Congratulations on your purchase of a quality Christie shed. All the parts required
for building your shed are included in the pack you received. Optional extras
include:
•Concrete base fixing brackets
•Timber frame to concrete pad fixing brackets
•Shelving brackets
•Free standing shelving
You will need the following to complete the shed assembly:
•Hammer
•Level
•Tape measure
•Pozi-drive screwdriver
•8mm Spanner
Begin with the base. This can be concrete or timber.
On clear and level ground build the OUTSIDE of the base to the required size.
This MUST be SQUARE and LEVEL.
Timber Base: Peg the timber frame to ground. Include extra bearers if using a
slat floor (as per the picture above).
Concrete base: Include a 1500mm long step to sit directly underneath the door
guide as per the dimensions shown.

Starting in one corner, place one of the Rear Walls and the Left Wall on the base,
with the corners overlapping.
Line up the holes in the corners of the two panels and bolt together. There are four
bolts per corner. Overlap the corners so that the panel edges are not visible from
the front of the shed.

Repeat the process for the other Rear Wall and Right Wall.
Start by overlapping the two panels at the bottom, pushing them together until the
cappings butt up against each other without a gap. Use a 4” nail or nail punch
through one set of bolt holes to pull the panels into alignment and bolt through the
other set of holes. Remove the nail/nail punch and bolt through the other set of
holes.
Overlap the corners of the Rear Wall and Right Wall and bolt together.

Bolt the Left Hand and Right Hand Fronts to the Walls.
Join the Left Hand Front and Right Hand Front together with the Door Lintle at
the top.

Attach the Door Guide at the bottom of Left Hand and Right Hand Front panels.
Ensure the doors sit within the guide as shown, and attach the Door Guide at the
ends.
Bolt the Ridge Arch across the middle, bolting to the top of the Front Wall and
sitting over the edge of the Rear Wall. The Ridge Arch will only go on one way.

Bolt the two Ridges across the middle, attaching to the Ridge Arch and the top of
the Side Walls.
Drill through the brackets, Rear Wall and Front Wall as shown and bolt Ridge
Arch to inner face of Rear Wall.
Place the twelve Roof Panels on the top, overlapping each panel and bolting them
together.Bolt the Roof Panels to the Ridge, Front Wall and Rear Wall of the shed.

Assemble the Doors by sliding the wheels at the top of each Door into the Door
Rails. Ensure the Doors are assembled such that the handles meet in the middle
when the Doors are fully closed. Fasten a bolt and nut in four places in the Door
Rail as shown to act as a Door Stop and limit the door movement.

Join the Left Flashing and Right Flashing with the Flashing Joiner in the centre.
Repeat to make the other Side Flashing. Fit the Side Flashings OVER the roof
panel, but INSIDE the Spouting. Bolt these through the Roof Panels and Side
Walls.

Fold the fixing tabs on the Ridge Covers so they point straight down as shown.
Drop the tabs through the gap in the centre of the Ridge and push the ends of the
Ridge Covers hard up against the sides of the shed. Fold the tabs up inside the
shed to hold the Ridge Covers in place.

Timber Base: Hammer a piece of 50mm x 50mm timber to the timber frame
directly under the door opening to strengthen the door guide. Use at least three
self-drilling screws to drill through the top of the door guide into the 50mm x
50mm timber as shown.
Concrete Base: Drill three holes through the top of the Door Guide to expose the
concrete step. Use suitable masonry fasteners, such as dynabolts, to attach the
Door Guide to the Concrete Base.
