TAP PAP CS Instructions

Intended Use
The TAP PAP CS is designed to connect the TAP 3 or TAP 3 Elite oral appliance
to the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask to provide combination Oral Appliance and
CPAP/Bi-level therapy. It is for single patient use in the home, hospital, sleep
lab or other clinical setting.
WARNINGS:
Read all instructions pertaining to the TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask and the TAP
3 or 3 Elite Oral Appliance. Heed all warnings.
The TAP PAP CS should not be used with any other products besides the TAP
PAP Nasal Pillow Mask and the TAP 3 or 3 Elite Oral Appliance.
Cleaning Instructions:
Wash the TAP PAP CS with pure soap in lukewarm water for no longer than 10
minutes. Brush the CS Connector with toothbrush, rinse and let air dry.

TAP PAP NPM CS Attachment Front Plate with Post
Items that are included with the CS Connector but are not pictured:
• Short Hex Key
• Long Hex Key
Items that are not included with the CS Connector but will be needed for
full assembly of the TAP PAP CS.
• TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask-Frame Only (Includes Nut and Bolt)
• TAP 3 or 3 Elite Appliance

Assembling the TAP PAP CS Front Plate
with Post to TAP 3 or 3 Elite Upper Appliance
Be sure to have your TAP 3/3
Elite Appliance, your TAP PAP
NP Mask, and the CS Connector
and Front Plate with Post. (The
TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask
comes with the Nut and Bolt
pictured above.)
Remove the TAP 3 or 3 Elite
Front Plate by removing the 2
Locking Screws (outer screws).
Remove the Front Plate,
leaving the hook attached. (Set
the TAP 3 or 3 Elite Front Plate
aside, this part will no longer be
needed.)

Attach the Front Plate with
Post onto the TAP 3 or 3 Elite
(where you removed the Front
Plate from)
NOTE: Be sure the Front Plate
with Post goes on with the at
side facing up.

Using the Locking Screws
you removed from the TAP 3 or
3 Elite in Step 2, secure the front
plate with Post to the TAP 3 Elite
Upper Appliance.

Assembling the TAP PAP CS to the TAP PAP
Nasal Pillow Mask
Slide the TAP PAP Nasal
Pillow Mask onto the TAP PAP
CS.
NOTE: Be sure the at surface
is facing upwards (as shown).
Insert the Nut and Screw into
the TAP PAP CS and TAP PAP
Nasal Pillow Mask.

Insert the Front Plate with
Post (attached to the TAP 3 Elite
Appliance) into the TAP PAP CS
(attached to the TAP PAP Nasal
Pillow Mask).
Once the Front Plate with
Post is attached to the TAP PAP
CS and Nasal Pillow Mask, lightly
tighten the Screw and Nut to
hold the post into place.

Your TAP PAP CS is fully
assembled. Refer to the
TAP PAP Nasal Pillow Mask
Instructions for tting the Mask
and refer to the TAP 3 or TAP
3 Elite Instructions for the
appliance.
