zunächst möchten wir Ihnen zum Erwerb Ihres Gerätes gratulieren.
Bitte lesen Sie die folgenden Anschluss- und Anwendungshinweise sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie die-
se um möglichen technischen Schäden vorzubeugen.
Warnung / Sicherheitshinweise
• Ein sicherer und eektiver Gebrauch des Gerätes kann nur erzielt werden, wenn das Gerät ordnungs-
gemäß aufgebaut, gepegt und benutzt wird. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sämtliche Personen, die dieses
Gerät nutzen, über die Warnungen und Sicherheitshinweise informiert sind.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränk-
ten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels
Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person
beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. Kinder sollten be-
aufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Die Sicherheit des Gerätes kann nur gewährleistet werden, wenn das Gerät regelmäßig gepegt und

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen Tuch.
• Bewahren Sie kleine Objekte (z.B. Schrauben und anderes Montagematerial, Speicherkarten) und
Verpackungsteile außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf, damit sie nicht von diesen verschluckt
werden können. Lassen Sie kleine Kinder nicht mit Folie spielen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
ACHTUNG:
• Nutzen Sie keine Öle oder Lotion für Hände und Körper, bevor Sie an der Pole trainieren. Dies ist ge-
fährlich - Sie oder jemand anderes könnte abrutschen!
• Die Pole darf nicht unter Trockenbau-, Zwischen- oder halbfesten Decken aufgestellt werden. Denken
Sie daran, dass auch Art und Beschaenheit des Bodens die Stabilität beeinussen.
• Die Pole ist schwer und - wenn vollständig ausgezogen - nicht einfach zu halten. Der Aufbau muss
durch mindestens zwei Personen erfolgen.

Aufbau
Methode 1
Schraublose Montage
Sie benötigen: Leiter, Stift, Maßband, Maulschlüssel, ggf Balkennder
Schritt 1:
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Decke aus Beton oder ähnlichem stabilen Material besteht. Bei einer
Betondecke können Sie die Pole beliebig platzieren. Bei Fachwerk- oder Gips-Decken muss die Pole
unter einem Deckenbalken montiert werden.
• Konsultieren Sie einen qualizierten Handwerker oder Bauarbeiter, falls Sie unsicher sind.
Schritt 2: Messen Sie die Deckenhöhe aus.
Schritt 3:
• Bringen Sie die Deckenplatte am oberen Rohr an, so dass die Pins „klicken“ und einrasten.
• Verbinden Sie die Bodenplatte am unteren Rohr, so dass das Gewinde am niedrigsten Niveau bleibt.
• Drücken Sie das dickere Ende des mittleren Rohrs in das dünnere Ende des unteren Rohrs.
• Befestigen Sie dann das weite Ende des oberen Rohrs am kleineren Ende des mittleren Rohrs.
• Schrauben Sie nun das obere Rohr auseinander, so dass der Höhen-Anzeiger sichtbar wird und die
Deckenhöhe anzeigt.
• Bitten Sie eine weitere Person, die Pole in aufrechter Position festzuhalten.
• An der Unterseite des Gewindes sind zwei ache Flächen zwischen den zwei Muttern. Setzen Sie hier
einen Maulschlüssel an und drehen Sie im Uhrzeigersinn, so dass das Gewinde sich „verlängert“, bis
die Stange zwischen Decke und Boden eingespannt ist.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Stange wirklich genau lotrecht steht - sonst verlagern Sie die Position
der Bodenplatte geringfügig.
Schritt 4: Wenn die Pole gerade steht, setzen Sie erneut den Maulschlüssel an und drehen Sie so lang
weiter, bis die Angabe auf dem Gewinde ihrer Deckenhöhe entspricht.
Schritt 5: Ziehen Sie die beiden Muttern an beiden Seiten des Gewindes fest an.
Schritt 6: Setzen Sie der Pole ein wenig zu (lehnen Sie sich an oder ziehen sie seitwärts). Verschiebt
sich die Bodenplatte, lösen Sie die Muttern wieder ein wenig und verlängern Sie das Gewinde durch Im-
Uhrzeigersinn-Drehen mit dem Maulschlüssel. Ziehen Sie die Muttern dann wieder fest an. Stellen Sie
unbedingt sicher, dass die Pole weiterhin lotrecht steht.
Schritt 7: Greifen Sie den obersten Teil der Pole und beschweren Sie sie nach und nach mit höherem
Gewicht, bis Ihr Körper vollständig an der Pole hängt. Ist die Pole weiterhin beweglich, muss sie weiter
auseinandergeschraubt werden (siehe Schritt 6).

Methode 2
Festmontage
Sie benötigen: Leiter/Stift/Maßband/Maulschlüssel/Schraubenzieher
Schritt 1: Messen Sie die Deckenhöhe aus.
Schritt 2: Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Decke aus Beton oder ähnlichem stabilen Material besteht. Bei
einer Betondecke können Sie die Pole beliebig platzieren. Bei Fachwerk- oder Gips-Decken muss die Pole
unter einem Deckenbalken montiert werden. Nutzen Sie die Deckenplatte zum Markieren der Bohrlöcher
und montieren Sie diese dann mit geeigneten Dübeln und Schrauben an der Decke. Konsultieren Sie ei-
nen qualizierten Handwerker oder Bauarbeiter, falls Sie unsicher sind.
Schritt 3:
• Verbinden Sie die Bodenplatte am unteren Rohr, so dass das Gewinde am niedrigsten Niveau bleibt.
• Drücken Sie das dickere Ende des mittleren Rohrs in das dünnere Ende des unteren Rohrs.
• Befestigen Sie dann das weite Ende des oberen Rohrs am kleineren Ende des mittleren Rohrs.
• Schrauben Sie nun das obere Rohr auseinander, so dass der Höhen-Anzeiger sichtbar wird und die
Deckenhöhe anzeigt.
• Bitten Sie eine weitere Person, die Pole in aufrechter Position festzuhalten.
• Schieben Sie die obere Stange nun in die gesicherte Deckenplatte, so dass die Pins einrasten.
Schritt 4: Achten Sie darauf, dass die Pole lotrecht steht. Verfahren Sie nach Schritten 4-7 auf Seite 3.

General Safety Notice
• Do not use the appliance for other than intended use. This appliance has been designed solely for
domestic use; the manufacturer‘s liability shall not be engaged in the event of any professional use,
by any misuse or by any use not complying with the operating instructions.
• Make sure before installation that the item works properly and that all safety devices are in function!
• The installation must always be made only by adults.
• In part, the package may consist of plastic bags - make this regard with particular care and attention
that this is not out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suocation! Let children or people with
physical or mental limitations, or people who are not familiar with this device, do not use this.
• Keep small objects (i.e. screws, mounting material, memory cards etc.) and packaging out of the
range of children. Do not let Children play with foil. Choking hazard!
• Do not use any volatile liquids, detergents or the like. Use a clean dry cloth.
•
ATTENTION:
• NEVER use oils and/or lotion on your hands or body prior to using your pole. This is very DANGE-
ROUS. The oil can transfer onto the pole making it slippery and impossible to hold and this could
cause you or someone using the pole after you to have a serious accident.
• The dance pole SHOULD NOT be installed under false, suspended or non-rigid ceilings. When se-
arching for joists please use a step ladder and have a second person holding the ladder providing
additional assistance
• When assembled, the Dance Pole is heavy and at full height, NOT easy to handle. It is therefore MAN-
DATORY/COMPULSORY that 2 people install the Dance Pole

Assembly
Method 1
Putting up your dance pole without screwing it into the ceiling
You may need: Stepladder/Stud Finder/Pencil/Tape Measure/Spanner/
STEP 1
• Make sure you have a concrete or plasterboard ceiling. Ask the opinion of a qualied builder or han-
dyman if you are not sure.
• If you have a concrete ceiling, you can position your dance pole wherever you want.
• If you have a plasterboard ceiling, the dance pole must be positioned under a ceiling joist. A ceiling
joist is a wooden beam that runs underneath the plasterboard. We recommend you use a stud nder
to locate the joist(these are available from most DIY stores). Follow the instructions that accompany
the stud nder until you are sure you’ve found a ceiling joist, then mark it with a pencil. If unsure,
consult a qualied builder/handyman.
STEP 2: Measure the height form oor to ceiling.
STEP 3
• Connect the ceiling plate to the top rod, making sure the pushpins click into the position.
• Connect the base plate into the bottom rod by slotting them together, making sure that the screwth-
read is at its lowest level.
• Squeeze the fat end of the middle rod down into the skinny end of the bottom rod.
• Attach the wide end of the top rod onto the small end of the middle rod.
• Unscrew and extend the top rod so that the height indicator displays your ceiling height.
• Ask a friend to hold the dance pole in an upright position between the oor and the ceiling. Remember
that you must position the ceiling plate under a ceiling joist if you have a plasterboard ceiling. Mark
a position spot with your pencil.
• At the bottom of the screwthread locate the two at points between the two nuts.
• Engage the enclosed spanner with the at points and turn it gently clockwise so that the screwthread
lengthens. Continue turning until the base of the dance pole is on the oor.
• While your friend holding the dance pole, step back and ensure it’s perfectly upright. Adjust the po-
sition of the base of the pole until it is achieved.
STEP 4: Engage the enclosed spanner with the at points on the screwthread again and turn it clockwise
so that the screwthread lengthens further. Continue turning until the measurement on the screwthread
corresponds to the height of your ceiling.
STEP 5: Tighten the two nuts at the top and the bottom of the screwthread.
STEP 6: Apply force to the dance pole from the side to check it doesn’t slip from its position. If there is
any slipping movement, loosen the nuts and gently lengthen the screwthread a little further until there
is none. Make sure the dance pole is straight before the nuts are tightened back into place.
STEP 7: Gently grab the uppermost section of the dance pole, and apply successively greater weights
until your entire body weight hangs from this section of the dance pole. If there is any movement, loosen
the bolts and return to lengthening the screwthread, making sure that the dance pole is straight before
re-tightening.

Method 2 Putting up your dance pole by screwing it into the ceiling
You may need: Stepladder/Stud Finder/Pencil/Tape Measure/Spanner/Screwdriver
STEP 1: Measure the height form oor to ceiling.
STEP 2: Ask a builder/handyman to attach the ceiling plate to the ceiling; there are two holes in the
ceiling plate for screws. If you have a plasterboard ceiling, the ceiling plate must be screwed into a joist.
We recommend using a stud nder to do it (they are available at DIY stores). Follow the instructions that
accompany the stud nder until you are sure you’ve found a ceiling joist, then mark it with a pencil. If
unsure, consult a qualied builder/handyman.
STEP 3:
• Connect the base plate into the bottom rod by slotting them together, making sure that the screwth-
read is at its lowest level.
• Squeeze the fat end of the middle rod down into the skinny end of the bottom rod.
• Unscrew and extend the top rod so that the height indicator displays your ceiling height.
• Slot the top rod into the secured ceiling plate ensuring the two pushpins click into place.
STEP 4: Ask a builder/handyman to hold the dance pole in an upright position and continue the exact
above assembly steps except screwing the ceiling.
