IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be
included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the
following:
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use any handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons DO NOT immerse
cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• This product is intended for household use only.
• Do not immerse in water.
• A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
• Extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• If an extension cord is used,
- the marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension
cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
- the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top
or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
• To disconnect, press the power button, then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot food,
hot oil, water or other hot liquids.

Intended Use
• This product is intended for brewing single serve K-Cup® capsules.
• This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for
commercialuse.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or
non-compliance with these instructions.
Before First Use
• Check for transport damages.
• Clean the product before first use.
• Place the product on a dry, level and heat-resistant surface.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply
voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on
the product rating label.
• Perform the internal cleaning before using the product for the first time.
DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from
children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g.
suffocation.
NOTICE Always position the brew chamber (C) correctly in place.
• Fill the water tank (B) with cold water to the MAX level indicator. Cover the water
tank (B) with the water tank lid (A).
• Place a large cup on the drip tray (K).
• Plug in the product to the wall outlet.
• Press the POWER button (H) to initiate the priming of the internal boiler.
• After the priming is finished, the POWER button (H) stops flashing.
• Perform the internal cleaning process (see “Internal cleaning”).

Operation
Brewing preparation
NOTICES Use original K-Cup®capsules with the product only.
If using a taller cup, remove the drip tray (K) and the drip
container (L) before placing the cup under the brew spout (D).
Fill the water tank (B) of this product with water only. Do not fill
with other liquids or foods, except when following the specific
instructions in this guide for descaling or cleaning the product.
• Fill the water tank (B) with cold, drinking water to a level anywhere between the
MIN and MAX indicators. Cover the water tank (B) with the water tank lid (A).
• Plug in the product to the wall outlet.
• Press the locking latch release button (J) to open the locking latch (I).
• Slide the brew chamber (C) out.
• Insert a K-Cup® capsule into the brew chamber (C).
• Slide the brew chamber (C) back in.
• Close the locking latch (I) to lock the brew chamber (C) in place.
• Place an appropriate cup on the drip tray (K).
Brewing coffee
NOTICE The water level should be between the MIN and MAX level
indicators.
NOTICE To stop the brewing at any point, press the
selected small cup button (F) or large cup button (G).
• Press the POWER button (H). All the buttons light up.
• Select the brew size by pressing the small cup button (F) or large cup button (G).
The small cup (F) or large cup (G) button starts flashing.
• The brewing is complete when the selected small cup button (F) or
large cup button (G) stops flashing.
• Press the POWER button (H) to switch the product off. All the buttons go off.
• Unplug the product from the wall outlet.
CAUTION Risk of burns! Do not remove the cup from the drip tray (K) before
the brewing is complete. Do not open the locking latch (I) and the
brew chamber (C) for 5 minutes after operation.
NOTICE The product switches off automatically after 5 minutes if there is no
operation.
NOTICE Remove the empty K-Cup® capsule from the brew chamber (C)
aftereach use.

Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug
beforecleaning.
WARNING Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the
electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold
the product under running water.
CAUTION Risk of burns! The product is hot during and after operation.
Allowthe product to cool down before cleaning and maintenance.
CAUTION Risk of injury! There are 2 sharp metal tubes inside the lower part
of the locking latch (I) and the brew spout (D). Do not put fingers
inside the locking latch (I) and the brew spout (D).
NOTICE Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils.
Cleaning the brew chamber (C)
NOTICE Clean the brew chamber (C) weekly.
• Press the locking latch release button (J) to open the locking latch (I).
• Slide the brew chamber (C) out.
• Remove the used K-Cup® capsule.
• Press on the 3 mounting hooks and remove the brew spout (D) from the brew
chamber (C).

Clean the brew spout (C) and the brew chamber (D) with warm, soapy water and rinse.
• Dry the parts after cleaning.

Cleaning the drip container (L) and the drip tray (K)
• Empty the drip container (L) after each use.
• Clean the drip container (L) and the drip tray (K) with warm, soapy water and rinse.
• Dry the parts after cleaning.
Cleaning the product’s housing
• Wipe the product with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Dry the product after cleaning.
Internal cleaning
• Fill the water tank (B) with cold water to the MAX level indicator.
• Cover the water tank (B) with the water tank lid (A).
• Place a large cup on the drip tray (K).
• Plug in the product to the wall outlet.
• Press the large cup button (G) to start the cleaning cycle. The large cup button (G)
starts flashing.
• After the cleaning cycle is finished, the large cup button (G) stops flashing.
CAUTION Risk of burns! Do not remove the cup from the drip tray (K) before
the cleaning is complete. Do not open the locking latch (I) and the
brew chamber (C) for 5 minutes after operation.
Descaling
NOTICE Descale the product after every 3 months of regular use.
• Fill the water tank (B) to the MIN indicator with a 5-15% vinegar solution.
• Place a large cup on the drip tray (K).
• Press the POWER button (H).
• Press the large cup button (G). The large cup button (G) starts flashing.
• When the brew spout (D) starts pouring out the liquid, press the
POWER button (H) again to switch the product off.
• After 30 minutes, perform the internal cleaning process (see “Internal cleaning”)
3 times to remove the vinegar solution residues from the product.
Storage
• Clean and dry all parts before storage.
• Store the product in an upright position in a dry place, away from children.
