IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
1. The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
2. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
3. To reduce the risk of electric shock of injury to persons, make sure unit is switch
to “o” position and unplugged from electrical outlet before cleaning.
4. Do not leave the fan running unattended.
5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION:
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:
1. Never insert ngers, pencils or any other object through the grille when fan is
running.
2. Disconnect fan when moving from one location another.
3. Disconnect fan when removing grilles for cleaning.
4. Be sure fan is on a stable, even surface when operating to avoid overturning.
5. DO NOT use fan in window. Rain may create an electrical hazard. Do not leave
the fan operating adjacent to an area where water has been collected to avoid
the potential of electrical hazard.
6. Do not leave the appliance running or operable in a place where young
children could have access to without supervision.
INTRODUCTION:
The Stand Fan features three speeds, a swivel action head giving a smooth oscilla-
tion action along with low noise levels, low electrical usage, reliability with safety,
while still providing ecient air ow.
OPERATION
The power switch is incorporated in the speed control switch on the top of the fan.
0- The Fan is switched O
1- The Fan operates at the lowest speed
2- The Fan operates at the medium speed
3- The Fan operates at the highest speed

knob, adjust the fan to the desired angle, to secure tighten the adjusting knob.

ASSEMBLY:
If your fan comes ready assembled
ignore this part.
1After removing everything from
the carton, locate the motor unit
(item8)andseparatethefrontguard
(item 2) and back guard (item 5) if they
are connected.
2Locate the rear guard (item 5) and
align with 4 protruding indents on
themotorunit(item8).Thesafety
grille will only t one way over the
pro-truding intents with the handle
facing up. insert 4 locking screws (item 4)
and tighten to secure the rear guard to the motor unit.

3Locate the fan blades (item 3) and align the centre of the blades over the metal spindle
protruding from the motor unit. The intent on the metal spindle aligns with the locking
screw on the fan blades. After the blade has been put on, tighten the locking screw on
the fan blades and ensure that the blades is secured to the motor unit.
4Align the front guard to the rear guard and lock into place with 3 locking tabs
that are located on the guard. Locate the security nut and bolt (item 1) and secure
the front and rear guards together with security nut and bolt. This is a safety
precaution to prevent the accidental dismantling of the fan.
5Locate the pedestal base of the fan(item 13). Insert the base of the stand (item
10) into the pedestal base,then fasten the base (item12,13) and the pole with the
screws provided.
6Undo the thumbscrew at the top of the stand(item 10) and align the motor unit
complete with guards before fastening.
THERMAL CUT-OUT DEVICE
A Thermal protector device was mounted in the motor. When overheats due to
various reasons, the temperature of the motor reaches the fusing point, it will cut
o automatically, make the fan safe eciently. When the protector is fused, the fan
should be eliminated trouble and replace a new thermal protector before the fan is
used again.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be sure to unplug the fan from electrical supply source before cleaning.
2. Plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.
Thoroughly remove soap lm with clean water.
3. To disassemble each part, reverse the order of assembly.
