Security, Design and Operation
The Autoclave Logger Thing (aLT) is designed to operate on a majority of 802.11 b/g/n
networks using standard protocols. DHCP and Static IP setup is an option.
The aLT has been designed to operate securely. Once setup, all incoming connections are
disabled. Only 2 secure outgoing connections occur over secure HTTPS connection protocols.
For Security the aLT requires a password to connect to it. The password is the device serial
number. The network configuration page is only available upon initial startup or after a hard
reset. This security feature is to prevents unauthorized access to the device and your network.
After the configuration and setup all other incoming data is disabled.
SD Card may be removed when not running a cycle, if the card is removed during a cycle it

when logging must be avoided.
