Read these instructions carefully and retain
them for future use. If this product is passed to
a third party, then these instructions must be
included.

Grounding Instructions
This appliance must be grounded while in use to protect the operator
from electrical shock. The appliance is equipped with a 3-conductor
cord and a 3-prong grounding-type plug to fit the proper grounding-type
receptacle. The appliance has a plug that looks like sketch A in the figure
below. An adaptor, sketch B, should be used for connecting sketch-A
plugs to two-prong receptacles. The grounding tab which extends
from the adaptor must be connected to a permanent ground such as a
properly grounded outlet box as shown in sketch C using a metal screw.

Before First Use
• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Clean the product before first use. Wash the inside of the appliance
with lukewarm water. Use 1part vinegar to 3parts water solution.
Donot use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry the
appliance thoroughly.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the
power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power
supply details shown on the product rating label.
NOTICE Risk of product damage! Before switching on, place the
product on a level surface and let it stand in an upright position for at
least 24hours. This is to allow the compressor oil to properly settle.
DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials
awayfrom children – these materials are a potential source of danger,
e.g. suffocation.

Operation
Connecting to a power source
1. Connect the cigarette lighter cable (E) to the DCinput(D).
2a. For vehicles: Connect the cigarette lighter cable (E) to a vehicles
cigarette lighter socket.
2b. For socket-outlets:
– Connect the cigarette lighter cable (E) to the power adapter (F).
– Connect the power cable (G) to the power adapter (F).
– Connect the power cable (G) to the socket outlet. The power
indicator on the power adapter (F) lights up green.
NOTICE
After connecting the product to the power source, the
display (K) shortly shows A-01 and the power indicator (J) lights up
orange.

Switching on/off
1. Slide the emergency switch (N) to NORMAL USE position.
2. Switching the product on or off: Press and hold the power button
(H) for 3seconds.
NOTICES
• The product saves the last used settings, even after interruption of
power supply.
• The product switches off and on at intervals to maintain the
temperature. When the compressor is running, the operating indicator
(J) lights up green.
• During normal operation, the display (K) shows the cooling
compartment’s current temperature.
• For best results only store already cooled food/beverages. Select a
place that is protected from a direct sunlight.
Adjust temperature (0 to 50 °F / –18 to +10 °C)
1. Press the settings button SET (I). The cooling temperature flashes.
2. Press the buttons +/– (L) to adjust the cooling temperature.
3. Press the settings button SET (I) 3 times to confirm the setting.
Select temperature unit
1. Press the settings button SET (I) twice. The temperature unit flashes.
2. Press the buttons +/– (L) to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
3. Press settings button SET (I) twice to confirm the setting.
Vehicle battery protection
NOTICE To prevent the vehicle battery from being fully discharged,
the product automatically stops operation when the battery voltage drops
below a preset value.
1. Press the settings button SET (I) 3 times. The set battery mode
LO/NE/HI flashes.
2. Press the buttons +/– (L) to toggle between different battery modes.
3. Press settings button SET (I) to confirm the setting.

NOTICE If the product is powered by 100–240VAC socket outlet
and the power adapter (F) set the battery protection to low mode (LO).
Otherwise the lower voltage of the power adapter can activate the
battery protection and switch off the product. In such a case the error
indicator (O) flashes once every 4seconds.
Opening/closing
1. Opening: Open the lid (A) by pulling the latch.
2. Closing: Carefully close the lid (A) by holding it by the latch. The lid
must be level with the outer housing.
USB charging port
The USB charging port (M) provides 5 V and 500 mA.
1. Carefully take out the rubber cover.
2. Connect the USB device to the USB charging port (M).
3. After use, put the rubber cover back in place.
Emergency mode
In case of a malfunction of the control panel (B), set the emergency
switch (N) to EMERGENCY OVERRIDE position.
NOTICES
• In this mode no settings can be changed.
• The default settings are:
– Cooling temperature: –0.4°F / –18 °C
– Vehicle battery protection: Low
• This mode is not intended for long-term use.

Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock,
unplug the product before cleaning.
WARNING Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not
immerse the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product
under running water.
Defrosting
Frost can be formed in the interior of the cooling compartment of the
product.
Defrosting the cooler prevents the cooling capacity being decreased or
objects being frozen on the inner surfaces of the cooling compartment.
To defrost, follow the below steps:
• Empty the cooling compartment. If necessary, place the foods/
beverages in other refrigerator.
• Remove the frost by wiping it off or melting it naturally by switching
the product off and opening the lid.
NOTICE Never use hard or pointed tools to remove ice or to
loosen frozen objects, as this can damage the inner surfaces of the
compartment.
NOTICE Do not empty the frost or water in the compartment by
turning the cooler over. Wipe the water with an absorbent cloth.
Cleaning
• Empty the cooling compartment. If necessary, place the foods/
beverages in other refrigerator.
• To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Use 1 part
vinegar to 3parts lukewarm water solution.
• For stubborn stains or buildups, use a small amount of white
toothpaste and a soft brush.
• Dry the product after cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Storage
• Store the product in an upright position.
• Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away
from children and pets.
• To prevent odors and mold growth, leave the door open slightly,
blocking it open if necessary.
Cigarette lighter plug fuse replacement
The cigarette lighter plug is equipped with a fuse
rated 15 A. In case the fuse is blown, replace it
with a fuse of the same type.
1. Open the cap of the plug (E) by screwing it
in a anti-clockwise direction.
2. Change the fuse against a fuse with the
same type (15 A).
3. Close the cap of the plug (E).
Plug fuse replacement (for UK only)
1. Use a flat screwdriver to open the plug cover.
2. Remove the fuse and replace with the same type (13 A, BS1362).
Refit the cover.
LED light replacement
The LED lamp contained in this product is non-user replaceable. Contact
a professional repair centre.
Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed
by a professional repair center.
