Installation Options
LED Indication
Cable Connection
1. Connect C1 and DC injector with an Ethernet Cable
2. Connect another network cable between DC injector “LAN” port and a
computer Ethernet port
3. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC injector and plug it into a power sock
4. Make sure both the Power LED and the Network LED light green

Configure TCP/IP of your computer
For Windows XP user,
1. Click Start > Control Panel, click Switch to Classic View and double click on
Network Connections
2. Right click on the Local Area Connection and click Properties.
3. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Type in the following IP address and
Subnet mask:
IP address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
4. Click OK to close the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties and click OK again to
close the Local Area Connection Properties

Connect to C1 Web Interface
1. Open a web browser and type the URL
http://192.168.1.20
2. Login the C1 web interface with:
User name: altai
Password: wag
3. Click OK
4. Click Enter on the web page
Configure C1 CPE Mode
1. Go to 2.4GHz Radio
2. Select Station as Radio Operation Mode and Click Update
3. Click VAP Remote [Edit]
4. Click Scan to scan available SSID
5. Select the desired SSID and click Select
6. Click Update
7. Click Security Configurations: [Edit]
8. Select Authentication Mode and Cipher Mode provided by ISP
9. Click Update and click REBOOT AP

Configure C1 AP Mode
1. Go to 2.4GHz Radio
2. Select AP as Radio Operation Mode and click Update
3. Click VAP 0 [Edit]
4. Type in SSID to customize wireless network name
5. Click Update
6. Click Security Configurations: [Edit]
7. Select WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK for Authentication Mode and select AES for Cipher
Mode
8. Type in a password with 8~63 characters or numbers in PassPhrase and click
Update
9. Go to Configuration > System
10. Select Gateway as Network Operation Mode
11. Click Update and click REBOOT AP
Configure C1 WAN Connection (AP Mode)
1. Go to Configuration > System > Network Configuration: [Edit]
2. Set WAN Configuration Type
1) For PPPoE (Logon is required by ISP)
i. Select PPPoE
ii. Enter PPPoE Username and PPPoE Password provided by ISP
iii. Select Keep Alive
2) For DHCP client (Logon is not required by ISP), select DHCP Client

3. Click Update and click REBOOT AP
Verify C1 AP/CPE Connection Status
For AP Mode
1. Go to Status > System
2. If WAN IP Address shows 0.0.0.0, check the Internet connectivity and logon info. If
not, WAN connection is successful
For CPE Mode
1. Go to 2.4GHz Association AP
2. If Connection Status shows Active, WAN connection is successful. If it shows
Inactive, check SSID, Authentication and Cipher mode provided by ISP
3. To reset TCP/IP Settings
Click Start > Control Panel and double click on Network Connections
4. Right click on the Local Area Connection and click Properties.
5. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
6. Select Obtain an IP address automatically Click OK to close the Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) Properties and click OK again to close the Local Area Connection
