Please note, however, that plastic or varnish on furniture may damage the rubber
feet of the device Please use a suitable, non-slip and heat resistant support, if
necessary, (the support must not be soft)
Before first use, we recommend boiling up water in a suitable pot 3-4 times to

19
Operation
Operation
Using the appliance
NOTICE!
Attention! Please only use cooking pots that are suitable
for induction cooktops.
WARNING!
Only use cookware (pots, pans, etc.) with level bottoms.
The bottoms must not have any unevenness across their
entire surface. Particularly when heating up oil, it is thus
possible to avoid a potential malfunction of the device
that might lead to risk of damage or injury due to
overheated oil.
Which cookware (pots, pans, etc.) is suitable for this device?
• Steel pots and pans or enameled cast iron
• Iron or steel cookware or non-enameled cast iron cookware
• Cookware manufactured from materials such as stainless steel and
aluminum, if marked as suitable for induction ovens (Please observe
the cookware description)
In order to function correctly, all pots and pans must have a level and magnetic
bottom (a magnet should stick to it) with a diameter of at least 472 inches (12 cm)
The diameter of the pots and pans should not exceed 1024 inches (26 cm)

20
Unsuitable cookware:
• Pots and pans with a bottom diameter of less than 472 inches (12 cm)
• Ceramic and glass cookware
• Stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper cookware unless the cookware has
been expressly marked as suitable for induction ovens
• Cookware with a non-level bottom (eg small feet or a spacer)
• Cookware with a domed bottom
Never touch the hot surfaces with bare hands; use heat-insulated
oven gloves! The device and the accessory parts may be very hot
– risk of burns!
NOTICE!
Never cover the ventilation opening (rear and bottom
of the device) of the device as this may lead to the
device overheating. Keep a sufficient distance to walls
or other objects (min. 3.94 inches (10 cm)).
Make sure you have enough distance to equipment and objects (eg tv, radio, tape
recorder, etc) that are sensitive to magnetic fields
Many food should not be prepared or fried at excessive temperatures
as this might lead to the food not being evenly cooked through or
acrylamides forming in starchy products such as French fries When
heating up larger quantities of oil, it will therefore be necessary to adjust
the device via the temperature levels In this operating mode, you will be
able to specify at which temperature your oil should be heated up and
prevent an excessively high temperature for the preparation of your food
If the desired oil temperature/the desired cooking result is not achieved
with the pot used, it is recommended to use one made from another
material than the initially used pot
