfilesonyourMiniSDcard,touch“Music”,fromthemain
menuandthen“Browser”>“CardDir”
3. ToremovetheMiniSDcard,gentlypushitinuntilitpopsout.
Important:
• DonotuseforcewhileinsertingorremovingtheMiniSDcard.
• Donotremovethecardduringletransfers.
• Makesuretheplayeristurnedoffbeforeinsertingortaking
outthecard.
Mini SD card
YourMP3PlayerhasanintegratedrechargeableLi-ionbattery.Itis
recommendedtofullychargetheplayerbeforeusingitforthefirst
time.Rechargethebatterybyconnectingtheplayertoacomputer
usingtheincludedUSB2.0cable.Chargingtimeisbetween3-5
hours,dependingiftheplayerispoweredofforworking.To keepthe
batteryingoodcondition,werecommendnotchargingitformore
than 8 hours.
Important:
• Fullychargetheplayerbeforeusingitforthefirsttime
• Chargetheplayerimmediatelywhenthe“LowBattery”message
is displayed
• Donotoverchargeorcompletelydrainthebattery.Overcharingor
completelydrainingthebatterywillshortenbatterylife.
• Thebatterycanbedrainediftheplayerisnotusedforalong
time.To avoiddrainingthebattery,fullychargetheplayereverythree
months,andalwayskeepthebatterychargeabove50%.
Charging the battery

YourMP3Playeriscapableofstoringandplayingyourfavoritemusic,
photosandvideo.
Totransfermediafromyourcomputer:
1. ConnectyourMP3Playertoyourcomputerusingtheincluded
USB cable.
2. Open“WindowsExplorer”or“MyComputer,”andlocate“MP3.”
3. Draganddrop,orcopyandpasteyourmediafilesinto“MP3.”
Whenyouaredone,disconnectyourMP3Playerfromthecomputer
usingthe“SafeDeviceRemoval”utilityinthetaskbar.
Important:
donotdisconnecttheUSBcablewhentransferringles,asdoing
somaydamageyourMP3Playerandyourles.

Windows Media Player allows you to organize your media collection,
as well as create digital music les from your CDs. If Windows Media
Player is not installed on your computer, you can get the latest version
by going to
www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/
GettingmusicfromyourCDsontoyourcomputer:
Yo u canuseWindowsMediaPlayertocopy,or“Rip”,musicfrom
your audio CDs.
1. OpenWindowsMediaPlayer.
2. Clickonthe“Rip”tab.
3. InsertamusicCDintoyourcomputer’sCDdrive.
4. ClickthecheckboxestoselectwhichtrackstoRip.
5. Click“StartRip.”
Using Windows Media Player
Clickthe“Rip”tab.
Click“StartRip”

WindowsMediaPlayergivesyouaneasywaytoadd,or“Sync,”
musictoyourMP3Player.
1. OpenWindowsMediaPlayer.

BeforetransferringvideofilestotheMP3Player,youmustconvert
themtothecorrectformat.UsetheVideoConverterprovidedonthe
includedCDtoconvertmostvideofilestothecorrectformatsuitable
forthePlayer.
ToinstalltheVideoConverter:
1. InserttheCDintotheCDdriveofyour
computer.
2. Clickon“VideoConverter”onthescreen
that opens.
3. Click“Install”andthen“Next.”
4. Follow the installation instructions.
5. Click“Close”whentheinstallationiscomplete.
Using the Video Converter

4. Click on “Output File” to select the destination for the converted
video. You can send it directly to the MP3 Player by selecting
MP3 > Video and clicking “OK,” or if you would like to save the
video to your computer, we recommend sending it to your Desktop
where you can easily nd and transfer the video to the Player.
Converting videos:
1. Connect the MP3 Player to the USB port of your
computer (optional).
2. Click on the icon on your Desktop.
3. Click on “Input File” and select a video to convert.

MP3 Player.
Note: your MP3 Player must be connected

videototheDesktopofyourcomputer.After
savingtheconvertedvideotoyourdesktop,
youcantransferitdirectlytoyouPlayer.

6. Clickonthe“Convert”buttontobegintheconversion.When
complete,theconvertedvideowilleitherbeonyourMP3Player,
ortheselectedOutputFilelocationonyourcomputerwhereyou
caneasilytransferittotheplayer.
5. Clickonthevideofileandtheonthe“Settings”button.Confirm
thatthescreenwidthandheightaresetto320x240,andclick
“OK.”
