Chapter 2 Getting Started
2.1 Identifying External Components
Front Panel
Message: Flash light means GW booting OK
Ready: Constant light means VOIP service OK
Line: The PSTN line is in use.
VOIP: The VoIP line is in use
Status: The server registers status

12V: For the included power adapter. Be sure to use only the 12VDC power adapter included
with the product. Using the wrong power adapter can damage the product and void the
warranty.
Phone: Normal RJ-11 phone jacks used to connect analog telephones and fax machines.
Line: Normal RJ-11 phone jacks used to connect analog phone line or landline.
Reset: Clear all settings and restore them to the initial values present when the device was
purchased. After performing the reset, make sure to redefine the IP settings for the device in
the ‘Connection’.
LAN 1~3: A 10/100 dual-speed Ethernet port fitted with an RJ-45 connector used to connect
the VoIP gateway to a LAN device.
WAN : A 10/100 dual-speed Ethernet port fitted with an RJ-45 connector used to connect the
VoIP gateway to WAN device (usually a router).

2.2 Installation
Do not place heavy objects on the Router. Placing the Router in a well ventilated area is very
important. Not doing so may cause damage to the unit.

Chapter 3 Configuration
The default setting of DHCP Server inside OneInGate120 VoIP Router is turn ON, So please set up
your PC TCP/IP network as “Get IP Automatically” from DHCP to get internal IP from
OneInGate120. By default, The OneInGate120 will become the network gateway and default IP is
192.168.1.1 and will assign your PC IP as 192.168.1.X.
Please go to “Control Panel” ”Network”. In the “Configure” page, choose the TCP/IP→of LAN card,
and press “Properties” please choose “Obtain IP Address Automatically”
Launch your browser and open the OneInGate120 Internal UI WAP page as
http://192.168.22.1/admin.

3.1 Connection
Click “Connection” option below “System Setup” item:

Please select the type of Internet connection you have and set up the router to use the IP
Address Automatically, Static-IP or PPPoE ADSL connection.
If your ISP has not given you an IP address, select Obtain an IP Address Automatically
(default). If you have been given a specific IP address, select Specify an IP Address.

To use Static-IP ADSL connection, please select “Specify an IP Address” and enter WAN IP
settings, including the Primary and Secondary DNS IPs, supplied by your ISP.

To use PPPoE ADSL connection, please select Yes in use “PPPoE” ADSL service and
enter the “username” and “password” in the PPPoE setup section. Most of ADSL ISPs
assign dynamic-IP settings to the router when using PPPoE. Please select Obtain IP Address
Automatically(default setting). You can leave the Primary and Secondary DNS IP settings in
default. The router automatically obtains these settings from your ISP when the PPPoE
connection is successfully established.

3.2 System status
“System Setup” →”System status” to check system status.

3.3 VoIP Call Out
User key in the phone number through phone set dial pad, then Gateway translate the phone
number by the routing table setting here to destination IP & dial out number then Call out via
network protocol

Remark: For Notify remark for this rule. Please use UNDERLINE to replace the SPACE
due to HTTP protocol limitation.
Area Code: Define the Prefix number fit this rule, any phone number prefix digits
matched with the rule will call out by this rule define. Please Notify there is a compare order
rule on this routing table. That mean the Gateway will check the rule list from top to bottom
one by one, any rule item matched with the prefix digits that user key in will go to call out
directly no regard to the rest rules below. For Example, if a rule item for area code 8862 is
on Index 5, another rule item for area code 886 on Index 6 below that will be ignored.
Min Digits: The length of the dialed number should not less than this digits. For example,
if the field is entered into ‘3’, the length of the dial number should be 3 digits at least.
Max Digits: The length of the dialed number should not more than this digits. For example,
if the field is entered into ‘10’, the length of the dial number should be 3 digits at most.
IP Address: Define the destination IP for call out number fit this rule, user can input
below format:
IP address, for example: 168.56.9.22
All the setting above can be added by port number, for examples:
168.56.9.22:8495 will call to 8495 port.
Strip: the number of digits will be ignored by user input. For example, if user key in the

number is 886285123390 and the STRIPE field is setting to 4, the first 4 digits 8862 will be
truncated and actually call out number will be 85123390.
Prefix: The numbers will be added on the prefix of user key in number. For examples, if
user key in the number is 85123390 and the PREFIX field is setting to 0028862, the actually
call out number will be 002886285123390. Another example, if user key in the number is 90,
STRIP field is setting to 2, and the PREFIX field is setting to 0,85123390, the actually call
out number will be 0,85123390 ( , mean wait 1 second). This example is especially for speed
dial function.
To add new rule item on routing table, please assign the item number you want to insert
before, input AREA CODE and IP address then press ADD button to add it on the list. Then
modify the necessary information on the routing table list.
Please remember to press the modify button to take it effect. For store back to flash memory,
please press “Save Modification” (/System Maintenance/Save Modification/).

Chapter 4 VoIP Router Setting
4.1 VPN point-to-point VoIP phone environment setting
This chapter will illustrate the enterprise uses the internal network or the VPN environment
to establishes VoIP Router construction in details. Achieves the enterprise interior
telecommunication to disburse the goal of “zero” cost.
4.2 Installation plan
First at all, in order to GW makes effective communication to each other, collect all the
following information that GW can work fine. ( following parameters depend on the different
environments.)
1. IP Address Assigned by Your ISP or VPN.
2. Line Number Planning.
3. IP Address Planning.

4.3 VPN Point-to-point VoIP phone construction
On net call:
1. John (America) want to make a phone call to Mary (China) :
He has to dial the number of “80252”, “802521” or “802522”.
2. Lee (Taiwan) want to make a phone call to Mary (China):
He has to dial the number of “80252”, “802521” or “802522”.
3. John (America) want to make a phone call to Lee (Taiwan):
He has to dial the number of “802361”.
4. IF Lee (Taiwan) want to phone John (America):
Please dial the number of “80168”, “801681” or “801682”.

4.4 Setting Procedure
Step 1. Launch your browser and open the OneInGate120 Internal UI WAP page as
http://192.168.22.1/admin.
Step 2. The default User name is voip in lower case, and the default Password is 1234.
Step 3. The VoIP Router Web UI management will show as follow:
Step 4. WAN IP setting:
a. click /System Setup/Connection/Select style/Specify an IP Address/.
b.Enter the value “IP Address”, “Subnet mask” and “Gateway Address” into the field.
c.Click Modify to save the configuration.

Step 5. VoIP Router Phone port Setting:
Go to /Line Configure/Line Setting/, input name and line number into the field that user
had planned.
For Example, the company A has an GW, and the GW phone number is 80236 which is in
Taiwan:
a. Name: Enter “Taipei1” and “Tai pei2”.
b. Line Number: Enter “802361” and “802362”.
Note: you may add-on “1” or “2” in the end of GW phone number , that can distinguishes between
PHONE1 and PHONE2.
c. Confirm both the value of “InBound” and “OutBound” are “Enable”.
d. Click Modify button to save.

Step 6. VoIP Call Out configuration:
To enter the item of ⁄Routing Setup⁄VoIP Call Out⁄, and in order to input dialing rule to each
field.
For example: the company A’s dialing rule is 5 + 1 digits, following the GW setting for Taiwan:
a. Remark: input each Call-out location, example to fill “America” and “China”.
b. Area Code: enter “80168” and “80252”.
c. Min Digits: enter “5”.
d. Max Digits: enter “6”.
e. IP Address: fill the each fields by called IP address.
f. Click Modify button.

Step 7. VoIP Call In setting:
Users can setup call in dialup rule at /VoIP Setup/Routing Setup/VoIP Call In/. In the
“Area Code”, enter phone number that others can call in, or add “1” or “2” in the end of phone
number, that can make a difference between different phone port.
For example a company A in Taiwan has a GW with phone number “80236”.
a. Input “80236” in the field “Area Code”, when the call coming then GW will
choosing a port to ring automatically.
b. Add “1” in the end of the GW phone number: input “802361” in the “Area Code”,
and enter “1” in the both fields “From” and “To”, this means when the dialer call
“802361”, then the phone-port-1 will ring, same with others.
c. Choosing “Modify” Icon.

Step 8. Save Modification: Click /System Maintenance/Save Modification/ to Save the
modifications.
Step 9. Reboot System:
Click /System Maintenance/Upgrade , Reboot/Reboot system/ to reboot the system.
*Please remember to press the Save Modification link every time after you modify the
parameters.
Step10. Configurations:
Click /System Maintenance/Backup , Restore/Configurations/ to download the
configurations backup, or restore the configurations from a file.
