Read these instructions carefully and retain them for
future use. If this product is passed to a third party,
then these instructions must be included.
When using the product, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of injury including the following:
• Never use this product if damaged! Disconnect the product
from the outlet and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
• To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it
on sharp edges.
• Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
WARNING During cleaning or operation do not immerse

Intended Use
• This device is intended for writing and playing games on a
computer. It has the macro feature, which allows to customize
keys and save particular key combinations etc. for gaming
purposes.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from
improper use or non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
• Check for transport damages.
• Clean the product (Cleaning and Maintenance).
• Place the product on a stable, flat and heat-resistant surface.

• CD drive (or download the software, see page 12)
• 160 MB free hard disk space
Installation
• Plug the keyboard into a USB port in your computer.
• Windows®automatically detects the keyboard.
• Open the AmazonBasics gaming software and follow the
on-screen instructions.
• Windows®will prompt you if installation should continue
despite not passing Windows logo testing; install the driver
despite this.
NOTICE The driver will automatically uninstall older driver
versions. For that reason it may take a while
until the driver is installed and ready to use.
• As soon as the installation process is completed click “OK”.
• Reboot your PC.
• The AmazonBasics gaming software icon will now appear
onthe desktop or the right side of the Taskbar. Right
click the AmazonBasics icon to access the keyboard
configurationmenu.

Setting the Keyboard Language
Click on the icon and choose the appropriate language
from the list.
NOTICE Click APPLY to activate the changes after the
settings are completed.
Macro/Macro Manager
This allows you to create and save numerous series of keystrokes
assigned to customizable G1-G5 keys (A), etc. for gaming
purposes.

Select an existing MACRO.
Type in a MACRO name.
Set the number of repetitions of a chosen
MACRO.

Setting up the G1-G5 keys
• Select one of the G keys in the software.
• To load an existing macro, select it from the field.
• To create a new macro, type in the macro name in the
field and click .
• Click and type in the desired key combination. When
finished, click and then .
NOTICE Click APPLY to activate the Macros after the
settings are completed.
Macro Profiles
It allows you to organize all your custom settings. You can have
up to five profiles saved.
Renaming a Macro profile
• Click on .
• Select a profile and type the new name in the text field next to
PROFILE NAME.
• Click and then .
• Choose the file name and location and then click SAVE.

Loading an existing Macro profile
• Click on .
• Click .
• Choose an existing Macro profile.
• Click OK.
M1-M3 Mode switch keys
M1, 2 and 3 represent 3 different and switchable game modes
for gamers in the software, you can also switch modes directly by
pressing the key M1 or M2 or M3 on the keyboard.
NOTICE Remember to click MACRO first for each game
mode setup.
Profile
Setting up the M1-M3 keys and Profile 1-5
There are 5 profiles under each game mode and able to record
settings of individual lighting effect, sensitivity and macros
assigned to G1-G5

Follow the steps below:
1. Click MACRO then Click M1 and select PROFILE 1.
2. Start to assign macros (G1-G5), lighting effects and sensitivity
under M1/PROFILE 1, same steps for M1/PROFILE 2 and so
on (15 different sets in total).
3. Click APPLY after all settings are completed.
Lighting
It allows you to customize different backlight colors and lighting
effects.
Customizing lighting settings
• Choose the appropriate lighting settings. Click on the colorful
square in the COLOR SELECTION section to create your own
color using the chroma configurator.

Sensitivity
It allows you to customize the polling rate, repeat rate and the
repeat delay.
Polling Rate: Configure the number of times the computer
prompts the keyboard for information. The
default setting is 500 Hz. The possible settings
are 125 Hz/8 ms, 250 Hz/4 ms, 500 Hz/2 ms,
1000 Hz/1 ms.
Repeat
Rate:
Configure the repeat rate speed. Low setting
means that the characters repeat slowly when
the key is held down. High setting shortens the
interval.
Repeat
Delay:
Adjust how long to wait before repeating the
characters when a key is held down. The
possible settings are 1X: 250ms / 2X: 500ms /
4X: 750ms / 8X:1000ms.
Repeat Rate
Test:
Hold down a key to test the speed of repeat
rate and repeat delay.

NOTICE The gaming keyboard performs the best at
1000Hz polling rate. Some USB hubs might
decrease the keyboard polling frequency, so
if you experience slow performance when
connected to a USB hub, plug your Keyboard
directly to the USB port in your computer.

Updating the software
