Warranty for USA Product Purchases
1. What is covered and for how long?
ALL PRODUCT: ALESIS LCC (“ALESIS”) warrants to the original purchaser that ALESIS’ Recording Products, Synthesizer Products,
Signal Processing Products, Power Amplifiers, and Speakers and all other accessories are free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase from an authorized ALESIS dealer and
continuing for the following period of time after that date for (1) Year.
2. What is not covered? This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the product by the purchaser. This Limited Warranty
does not cover:
(a) Damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to any peripheral
(b) Damage caused by an external electrical fault
(c) Damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold by Alesis
(d) Product purchased from anyone other than a Alesis authorized dealer
(e) Modifications to product not approved in writing by Alesis
(f) Equipment that has the serial number removed or made illegible
(g) Normal cosmetic and mechanical wear
(h) Damage or loss during transit to an Authorized Alesis Repair Center
(i) Units that are purchased and/or located outside of the continental USA
3. What are ALESIS’ obligations? During the applicable warranty period, ALESIS will repair or replace, at ALESIS’ sole option, without
charge to the purchaser, any defective component part of the product. To obtain service under this Limited Warranty, purchaser must
first contact ALESIS and obtain a return authorization number ("RA#"). Purchaser must then return the product to ALESIS in an
adequate container for shipping, accompanied by purchaser's sales receipt or comparable proof of sale showing the date of purchase,
the serial number of the product, and the seller's name and address. To obtain an RA# and assistance on where to return the product,
contact ALESIS customer service at 401-295-9000. Upon receipt, ALESIS will repair or replace the defective products. ALESIS may, at
ALESIS’ sole option, use rebuilt, reconditioned, or new parts or components when repairing any product or replace a product with a
rebuilt, reconditioned or new product. Repaired products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited
Warranty on the original product or for 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced parts, components, boards and equipment become the
property of ALESIS. If ALESIS determines that any product is not covered by this Limited Warranty, purchaser must pay all parts,
shipping, and labor charges for the repair or return of such product.
4. What are the limits on ALESIS’ liabilities? THE WARRANTIES GIVEN IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, TOGETHER WITH ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES COVERING ALESIS PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALESIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DAMAGES TO PURCHASER'S
PROPERTY, OR INJURY TO PURCHASER OR OTHERS ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ALESIS
PRODUCT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR NEGLIGENCE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALESIS’ OWN NEGLIGENCE, EVEN
IF ALESIS OR ITS AGENT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BROUGHT AGAINST PURCHASER BY
ANY OTHER PARTY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR ALESIS’ PRODUCTS, AND IS GIVEN IN
LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE
ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT AND STATES PURCHASER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. IF ANY PORTION OF THIS
LIMITED WARRANTY IS ILLEGAL OR UNENFORCEABLE BY REASON OF ANY LAW, SUCH PARTIAL ILLEGALITY OR
UNENFORCEABILTY SHALL NOT AFFECT THE ENFORCEABILITY OF THE REMAINDER OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WHICH
PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE CONSTRUED TO BE LIMITED BY ITS TERMS OR AS LIMITED AS THE
LAW PERMITS.
This Limited Warranty allocates risk of product failure between purchaser and ALESIS, and ALESIS’ product pricing reflects this
allocation of risk and the limitations of liabilitycontained in this Limited Warranty. The agents, employees, distributors, and dealers of
ALESIS are not authorized to make modifications to this Limited Warranty, or make additional warranties binding on ALESIS.
Accordingly, additional statements such as dealer advertising or presentation, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranties by
ALESIS and should not be relied upon.
5. How does statelaw apply to this warranty? SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATIONS OF INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR

product is connected and used.
b) Retain Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should be kept for future
reference.
c) Heed Warnings - All warnings on this product and in these operating instructions
should be followed.
d) Follow Instructions - All operating and other instructions should be followed.
e) Placement – place the unit in a clean, dry location.
f) Water and Moisture - This product should be kept away from direct contact with
liquids. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. No objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
g) Temperature- Avoid placing this product too close to any high heat sources such as
radiators. Do not use this unit at temperatures below 41°F/5°C or above 95°F/35°C.
h) Ventilation - The product should be situated so that its location or position does not
interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the product should not be situated
on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation opening The
product should not be placed in an installation, such as bookcase or cabinet, that may
impede the flow of air through the product’s ventilation openings.
i) Power Sources - This product should be connected to a power supply only of the type
described in the operating instructions or marked on the unit.
j) Power Cord Protection - Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not
likely to be walked upon or pinched by items placed on or against them. When
removing the cord from a power outlet, be sure to remove it by holding the plug
attachment and not by pulling on the cord.
k) Object and Liquid Entry - Take care that objects do not fall into and that liquids are not
spilled into the inside of the product.
l) Cleaning – The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended by the
manufacturer. Do not use chemical solvents to clean the unit.
m) Non-use Periods – The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for long periods of time.
n) Damage Requiring Service - Only qualified personnel should service this product. If
you have any questions about service please contact Alesis at the number(s) shown
on the back cover of the manual.
o) Grounding or Polarization - Precautions should be taken so that the grounding or
polarization means built into the product is not defeated.
p) Internal/External Voltage Selectors - Internal or external voltage selector switches, if
any, should only be reset and re-equipped with a proper plug for alternative voltage by
a qualified service technician. Do not attempt to alter this yourself.
q) Carts and Stands －The appliance should be used only with a cart or
stand that is recommended by the manufacturer of the cart or stand.
An appliance and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick
stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the appliance
and cart combination to overturn.

reasonable protection against such interference in a residential installation. There is no
guarantee, however, that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If the unit
does cause interference to any radio or television reception, try to reduce it by one or more

For optimum performance:
•Always make sure that AC power is OFF while making any connections.
•Use appropriate cables throughout your system. Do not use excessively long cables
(i.e. over 50ft/14m). Be sure plugs and jacks are tightly mated. Loose connections can
cause hum, noise or intermittents that could easily damage your speakers. Make the
input and output connections using appropriate cables. Quality cable makes a big
difference in audio fidelity and punch. See your Alesis dealer or an electronics or
audio specialist store if you are not sure which cables to use.
•Never attempt to make any adjustments or repairs other than those described in the
manual. Take the unit to your dealer or to an authorized Alesis Service Center.
•Always remember: “TURN AMPLIFIERS ON LAST AND OFF FIRST”. Begin with
master faders or volume controls on minimum and the amplifier gain/input control(s)
down. Wait 8 to 10 seconds before turning up the volume. This prevents transients
that may cause severe speaker damage.
•Use restraint when operating controls. Try to move them slowly. Rapid adjustments
could damage equipment due to amplifier clipping.
•Avoid amplifier “clipping” at all costs. This occurs when the red LEDs (usually on the
front panel of most professional power amplifiers) start flashing. “Clipping” is when the
power amplifier is distorting and working beyond its limits. Amplifier distortion is THE
major cause of speaker failure.
•To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. Never
place cans of beer, soda, glasses of water or anything wet near or on top of the unit!
•Headphone outputs can be set to levels that can cause damage to your ears. Use
caution.

•Para un funcionamiento óptimo:

•Para un funcionamiento óptimo:

•Recuerde siempre: “ENCENDER LOS AMPLIFICADORES EN ÚLTIMO LUGAR
Y APAGARLOS EN PRIMER LUGAR”. Comience con los faders master o los
controles de volumen en mínimo y el(los) control(es) de ganancia/entrada del

•Veuillez vous assurer de suivre les consignes suivantes en tout temps : Les appareils
sont hors tension avant de procéder aux raccordements.
•Utilisez des câbles adéquats pour tout le branchement de votre système. N’utilisez
pas des câbles trop longs (c.-à-d. plus de 50 pi/14m). Assurez-vous que les fiches et
prises soient bien connectées. Un mauvais branchement peut entraîner des
bourdonnements, du bruit ou des intermittences qui pourraient facilement
endommager vos enceintes. Faire le raccordement des entrées et sorties avec des
câbles stéréo à basse capacitance, qui sont aisément accessibles. La qualité du
câblage fait une grande différence dans la haute fidélité audio. Consultez un détaillant
Alesis ou un spécialiste en électronique ou en audio si vous avez des doutes quant au
choix des câbles.
•Ne tentez jamais de faire des ajustements ou des réparations autres que ceux décrits

Commencez avec les atténuateurs principaux ou ceux du volume au minimum et ceux
du gain/entrée des amplificateurs au plus bas niveau. Attendez de 8 à 10 secondes
avant d’augmenter le volume. Cette mesure prévient les transitoires qui pourraient
endommager les enceintes.
•Manœuvrez doucement les commandes. Essayez de les déplacer lentement. Les
ajustements effectués rapidement peuvent endommager l’équipement dû aux
coupures de l’amplificateur.
•Évitez à tout prix les coupures de l’amplificateur : ceci se produit lorsque les LEDs
rouges (habituellement situés sur le panneau avant de la plupart des amplificateurs
professionnels) se mettent à clignoter. Les coupures sont occasionnées par une
sollicitation excessive de l’amplificateur. La distorsion de l’amplificateur est LA
principale cause de mal fonctionnement des enceintes.
•Afin de réduire les risques d’incendie ou d’électrocution, ne pas exposer cet appareil à
la pluie ou à l’humidité. Ne jamais déposer de cannettes de bière, de boissons
gazeuses, de verre d’eau ou tout autre liquide sûr ou près de l’appareil.
•Le niveau du volume du casque d’écoute peut être réglé à un niveau qui pourrait
