1 Introduction:
There is a high quality, distinctive, concise and functional -Axis Gimbal( 60 degree panning) available for
your DJI S800 and Streak 800 Hexacopters to carry professional cameras from GoPro to DSLR camera
size for professional aerial photography with amazing price! It is the “Lensman-18 Camera -Axis Gimbal”
which is designed and produced by Alware.
Made of High Quality Materials:
The gimbal is made of K Carbon Frames, K Carbon Booms and high quality Anodized CNC Aluminum
metal parts. These are the lightest and the strongest materials whose make the gimbal looks more
professional and valuable as well as stronger mechanism.
Continuous 360 Degree Panning:
Unlike others, Lensman-18 comes with all -Axis controllable movement at once including Tilt axis (0-90°) ,
Roll (±25°) , Pan (continuous 60°). You do not need to worried about to pay for the third axis especially
the most important continuous 60 degree panning axis in the future. This allows the camera operator
complete creative control in framing and camera movement. Careful attention that the landing gear will not
block the view of the camera lens in Lensman-18's design. This making smooth shooting in all directions
possible.

Easy and Rigid Mounting to the Aircraft:
This gimbal use a 5mm (2*2.5mm) thick K Carbon Frame which is super rigid to mount onto the bottom
gimbal plate of Streak 800 directly or to DJI S800's Mount Bio-pod with unique metal mounts. Please be
noted that Lensman-18 comes with no landing gear, since we will use the original Landing Gear from DJI
S800 or Streak 800 Hexacopter. This is more environmental friendly and allows you to get this professional
-Axis gimbal with amazing price!
High Performance Metal Gear Digital Servos:
Servos are the heart of a gimbal. Lensman-18 use three pcs of 60 degree movement digital servos with
metal gears. Two of them is used with an external potentiometer to make the maximum range of the
movement for the gimbal. Together with POM M0.6 Main Gear and M0.6 Metal Servo Gear on the driving
axises, the precision of the gimbal movement can be highly increased.
Easy Assembly Steps:
All Lensman-18 gimbal will be assembled (99% complete) by well-trained technicians and checked
carefully before shipping. You will need only to put your own Laning Gear (from your DJI S800 or Streak
800 Aircraft) with four screws and also the electronic controllers to the Electronic Mount (included) on the
gimbal when you got the Kit. Clear instruction manual could be downloaded easily online.

2 ALLENS-18A Check List

3 Installation to Streak 800
Assembly Steps:
Step 1.
Get ready with your Streak 800 Heacopter to install
with Lensman-18A professional gimbal.
Step 2.
Remove the original Laning Gear from your Streak
800 by removing three screws on each side.
Step .
Repeat step 2 to remove other side of Landing
Gear.
Step 4.
Install three screws back to the main frame of
Streak 800. (Apply little amount of Thread Locker
when assembly metal to metal parts.)
Step 6.
Landing Gear Frames removed from Streak 800.
Step 7.
Remove the LG Metal Mount and Bipod Landing
Gear Assembly from the Landing Gear Frame as to
use on Lensman-18 Gimbal.

Step 8.
Repeat the previous step to prepare two Bipod
Landing Gear Assemblies with LG Metal Mount.
Step 9.
Loosen M x40mm screws with M Self-Lock Nut
from the Landing Gear Frame Mount of Lensman.
Step 10.
Remove a x5x mm collar from each M x40mm
Screw and adjust the screw to the position as
shown on the photo.
Step 11.
Insert the Bipod Landing Gear Assemby with LG
Metal Mount (from your Streak 800) to the Landing
Gear Frame Mount of Lensman-18 and secure with
two M x40mm Hex Cap Screws and M Self-Lock
Nut with a x5x mm collar on each end.

Step 12.
Adjust the Bipod Landing Gear Assemby as to
parallel with Lensman's body.
Step 1 .
Repeat previous steps to install another side of
Bipod Landing Gear Assemby. Completed
Lensman-18 Assembly with Streak 800 Landing
Gear is shown above.
Step 14.
At least 5mm of Landing Gear Boom should be out
of the LG Metal Mount for secure installation. Same
for both two sides.
Step 15.
Remove two M x8mm Screw from the Lensman's
body as to install the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount.
Step 16.
Two M x8mm Screws removed from the Lensman's
body.
Step 17.
Prepare the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount from part
pack.

Step 18.
Install the Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount to the Lensman
using Two M x8mm Screws with M Self-Lock
Nuts.
Step 19.
Prepare your Streak 800, remove the System
Platform Frame from the main body.
Step 20.
Remove the Up Gimbal Mounting Frame from
Streak 800 to get ready to connect with Lensman-
18 Gimbal.
Step 21.
Insert 4pcs M x18mm Hex Cap Screws(included
with Lensman) into the main frame of Streak 800
as shown above.
Step 22.
Insert 4pcs .5x7x9mm Nylon Rods into the
M x18mm Screws used in previous step.
Step 2 .
Insert 4pcs M x18mm Hex Cap Screw with Nylon
Rod installed(step 22) into the Gimbal Mount
installed with Pan Main Gear.

Step 24.
Close view of Step 2 .
Step 25.
Secure Streak 800 to Lensman-18 with 4pcs M
Self-Lock Nuts.
Step 26.

Step 27.
Install the Up Gimbal Mounting Frame back to the
Streak 800 body. (Apply little amount of Thread
Locker when assembly metal to metal parts.)
Step 28.
Install the System Platform Frame back to the
Streak 800 body. (Apply little amount of Thread
Locker when assembly metal to metal parts.)
Step 29.
Complete assembly of Streak 800 with Lensman-
18A Camera -axis Gimbal.

Step 0.
This Carbon Fiber Gyro Mount is good to mount
gimbal stabilize gyro, second receiver and battery to
control the Lensman Gimbal as to provide 60
degree continuous panning.
