7235 & 8435 Hydraulic Drive Snowblower -Truck Loader Spout Kit

Note

The truck loader spout kit is to be used in place of the standard spout equipped on the hydraulic

drive snowblowers.The standard spout and connected deﬂector cylinder hoses need to be

removed prior to installation.

Assembly

On earlier snowblower models (pre-2014), mounting holes need to be drilled at the locations

provided on the mounting hole diagram page. On later models, hole are already provided in the

snowblower body.

Using the exploded assembly view (see on next page) as a guide:

1. Install truck loader base (816790) to the snow blower body using 3/8" x 1-1/2" (10 x 38 mm)

hardware.

2. Assemble deﬂector link arm components to spout and tighten so as to remove all slack, but to

still allow motion of deﬂector.

3. Attach hydraulic components to the truck spout similar to standard spout.Tighten ﬁttings and

clamping hardware.

4. Mount the truck loader spout to the snow blower using existing spout spacers, clamps, and

chain (815506, 815507, & 815498). Spout can cause damage or injury to equipment or personal

if care is not taken. Support spout from tipping until all mounting hardware is fully tightened.

5. Connect hoses to manifold similar as standard spout hoses. Clamp hoses in location provided

on side of base.

6. Assemble ring spacers and clamps (816780, 816867) using 5/16" (8 mm) Hardware.

Operation

1. Metal surfaces between spout and spout base should be kept lubricated

2. Periodically check all hardware to ensure they are properly tightened

3. Spout and base should be checked occasionally for wear or cracking

WARNING

Do not operate or transport assemble truck loader spout above

5 mph (8 kph). When transporting, always face the spout in the

forward position.

WARNING Watch for overhead hazards when machine is in operation or

while transporting.
