WARNING
Negligence could result in death or serious injury.
1. Do not dismantle or alter the unit. Fire or electric
shock could result.
2. Do not connect any non-specified power source to
the +, - terminals. Also, do not install two power supplies in
parallel to a single input. Fire or damage to the unit could
result.
3. Keep the unit away from water or any other liquid.
Fire or electric shock could result.
4. Do not put any metal or flammable material into the
unit through the openings. Fire, electric shock, or unit
trouble could result.
5. Do not connect any terminal on the unit to an AC
power line. Fire or electric shock could result.
6. Do not use power supply with a voltage other than
specified. Fire or electric shock could result.
7. Keep AC cord from being marred or crushed. If the
AC cord is damaged, fi re or electric shock could result.
8. Do not plug or unplug unit with wet hands. Electric
shock could result.
9. Insert AC plug completely and securely into AC
outlet.
Otherwise, fi re or electric shock could result.
10. Periodically check for and remove dust on the
power plug. If dust is left, it could cause the power plug to
heat up, resulting in fire.
11. Do not put any metal or flammable material into
the unit through the openings. Fire, electric shock, or unit
trouble could result.
CAUTION
Negligence could result in injury or damage to
property.
1. Do not install or make any wire terminations while
power supply is plugged in. It can cause electrical shock or
damage to the unit.
2. When mounting the unit on a wall, install the unit in a
convenient location, but not where it could be jarred or
bumped. Injury could result.
3. Before turning on power, make sure wires are not
crossed or shorted. Fire or electric shock could result.
4. Do not install the unit in locations subject to frequent
vibration or impact. It may fall or tip over, resulting in
damage to the unit or personal injury
5. For power supply, use Aiphone power supply model
specified for use with system. If non-specified product is
used, fi re or malfunction could result.
6. Do not apply high pressure on the screen. If
fractured, injury could result.
7. If LCD is punctured, do not touch the liquid crystal
inside. Inflammation could result. If contact should occur,
flush or rinse area with water thoroughly and consult your
doctor.
8. Do not put anything on the unit or cover the unit with
cloth, etc. Fire or unit trouble could result.
9. Do not install the unit in any of the following
locations. Fire, electric shock, or unit trouble could result.
* Places under direct sunlight or near heating equipment
that varies in temperature.
* Places subject to dust, oil, chemicals, hydrogen sulphide
(hot spring).
* Places subject to moisture and humidity extremes, such
as bathrooms, cellars, greenhouses, etc.
* Places where the temperature is quite low, such as inside
a refrigerated area or in front of an air conditioner.
* Places subject to steam or smoke (near heating or
cooking surfaces).
* Where noise generating devices such as dimmer
switches or inverter electrical appliances are close by.
10. Be sure to perform a call test or check the volume
with the handset on the hook. If you operate the hook
switch with the handset on your ear, a sudden call etc.
may arrive causing damage to your ear.
11. The unit must be installed and wired by a qualified
technician.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
1. Keep the unit more than 1 m (3.3') away from radio or
TV sets.
2. Keep the intercom wires more than 30cm (12'') away
from AC 100-240V wiring. AC induced noise and/or unit
malfunction could result.
3. Comply with all third party manufacturing specifications
that will be used with this system (sensors, door releases,
etc.).
4. If it is used close to a cellular phone, the unit may
malfunction.
5. The unit can be damaged if dropped. Handle with care.
6. The unit will not work during power failure.
7. In areas where broadcasting station antennas are close
by, the intercom system may be affected by radio
frequency interference.
8. All the units, except for door stations, are designed for
indoor use only. Do not use at outdoor locations.
9. This product, providing door release, should not be used
as a crime prevention device.
10. Please note the LCD panel, though manufactured with
very high precision techniques, inevitably will have a very
small portion of its image elements always lit or not lit at
all. This is not considered a unit malfunction.
11. Environmental sound around the unit may hinder
smooth communication, but this is not a malfunction.
12. The unit has audio monitoring function between
residential stations. When using this function for baby
monitoring, never install the unit within reach of children to
prevent strangulation with coil cord or wires.

malfunctions, problems, or operational errors in this

INSTALLATION
Location for mounting
JPTLIIPA interface can be:
- placed on a furniture
or - fixed on the wall: to do this action, it must be fixed with 2 crews with plugs adapted of the
supporting material.
Don’t install JPTLIIPA near heating equipment that varies in temperature and near subject to
moisture and humidity extremes.

JPTLIIPA interface allow audio and video call transfer from the AIPHONE JP series door station to 2
smartphones with Androïd or Apple software.
ATTENTION!
To get an audio or video good reception, your smartphone must receive phone calls by WIFI or
3G/4G (3G minimum) mode. In case of bad reception, picture will be quality less. If the network
is not cover by 3G/4G, you will receive only audio call from the door station.
Interface is a plastic black box with the following dimensions 240 x 180 x 55 (h) mm
This interface has to be connected to your internet network and to your JP video kit.
JPTLIIPA interface has to be connected to the 230 V / 12V power supply (included) respecting the
polarities.

USING THE SYSTEM

The JPTLIIPA must connect to a modem or to a private box.
When a call is placed on the Door Station, the image from this one appear on the video station and
send automatically the video onto 2 Smartphone. Without answer with the Smartphone, the JPTLIIPA
goes back into Stand-by mode into the next call.
1 –BASIC USER OPERATION
Few functioning parameter are available and can be set following the customer needs. For that, some
options can be program (see Installation Manual §4).
1.1 VISITOR CALL
When the door Button is push, the call is send onto 2 Smartphone throw your interface and your
private box (or modem).
If one of the 2 Smartphone answer, the communication is establish between you and the visitor.
You are inform that you are in communication mode by a screen change on your smartphone.
You can choose the “Door opening” function by choosing the “Key” Symbol.
For open the door, you must choose between 3 Door relay onto a confirmation screen:
-Contact#1 with the 1st « Key » symbol
-Contact#2 with the 2nd « Key » symbol
-Optional Relay with « Activate option » for using the JPTLIIPA Relay
The communication is stopped when press the « end communication » Button or when the
communication timer is over (3 minutes).
If no Smartphone answer after a delay of 50sec or if they are already in communication, the
interface goes into Stand-By Mode until a next call.
1.2 MODE SELECTION
Mode « OFF »
The selector is on ‘OFF’.
In this mode, if the visitor presses the Call-button, only JP4MED is ringing.

DEFAUTS
VERIFICATIONS
The JPTLIIPA Status Led don’t turn ON
- Check the Power Adaptor is well plugged
The call activate to the JP4MED but not
activate the JPTLIIPA Interface
- Check the selector is on « ON » Position
- Check the connection on the « LAN » Connector
- Check that wire is well plug on the modem or on
the private box
- Check the smartphone has been registered
- Check the « AiphoneJP » application is launch
- Check the Status Led is blinking 1 time each
seconds (if not, please contact your installer).

During the conversation, you can :
- Activate or deactivate the smartphone speaker with . The
symbol below become red: the speaker is deactivate.
- Activate or deactivate the micro (private mode) with . The
symbol below become red: the micro is deactivate.
- Activate or deactivate the video with . The symbol below
become red: the video is deactivate.
