This manual will provide you with all the basics on how to
properly use your camera. Please read the safety precautions
fully before enjoying your camera.
Safety Precautions
To avoid injury to yourself and others always be aware of your
surrounding when using your camera.
• This product is for adult use only. Keep out of reach of small
children and supervise children while in use.
• Do not use the camera close to objects such as magnets or
areas with strong radio waves are present. Exposure to such
areas may cause the image to distort or malfunction.
• Do not use the camera areas that exceed the recommended
threshold of 14°F - +131°F (-10°C - +55°C).
• Do not expose the lens to direct sunlight while in use.
• Do not use a microSD card above 128GB. MicroSD cards
below class 10 and not formatted to FAT32 may not be
suitable for this device.
• Do not leave the camera unattended when charging. If the
battery becomes damaged replace the battery immediately.
• Do not leave the camera in wet or poorly insulated areas.

Your new Amcrest AC4K-600 comes with the following

photos/videos up to 98ft (30 meters).

• The ability to record in 4K resolution at 60fps.

• 16-megapixel UltraHD lens which provides a super wide 170°
angle of view.
• Store up to 128GB of video with a microSD card (sold

• H.264 compression for more efficient performance.
• The ability to loop, time lapse, slow motion, and more.
• Connect to a WiFi network to access your camera via the
Amcrest Go app.

Getting Started
Removing the Waterproof Case
1. Hold the case toward you and slide the
release button to the left then push up on
the clamp to release.
2. Remove the camera from the waterproof
case by sliding it out the backdoor hatch.
1. Put the camera into the backdoor hatch and
place the clamp over the hinge on the back of
the case.
2. Push down on the clamp to
secure the backdoor hatch to the
case.

This section provides a brief overview of the physical
features of your camera.
Inserting a MicroSD Card
Insert a properly formatted MicroSD card into the MicroSD card
slot. It is recommended to use a microSD card that is class 10 or
above and does not exceed 128GB.

Charging the Battery
The battery will come preinstalled inside the camera. To
charge the camera use the supplied USB charging cable to
connect the camera to a computer or or USB power
adapter. It takes up to 3 hours for the battery to fully
charge.

Operation Guide
Changing Modes
The camera comes with 2 different easily changable modes;
video and photo. To change modes, press the Mode button
on the front of the camera.
To access mode options, press and hold the OK button for 3
seconds to access the main menu. Then, press OK once on
the Camera menu.
Video Options
The camera features 4 video options:
Record: Press OK to view the live feed and record
video. The default resolution will be 4K @ 60fps.
Slow-Mo: Press OK to record in slow motion video. The
default slow motion setting is 720P @ 8X.
Loop: Press OK to record loop recording. The default
loop will be set to 2 minutes.
Time Lapse: Press OK to record a time lapse recording.
The default lapse interval will be 0.5 seconds.

Photo Options
The camera features 4 photo options:
Photo: Press OK to set the camera into photo mode.
The default photo setting will be 20M.
Auto-Snap: Press OK to set your camera to automati-
cally take pictures at a given interval. The default will
be 3 seconds
Burst: Press OK to set your camera to take a series
of photos. The default frequency will be 3 seconds
per second.
Timer: Press OK to set your camera to take a photo
after a set time period. The default timer will be set
to 3 seconds. Countdown can be adjusted to 20s.
Using Record Mode
1. Press and hold the Mode/OK button on the front of the
camera to turn it on. The camera will automatically be set to
video mode by default.
2. Use the LCD screen to view and press the OK to begin
recording video.
3. To stop a recording, press the OK button again.

Note: The camera will stop recording and save automatically
when the memory capacity is full or the camera has run out
of battery.
Recording Audio
The camera is set to record audio by default along with
video however, audio may be less audible when using the
waterproof case. For best audio quality, the camera will need
to be used without the case. When using the camera without
the case, do not get the camera wet.
Using Slow-Mo Mode
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then
press and hold the OK button to access the main menu.
2. Press the OK button to enter the Camera menu. Use the
arrow button on the side of the camera to highlight
“Slow-Mo” and press OK.
3. Press the OK button to start a slow motion recording.
4. To stop a slow motion recording, press the OK button
again.
Adusting Slow-Mo Resolution.
By default, slow motion resolution may be set to 1080P @ 4x
however, lower resolutions and speeds can be selected.

To change the resolution for your slow motion recording,
press and hold the OK button. Use the down arrow on the
side of the camera to highlight the Settings ( ) icon and
press OK.
Press the OK button to access the “Slow-Mo Rec” menu and
use the up and down arrows on the side of the camera to set
a resolution. Press OK to set a resolution.
To return to the live view screen, press the Mode/Power
button twice to highlight the go back icon and press OK to
exit.
Using Loop Mode
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then
press and hold the OK button to access the main menu.
2. Press the OK button to enter the Camera menu. Use the
down arrow button on the side of the camera to highlight
Loop recording and press OK.
3. Press the OK button to start a loop recording.
4. To stop a loop recording, press the OK button again.
Adjusting a Loop Interval

To change the interval, press and hold the OK button. Use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Settings
( ) icon and press OK.
Press the OK button to access the Loop menu then use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Video
Length menu. Press the OK button
Use the up and down arrows on the side of the camera to
select an interval and press the OK button to confirm.
To return to the live view screen, press the Mode/Power button
twice to highlight the go back icon and press OK to exit.
Using Time Lapse Mode
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then press
and hold the OK button to access the main menu.
2. Press the OK button to enter the Camera menu. Use the
down arrow button on the side of the camera to highlight Time
Lapse and press OK.
3. Press the OK button to start a time lapse recording. The
recording will be in real time on the live view screen but will
playback in a time lapse format.
4. To stop a time lapse recording, press the OK button again.

Adjusting a Time Lapse Interval
By default, the camera will be set to record a time lapse
interval of 0.5 seconds. This can be adjusted to either, 1s, 2s, 5s,
10s, 30s, or 60s from the camera directly.
To change the interval, press and hold the OK button. Use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Settings
( ) icon and press OK.
Press the OK button to access the time lapse menu then use
the down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Rec
Interval menu. Press the OK button.
Use the up and down arrows on the side of the camera to
select an interval and press the OK button to confirm.
To return to the live view screen, press the Mode/Power button
twice to highlight the go back icon and press OK to exit.
Using Auto Snap Mode
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then press
and hold the OK button to access the main menu.
2. Press the OK button to enter the Camera menu. Use the
down arrow button on the side of the camera to highlight the
Auto Snap feature and press OK.

3. Press the OK buitton to automatically take pictures at a set
interval.
Adjusting Auto Photo Intervals
By default, the Auto photo feature will be set to take pictures at
20M with an interval of 3 seconds. This can be adjusted in the
camera as well from 10s, 15s, 20s, and 30s.
To change the interval, press and hold the OK button. Use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Settings
( ) icon and press OK.
Press the OK button to access the Auto Snap menu then use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Photo
Interval menu. Press the OK button.
Use the up and down arrows on the side of the camera to
select an interval and press the OK button to confirm.
To return to the live view screen, press the Mode/Power button
twice to highlight the go back icon and press OK to exit.
Using Burst Mode
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then press
and hold the OK button to access the main menu.

2. Press the OK button to enter the Camera menu. Use the
down arrow button on the side of the camera to highlight the
Burst mode feature and press the OK button.
3. Press the OK button to take a burst photo.
Adjusting Burst Mode Intervals
By default, burst mode will be set to a frequency of 3 photos
per second however, this can be adjusted to 5 or 10 photos.
To change the interval, press and hold the OK button. Use the
down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the Settings
( ) icon and press OK.
Press the OK button to access the Burst mode menu then use
the down arrow on the side of the camera to highlight the
Snapshots menu. Press the OK button.
Use the up and down arrows on the side of the camera to
select an interval and press the OK button to confirm.
To return to the live view screen, use the Mode/Power button to
highlight the go back icon and press OK to exit.

Using Playback Mode
You can view playback of your recordings and photos directly
that were saved onto the microSD card by setting the camera
into playback mode.
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button then press
and hold the OK button to access the main menu.
2. Using the down arrow button on the side of the camera,
highlight the playback icon ( ) and press the OK button.
Navigating the Playback Menu.
Both video recordings and photos can be accessed in the
playback interface. Use the up or down arrows to navigate
through your recordings.
A video icon ( ) will be shown in the upper left corner of the
screen indicating a video is selected. A photo icon ( ) will
be shown if a photo is selected. Press the OK button to view.
Deleting a Recording
To delete a recording, select a recording/photo then press and
hold the OK button. Use the down arrow on the side of the
camera to highlight “Yes” and press the OK button.

Changing Camera Settings
This menu allows you to access general settings related to your
camera. To access the camera settings menu please refer to
the information provided below.
1. Turn the camera on using the Mode/Power button on the
front of the camera. Press and hold the OK button to access
the main menu.
2. Using the down arrow button on the side of the camera,
highlight the settings icon ( ) and press OK.
3. Press the Mode/Power button to highlight the settings menu.
Flip Image: Used to flip the live view 0° or 180°.
Wi-Fi: Used to enable or disable the Wi-Fi of the camera.
Wi-Fi Information: Displays Wi-Fi information related to your
camera.
Reset Wi-Fi: Resets your Wi-Fi information back to default.
Light Source Frequency: Sets light frequency to Auto, 50Hz, or
60Hz.
LED Indicators - Turn the LED indicator on the camera on or
off.
Auto Sleep - Set a screensaver to automatically turn on when
camera is idle.

Auto Power Off - Set the camera to automatically turn off
when idle
Button Volume - Adjusts the button volume of the camera.
Language: Change the language of your camera: English,
Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Russian,
French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese,
Dutch, Thai, Polish.
Time Format - Adjusts displayed time and date format.
Sync Time Manually adjust the current time on your camera.
Set Date: Manually adjust the current date on your camera.
Format: Formatting a microSD card will format the microSD
to a FAT 32 file system and result in the removal of all data
stored on the card.
Device Info: View the model and current firmware version
being used.
Factory Reset: Resets the settings on your camera back to
its original factory settings.
To exit the camera settings menu, press the Mode/Power
button to access the exit menu. Press the OK button to exit.
