Connector Overview

Keyboard Overview

Android Operation
Your H6 will arrive with Android 4.0.4 preloaded.
Please connect the AC Power adapter once unpacking the H6 for the first
time.
The power button is located at the top-right of the keyboard.
To see charging progress when off, tap this button.
To power the netbook up, hold this button for 3 seconds.
Once loaded you will be presented with the Android lock screen. Press
the touchpad button on the right to unlock the screen, or click the
padlock icon with the left button and drag it to the unlock icon on the
right of the screen.

Android Desktop
The bottom-left of the screen contains navigation operations (Back,
Home, Windows, Volume, and Menu)
The bottom-right of the screen contains status information. Clicking this
and dragging it up will open a tray with additional information and an
icon to quickly access settings.
The top-left of the screen has a magnifying glass icon for searching.
The top-right of the screen has a menu icon which opens a selection of
available apps and widgets. Pages can be navigated by dragging with the
mouse cursor or by pressing Fn Up or Fn Down on the keyboard.
To install apps click the menu icon in the top right and click “Play Store”. A
one-time account setup will be required.

Switching Operating Systems
Switching from or to the SD card requires a hard poweroff of the netbook
by holding the Power button at the top-right of the keyboard for a full 10
seconds.
The H6 will be hard powered off when all LED lights on the bottom-left of
the keyboard area are off.
For Android ensure the SD card is not inserted and press the power
button for 3 seconds.
For Debian ensure the SD card is inserted and press the power button for
3 seconds.

Debian Operation
Insert the SD card while the netbook is hard powered off and press the
power button for 3 seconds.
You will be presented with a LightDM login screen.
The default account credentials are:
Username: aki
Password: aki
Once logged in LXDE will load.

(Debian) LXDE Desktop
The bottom-left of the screen contains the launcher menu and various
convenience launchers.
The bottom-right of the screen contains (in order):
•CPU utilization
•Power status/Brightness and power management controls
•Audio mixer
•Wi-Fi status/Network controls
•Time/Calendar
•Screen lock
•Logout
To connect to a wireless network click the Wi-Fi status and select an
access point.

(Debian) Desktop Operation
Applications can be found by clicking the LXDE icon in the very
bottom-left of the screen and navigating the presented menus.
Applications can be added or removed using the
Synaptic Package
Manager
found in the
Preferences
submenu.
Display brightness and power-profile can be accessed by right-clicking
the battery icon.
The display can be manually turned on and off by tapping the power
button on the top-right corner of the keyboard.

Warranty Information
This H6 is backed by a 1-year warranty by Aki Electronics which includes
component or charger failure.
Any abnormalities caused by hardware modification, installed software,
adverse usage, inflicted damage, or otherwise operator neglect can still
be addressed by the Aki Electronics repair service in most cases, but will
incur repair and shipping charges.
