Step 1
Remove Velcro lined insulation
around the Pressure Independent
Control Valve to access binder
points .
Step 2
Using the binder points , measure the
differential pressure across the valve .
If the measured differential pressure is
higher than the start-up pressure (>20kPa),
the valve is keeping the ow stable at the
preset value.

Always use the electrical connection tool when inserting/removing temperature sensors
and commissioning plugs to reduce the risk of damage to the retaining clip.
The commissioning plugs are used to force actuator operation.

water side balancing, must be completed by others before Airedale or other third party Siemens Solution
Partners congure the Artus(s) for master/slave operation, room operator units, BMS integration etc.
The serial number shown on the barcode on the inside of the lid must be recorded along with installed
location prior to arranging network setup.
