To maintain good performance
●Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or
humid.
In particular, do not keep the unit:
●in ahigh humidity area such as abathroom
●near aheater
●in an area exposed to direct sunlight (inside aparked car, where
there could be a considerable rise in temperature)
●Do not open the battery compartment with wet hands.
●Wipe the unit throughly before inserting batteries.
●Do not soak the unit in water.
Note
●Wipe the unit throughly with adry cloth after use.
Note on listening with the headphones
●Listen at moderate volumes to avoid hearing damage. ”
●To ensure safety, do not wear the headphones while driving or
cycling.
●Do not listen at ahigh volume while walking, especially at pedestrian
crossings.
●Wear them properly: Lis left, Ris right.

Install the belt clip to your belt and wear it.

Attach the strap to the unit and wear it.
PRECAUCIONES
Para mantener sus buenas prestaciones
●No utilice el aparato en lugares muy calientes, fries, con POIVOo
humedad.
Especialmente, no debe dejar el aparato:

estacionado, donde puede aumentar mucho la temperature)
●No abra el compartimiento de Ias pilas con Ias manes mojadas.
●Limpie el aparato completamente antes de colocar Ias pilas.
●No moje el aparato con agua.

●Limpie et aparato completamente con un pafio seco despw% de
utilizar.
Notas para escuchar con Ios cascos auriculares
●Escuche a un volumen no muy alto para no dafiar sus ofdos.
●Para su seguridad, no utilice Ios cascos auriculares durante la
conducci6n ocuando anda en bicicleta.
●No escuche a un volumen alto mientras camina, especialmente al
cruzar la cane.
●Utilicelos correctamente: Les izquierdo yRes derecho.

PRECAUTIONS
Pour maintenir de bonnes performances
●Ne pas utiliser cet appareil Aun emplacement tres chaud, froid,
poussi&eux ou humide. En particulier, ne pas Ie conserver:
●Aun endroit trbs humide, par exemple une sane de bains
●prbs d’un appareil de chauffage
●Aun endroit en plein soleil (clans une voiture garde, oh la
temperature peut considdrablement augmenter, par exemple)
●N’ouvrez pas Ie Iogement des piles avec des mains mouil16es.
●Essuyez compl&ement I’appareil avant d’ins&er Ies piles.
●Ne trempez pas I’appareil clans I’eau.

Remarques concernant I’ecoute avec des ecouteurs
●Ecouter Aun volume sonore moderd pour eviter tout dommage
auditif.
●Par mesure de sdcurite, ne pas porter des ecouteurs quand on
conduit une voiture ni abicyclette.
●Ne pas ecouter ~un volume dleve en marchant, surtour sur Ies
passages clout6s.
QMettre correctement Ies 6couteurs: Lpour la gauche, et Rpour la
droite.

Fixer I’agrafe de ceinture ~la ceinture et la porter.
Pour enlever I’agrafe de ceinture +❑
Utilisation de la dragonne +❑
Fixer la dragonne AI’appareil et la porter.
TO INSERT ADRY CELL BATTERY +❑
Insert asize AA (R6) battery with the C) and 0 marks properly
aligned.
●Confirm the cover of the battery compartment is attached to the unit
completely.

Battery replacement
Replace the battery when the sound becomes distorted.

●Make sure that the C) and 0 marks are correctly aligned.
●Never recharge the batteries, apply heat to them or take them apart.
●When not using the batteries, remove them to prevent needless wear.
●If liquid leaks from the batteries, wipe thoroughly to remove.
RADIO RECEPTION +❑
1Connect the supplied headphones to the ~jack.
2Select AM or FM STEREO.
3Turn the TUNING control to tune in to astation.
4Adjust the volume.
After listening, set the power switch to POWER OFF.
To obtain powerful heavy bass
Press SUPER BASS button to emphasize the low frequencies.
For better reception +E
FM: The headphone cord functions as the FM antenna. Keep it
extended.
AM: Turn the unit to find the position which gives the best reception.
MAINTENANCE
To clean the cabinet
Use asoft cloth lightly moistened with amild detergent solution.
Do not use the strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine or cleaner.
