CARICABATTERIA LITIO ALIANT
Destinazione di uso
I caricabatterie al litio Aliant Serie CB
sono caricabatterie progettati e
realizzati per l’utilizzo per la ricarica di batterie
Aliant al litio. Sono stati studiati con funzioni speciali
per la carica di celle di tipo LiFePO4.
La serie CB comprende i modelli CB1210 e CB1203.
In generale, le batterie al litio hanno bisogno di
caricabatterie da rete 220 V per essere ricaricate
qualora siano scariche.
Le batterie Aliant sono state studiate per poter
sostituire batterie al piombo (tradizionali) senza
dover effettuare alcuna modifica all’impianto
elettrico del veicolo ma, nel caso si desideri ricaricare
la batteria da rete elettrica, è assolutamente
necessario utilizzare il caricabatterie serie CB oppure
solo caricabatterie compatibili, come indicato sul sito
www.go-aliant.com
Si sconsiglia l’utilizzo dei caricabatterie serie CB per
batterie tradizionali al piombo di capacità inferiore ad
80Ah o per batterie al litio di altra marca.
Contattare assistenza tecnica ALIANT per ogni
dubbio in merito.

CB1203 + KIT
ALIANT LITHIUM CHARGER
Proper Use
The lithium chargers “Aliant CB Series”
are designed and manufactured for charging lithium
batteries Aliant, only. They have special features to
charge LiFePO4 cells.
The CB series includes models 1210 and 1203.
In general, lithium batteries require 220 V AC adapter
for recharging when they are discharged.
Aliant batteries are designed to replace lead acid
batteries (traditional) without having to make any
changes to the electrical system of the vehicle, but if
you want to charge the battery from the mains, it is
absolutely necessary to use the charger CB. Similarly,
it discourages the use of traditional battery charger
CB series lead or lithium batteries manufactured by
another company as long as they are not listed as
compatible chargers on the official website
www.go-aliant.com
Do not use Aliant charger for Lead Acid batteries with
capacity less than 80Ah or for other lithium batteries.

CONTENUTO DELLA CONFEZIONE
La scatola del caricabatterie contiene, per
tutti i modelli:
A) n° 1 caricabatterie
B) n° 1 cavo con doppio morsetto a molla ROSSO
“Terminale Positivo” e NERO “Terminale
Negativo”
C) n° 1 cavo di alimentazione per collegamento a
presa elettrica da parete
D) [n° 1 cavo accessorio per connessione rapida a
bordo del veicolo –incluso solo nelle versioni
CB1210+KIT e CB1203+KIT]
I modelli standard CBxxxx non sono trasformabili in
CBxxxx+ kit solo acquistando il cavo accessorio separato
poiché le versioni CBxxxx+KIT sono dotate di connettori
aggiuntivi per aggancio/sgancio rapido nei cavi lato DC.
MANUTENZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
Le batterie Aliant richiedono una
manutenzione limitata. Mantenere la batteria carica
al 100%. Ricaricare la batteria quando la potenza del
fascio luminoso si riduce, il clacson è debole, o la
batteria non è stata utilizzata per più di tre/quattro
mesi.
Ricaricare la batteria con caricabatterie serie CB ogni
3-4 settimane se il veicolo viene lasciato fermo per
lunghi periodi senza scollegare i cavi dell’impianto
elettrico, quindi avviare il motore e lasciarlo acceso
qualche minuto.
Se si scollega la batteria dall’impianto elettrico del
veicolo, occorre effettuare una ricarica periodica ogni
2-3 mesi, ricaricando la batteria al 100% prima di
rimettere in moto il veicolo.
CONTENTS OF PACKAGE
The box contains charger for all models:
A) N. 1 Charger
B) N. 1 cable with double spring clamp RED
"Terminal Positive" and BLACK "negative terminal"
C) N. 1 power cable for connection to wall socket
D) [N. 1 accessory cable for quick connection to the
vehicle –included only in models CB1210+KIT and
CB1203+KIT]
It is not possible to modify a standard model CBxxxx and
make it compatibile with CBxxxx+KIT just adding the
accessory cable as CBxxxx+KIT have extra connecting plugs
in the DC side cables.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Aliant batteries require limited maintenance.
Mantain the battery charged to 100%. Recharge the
battery when the power of the beam is reduced, the
horn is weak, or the battery has not been used for
more than three / four months.
Recharge the battery every 3-4 weeks if the vehicle is
left stationary for long periods without disconnecting
electrical wires, then start the engine and leave it on
for a few minutes.
If you disconnect the battery from the vehicle
electrical system, there should be a periodic charge
every 2-3 months, and recharging the battery to
100% before you restart the vehicle.
Utilizzare SOLO il caricabatterie Aliant per
ricaricare le batterie Aliant. L’utilizzo di altri
caricabatterie destinati a batterie tradizionali
può danneggiare Aliant, causare pericolosi
surriscaldamenti e ridurne il tempo di
funzionamento.
Non utilizzare mai il caricabatterie Aliant
CB1210 e CB1210+KIT come mantenitore.
Disconnettere sempre i caricabatterie a carica
ultimata, o comunque non oltre la durata
massima di carica indicata.

applicabili a tutti i modelli di
caricabatterie al litio serie CB, salvo diversa
indicazione. Prima di eseguire la ricarica leggere con
attenzione il presente manuale di uso e
manutenzione.
Rimuovere la batteria Aliant dal vano dedicato
all’interno del veicolo. Scollegare entrambi i morsetti
del veicolo dalla batteria. Effettuare le operazioni di
ricarica in luogo fresco e asciutto.
Abbigliamento
Indossare sempre una visiera o occhiali di sicurezza
quando durante le operazioni di carica della batteria.
Indossare guanti di plastica , un grembiule o camice
per proteggere i vostri vestiti; rimuovere braccialetti,
anelli o altri oggetti metallici che potrebbero causare
corti circuiti involontari.
OPERATIONS CHARGE
The operations described below are
applicable to all models of Lithium
battery charger CB, unless otherwise indicated.
Before you start charging carefully read this owner's
manual.
Remove the battery compartment from inside the
vehicle. Disconnect both terminals of the vehicle
from the battery. Perform the charge in a cool, dry
place.
Clothing
Always wear a face shield or safety glasses when
during the charging of the battery.
Wear plastic gloves, apron or smock to protect your
clothes, remove bracelets, rings or other metal
objects that could cause accidental short circuits.
Se la batteria si riscalda sensibilmente durante
la carica, interrompere la fase di carica.
Lasciare raffreddare la batteria prima di
ricaricarla.
Non fumare, creare scintille o fiamme in
prossimità delle batterie e del carica batterie:
rischio esplosione.

reverse polarity connection.

I connettori
rapidi possono
essere montati in
una sola modalità
ed esclusivamente
in un solo verso.
1) Avvicinare la batteria Aliant al caricabatterie serie
CB1210 oppure CB1203 evitando di frapporre
oggetti metallici tra i due terminali (ciò potrebbe
danneggiare la batteria).
2) Verificare l’integrità dei cavi.
3) Verificare l’assenza di ruggine nei morsetti a
molla. Controllare l’integrità dello stato esterno
dei morsetti a molla e dell’involucro, eventuali
segni di danneggiamento o usura anomala
possono essersi verificati durante il servizio o per
effetto del tempo. In caso di dubbi sulla
condizione del caricabatterie, chiedere il parere di
un installatore professionale.
1) Bring the battery to the charger Aliant series
CB1210 or CB1203 - avoid metal objects in
between the two terminals (this may damage the
battery).
2) Verify the integrity of the cables.
3) Check for any rust in spring terminals. Check the
integrity of the state outside of the terminals and
casing, any signs of damage or abnormal wear
may have occurred during the service or effect of
the time. If you have any doubts about the
condition of the charger, seek the advice of a
professional installer.

4) Collegare il morsetto a molla positivo ROSSO al
terminale positivo della batteria.
5) Collegare il morsetto a molla negativo NERO al
terminale negativo della batteria.
6) Controllare che i morsetti a molla siano
saldamente collegati ai terminali e che i segni + e –
siano corrispondenti a quanto sotto indicato.
7) Collegare il caricabatterie ad una presa a parete.
8) Per il modella CB 1210 accendere il caricabatterie
tramite apposito interruttore posizionato nella
parte posteriore del caricabatterie. La posizione in
figura è la posizione OFF. Per accenderlo portare il
pulsante dalla posizione OFF alla posizione ON.
9) Il caricabatterie avvierà AUTOMATICAMENTE il
ciclo di carica. Il modello CB1203 avvierà il
lampeggio del led giallo per indicare la carica in
corso
10) Per il modello CB 1210 attendere che sul display
venga visualizzato il messaggio End e spegnere il
caricabatteria tramite l’interruttore (vd. Foto
precedente). Il modello CB1203 avrà completato
la carica quando il led giallo rimarrà accesso in
modo continuo
11) Per il modello CB1210 attendere che il colore
della spia luminosa da rosso diventi verde.
12) Rimuovere i morsetti dai terminali della batteria.
4) Connect the RED positive spring clamp to the
positive terminal of the battery.
5) Connect the BLACK negative spring clamp to the
negative terminal of the battery.
6) Check that the spring clips are securely connected
to the terminals and that the signs + and -
correspond to what is below.
7) Connect the charger to a wall outlet.
8) For the 1210 model CB switch on the charger
through a special switch located at the rear of the
charger. The position in the figure is the OFF
position. To make the button turn from the OFF to
ON position.
9) The charger will automatically start the charging
cycle. Model CB1203 starts flashing the yellow led
when charging the battery is in progress.
10) For model CB 1210 wait message appears on the
display End and switch off the charging battery
via the switch (see Previous photo).Model
CB1203 completes charging the battery when
yellow led is turned on continuously
11) For Model CB1210 wait until the indicator light
turns from red to green.
12) Remove the clamps from the battery terminals.

13) Rimuovere la spina di alimentazione del

Le batterie Aliant sono state studiate per poter essere
completamente intercambiabili con le batterie
tradizionali al piombo acido (nelle differenti versioni
–ermetiche, sigillate, etc..). L’elettronica integrata
all’interno delle batterie Aliant garantisce tale
intercambiabilità senza dover affrontare alcun
intervento né modifica all’impianto elettrico del
veicolo su cui queste batteria devono essere
installate.
Aliant batteries are designed to be completely
interchangeable with conventional lead-acid batteries
(in different versions - hermetic, sealed, etc. ..).The
integrated electronics within the Aliant battery
ensures interchangeability without having to
undertake any intervention or change of the
electrical vehicle on which these batteries must be
installed.
Non causare mai corto circuito tra i poli + e –
della batteria: ciò può causare pericolosi
surriscaldamenti ed esplosioni.
Non caricare le batterie Aliant con valori di
corrente superiori a quelli indicati nelle
specifiche tecniche e raccomandati nelle
istruzioni: potrebbe causare pericolosi
surriscaldamenti. Spegnere il caricabatterie
prima di disconnettere i morsetti dello stesso
dalla batteria per evitare la generazione di
scintille.
Contattare un installatore professionale
oppure il numero verde in caso di difficoltà o
dubbi.
Non collegare più batterie
contemporaneamente. Non COLLEGARE MAI
più batterie ALIANT in serie o parallelo tra loro.

Aliant does not charge the battery with current
values higher than those indicated in the
technical specifications and recommended in
the instructions: it could cause dangerous
overheating. Turn off the charger before
disconnecting the terminals of the same from
the coil to prevent sparking.
Contact a professional installer or call toll free
number in case of problems or concerns.
Do not connect multiple batteries
simultaneously. Do not CONNECT more Aliant
batteries in series or parallel.

Modalità di lettura sul display per il
modello CB1210.
Il display del caricabatteria indica vari
parametri. Come riportato in figura, si possono
visualizzare
1) Tensione “V” [Volt]
Valore istantaneo di tensione ai capi della batteria
(Foto 1).
2) Corrente “A” [Ampere]
Valore istantaneo di corrente (Foto 2).
3) Percentuale di carica “P” [%]
Valore istantaneo di percentuale di carica (Foto 3).
4) Capacità “H” [Ah]
Valore di capacità residua della batteria (Foto 4).
5) Tempo trascorso da inizio carica “t” [min] (Foto 5).
6) Tempo mancante al termine carica “E” [min] (Foto
6).
7) Ore “h”
Indicazione oraria per funzione di timer (Foto 7).
8) Pre-Caricamento “C” [Volt]
Parametrizzazione valori precarica (Foto 8).
In merito ai parametri 2), 3), 7) e 8) si consiglia di
non modificare il valore preimpostato dalla fabbrica
per evitare di alterare le prestazioni del dispositivo e
i tempi di ricarica.
INDICATIONS ON DISPLAY
How to read the display model for the
CB1210.
The charger's display shows the various
parameters. As reported in the figure, can be
displayed
1) Voltage "V" [V]

2) Current "A" [Ampere]

Parameterization values precharge (Photo 8).
With regard to parameters 2), 3), 7) and 8) is not
recommended to change the preset from the factory
to avoid altering the performance of the device and
recharge times.

Impostazione & Salvataggio: premere il pulsante
con pressione di durata maggiore di 3 secondi
per salvare le modifiche effettuate.

Conservare il caricabatterie in luogo
fresco e asciutto. Non esporre ad intemperie (piogga
e/o neve).
Verificare l’integrità dei cavi prima di ogni utilizzo.
Controllare l’integrità dello stato esterno dei morsetti
a molla e dell’involucro, eventuali segni di
danneggiamento o usura anomala possono essersi
verificati durante il servizio o per effetto del tempo.
In caso di dubbi sulla condizione del caricabatterie,
chiedere il parere di un installatore professionale.
CHARGER STORAGE
Keep the charger in a cool, dry place. Do
not expose to the weather (precipitation
and / or snow).
Verify the integrity of cables before each use.
Check the integrity of the state outside of the
terminals and casing, any signs of damage or
abnormal wear may have occurred during the service
or effect of the time.If you have any doubts about the
condition of the charger, seek the advice of a
professional installer.

alimentare il caricabatterie.

dalla portata dei bambini .
Non esporre la batteria al calore o al fuoco o a
microonde. Non esporre alla luce solare
diretta. Non esporre a temperatura maggiore
