DESCRIPTION:
The KBW-M Video Modulator allows a
standard color camera to be used with the KB
series video entry system. Use video door
stations at entry areas, then connect a camera
to view a wider area from the Aiphone
monitor. Each CCTV camera requires one
KBW-M. View picture by pressing MONITOR
button repeatedly, cycling through each video
door station and camera.

KBW-M FEATURES:
•Modulates color video from composite to 2-wire
•Allows CCTV camera to be viewed on Aiphone
monitor
•Can be installed up to 650’ away from KB-3MRD
main monitor and wired with Aiphone 871802
2 conductor wire
• Standard motion detector can be used to
activate the camera automatically
•Small, easily installed and concealed
•BNC connector for CCTV camera

Video Input: Composite video, 1V peak-to-peak
Video Connector: BNC
Video Output: 2-wire to KB-3MRD. Use Aiphone wire #871802
Video Monitoring: 30 seconds, controlled by KB-3MRD
Camera Activation: Press MONITOR button to activate camera 1, 2, 3, sequentially
Wiring Distance: KBW-M to KB-3MRD:
650’ Aiphone wire #871802, Atlas 202-18-1-2J, or West Penn D990
KB-3MRD to farthest KB-3HRD:
330’ with West Penn Wire D990 or Atlas 202-18-1-2J
*Distance cannot be guaranteed with any other type of wire
Mounting: Surface mount to wall with supplied brackets
