General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies the ultralight travel hammock (referred to
below only as the “hammock”). It contains important information for
assembly and use.
Before using the hammock, read the user manual carefully. This particu-
larly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to heed this user manual
may result in severe injury, or damage to the hammock.
The user manual is based on the standards and regulations in force in the European
Union. When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the hammock on to third parties,
please be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the ham-
mock or on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate degree of risk which may lead to
death or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with low risk that, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potential damages
to property.
This symbol provides you with useful additional information regarding
assembly or use.
The maximum weight-loading amounts to 150kg.
Dimensions of the hammock: 275×150cm.

Scope of use
This hammock has been designed as a comfortable and relaxing place for one person
to lie down, and has a maximum weight-loading of 150kg. It is only intended for private
use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the hammock as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed im-
proper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The hammock
is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
Risk of strangulation and suffocation!
If children play with the hammock or the packaging, they could get
caught in it or thus become strangulated and suffocate.
− Do not allow children to play with the packaging wrapper or
the hammock.
− Supervise children close to the hammock.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Incorrect use of the hammock may result in injury.
− Do not exceed the hammock's load bearing capacity of 150 kg.
− Always make sure that only one person is using the hammock
at any one time.
− Do not stand on the hammock.
− Do not jump into the hammock and do not let yourself fall into
in the hammock.

− Do not use the hammock to store books and similar items.
− Do not use the hammock to transport any animals or objects.
− Do not use the hammock as a swing.
− Do not let children use the hammock if they are
not supervised.
− Do not use the hammock as a climbing aid.
− Each time before use, check the hammock and all fastening
elements for damage. Do not use the hammock when the
hammock or individual parts are damaged.
− Do not lie down in the hammock until it has been properly set
up, fixed and secured.
− Set the hammock up only above soft surfaces. If you do so and
fall out of the hammock, you will not be as seriously injured.
− Do not use the hammock during a storm.
− Have qualified professionals perform repairs. Liability and
warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs performed
by the user, or incorrect use.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the hammock may damage the hammock.
− Do not leave the hammock to hang unattended after use.
− Stop using the hammock if it is cracked, torn, or individual
parts are damaged. Only replace damaged individual parts
with corresponding original spare parts.
− Always keep the hammock away from fires and cigarettes.

If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointed objects, the hammock may become damaged.
− Be careful when opening the package.
1. Remove the hammock from the package.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see Fig.A).
3. Check whether the hammock or the individual parts exhibit any damage.
If this is the case, do not use the hammock. Contact the manufacturer at the service
address specified on the warranty card.

CAUTION!

Incorrect use of the hammock may result in injury.
− Only adults must be allowed to set up the hammock.
− Do not lie down in the hammock until it has been properly set up,
fixed and secured.
− Make sure that the surface underneath is as soft as possible.
− Remove pointed and sharp stones and other sharp objects
from the surface underneath the hammock.
− Spread the hammock out so that it is about 2.5 m in length.
Fix and secure the hammock between two sturdy trees. These should
be spaced approx. 3 m apart.
1. Remove the hammock from the protective bag 3.
2. Unfold the hammock and spread it out on the ground.
3. Take a piece of rope, 2double it and lay it down so that both ends of the rope
precisely meet.
4. Make a knot at the top of the ends of the rope (see Fig. D).
5. Wrap the rope twice around a tree (see Fig. E).
6. Pull the knot through the loop and tighten the loop (see Fig. F).
7. Attach one of the carabiner clips 1to the rope (see Fig. G).
8. Repeat steps 3 to 7 with the second support rope and carabiner clips to the tree
opposite.
9. Spread the hammock out so that it is approx. 2.5 m in length. If there is a person in
the hammock, the distance between the hammock and the ground must not be
more than 0.5 m.

Correctly lie down in the hammock, to prevent injuries, and also
damage to the hammock.
− It must always be made sure that the distance between the
hammock and the ground is not more than 0.5 m.
− Spread the hammock out so that it is about 2.5 m in length.
− Do not lie down in the hammock until it has been properly set
up, fixed and secured.
− Each time before use, check the hammock and all fastening
elements for stability, damage, and wear and tear. Do not
use the hammock when the hammock or individual parts are
damaged.
− Do not leave the hammock to hang unattended after use.
• Make sure that the hammock is not stretched out too tightly and
lie down slightly diagonally in the hammock. This ensures healthy
and correct back posture (see Fig. B)
• Lie down slightly horizontally in the hammock, and make sure that
the hammock is not stretched out too tightly (see Fig. C).
1. Place yourself on one side of the hammock.
2. Swing a leg over the hammock so you are lying in the hammock with your legs apart.
3. Now lay back in the hammock.
4. Carefully swing your legs up into the hammock.
5. Lean your upper body back.

Risk of damage!
The hammock may become damaged if it is improperly handled.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.
− Do not in any case place the hammock in the washing machine.
− Wipe the hammock, the carabiner clips 1and the ropes 2with a damp cloth.
− Then let the hammock and, if necessary, the individual parts dry completely.
Storage
1. Clean the hammock as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
2. Store the hammock in the protective bag 3.
3. Store the hammock in a dry place inaccessible to children.

Disposal of the packaging
Dispose of the packaging separated into single type materials. Dispose
of cardboard and carton as waste paper and film via the recyclable
material collection service.

in your country.
