2. Safety Instructions
Do not oppose the unit to humidity.
Before cleaning the unit, remove the receiver; unmount the slot from the camera. Use a
thoroughly wrung out, damp, cloth to clean the outside surface of the V-Mount Slot (do not
use any solvent).
Always make sure when you open the slot, e.g. to change the position of the connector plate,
that no cables are pinched, ripped off, when the slot is reassembled.
Always make sure that no short circuits occur.
Ensure that the power consumption never excel 10A.

4. Getting Started
Before sliding-in the receiver into the V-SLOT, check the position of the screws and the orientation of
the UNISLOT connector, if your receiver is directed right. After sliding-in the receiver, fix it with the
screws of the receiver.
Now, attach the V-Slot to the camera and the battery to the V-Slot with the V-Mount and make sure that
both are locked in place.
The camera, the receiver as well as equipment connected to the power outlet of the slot will now be
powered by the connected battery.

5. Fused Hirose Socket
In addition to the audio outputs from the receiver, the VSLOT offers a looped DC output from the
battery via a standard Hirs 4-pin socket.
This is protected by a self-resetting fuse, current rated 1.85 A, release by 3.7 A / 8.7 s.

6. Easy Modification
The VSLOT features three mounting panels for connectors. One carries the connectors and is by
standard installed at the right side of the VSLOT, because the connector on bottom caused problems
with some cameras.

The bottom panel is split, so the side panel that carries TA5 and Hirose connector can alternatively be
inserted on bottom left, bottom right or on the side –takes only a minute to reconfigure, no soldering
involved.

Additional connectors can be installed on the two remaining free panel (holes need to be drilled).
This way, the item is much more versatile, this is what the users asked for.

Ambient Recording GmbH warrants the Master Lockit ACN-ML against defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of ONE (1) year from date of original retail purchase. This is a non-
transferable warranty that extends only to the original purchaser. Ambient Recording GmbH will repair
or replace the product at its discretion at no charge. Warranty claims due to severe service conditions
will be addressed on an individual basis. THE WARRANTY AND REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE
