CARD DESCRIPTION
Enchant your friends and family with the Digital Slideshow Card. This high-tech holiday
greeting allows you to send anyone a slideshow of your favorite photos in a festive card
that they can display at home or work. Just add your photos!
NOTE: Before you begin, make sure your card is fully charged.
(See Section 2 for instructions on charging your card.)

2. CHARGING YOUR CARD
Beforeyou’llbeabletoprepareandsendyourcard,you’llneedtochargeit.Thiswilltakeabout2
hours.Tocharge,you’llneedyourcardandtheUSBportonyourcomputer.
Followthesestepstochargeyourcard:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.Locatethebuilt-inUSBatthebottomrightcornerofyourcard.
3.UseslidetriggertoexposeUSBandpullgentlytoextend1”cord.
4.ConnectUSBtoUSBportonyourcomputer.
5.Abatteryiconappearsintoprightcornerofcardscreenasitcharges(allow2hourstofullycharge)
6.DisconnectUSBfromcomputerandgentlypushbackintocard.
Whilethecardischarging,you’llseeabatterysymbolappearintheupperrightcornerofthescreen.
Yourcardwillbechargedin2hours;therewillbenootherindicationwhenyourcardisfullycharged.
If your card does not turn on when you open it, the battery may be completely drained. Make
sure to charge it for the full two hours.
3. ADDING YOUR PHOTOS TO YOUR CARD
Inordertoaddphotostoyourcard,makesureit’sconnectedtoyourcomputer.Toconnectit,locate
thebuilt-inUSBatthebottomrightcornerofyourcard.UsetheslidetriggertoexposeUSBandpull
gentlytoextend1”cord.ConnectUSBtoUSBportonyourcomputer.Thenopenthecard.
Yourcomputershoulddetectthecardonceit’sconnected;itmaygiveyouamessagetellingyou
it has found new hardware.
Dependingonyourcomputersettings,thecardsoftwaremayopenautomatically,oryourcomputer
mayaskyouforpermissionbeforeopeningthecardsoftware.Ifneitherofthesethingshappens,you
will have to run the card software yourself.

Adding Photos in Windows:
InthePhotosonComputerwindow,ndthephotosyouwanttoimport.Thephotosintheselected
folderwillappearinthewindowmarkedPhotosonComputer.
Selectaphotoandclicktherotatebuttontorotateanyofthesephotos before you add them to
your card.
Toaddaphototoyourcard,clickonthephotoandpresstheAddtoCardbutton.
Tochangetheorderofyourphotoswithintheslideshow,adjusttheorderinthePhotosonCard
windowbydraganddroppingthephotosinthedesiredorder.

Onceyouhaveloadedyourphotosonthecard,clicktheFinishbuttonandclosethesoftwareon
yourcomputer.YoucannowdisconnecttheUSBcordfromthecomputer.

Adding Photos in Macintosh:
Intheprimarywindow,selectImportPhotos.Browseintheresultingwindowtondthepicturesyou
want,selectthemandclickChoose.Thephotosintheselectedfolderwillappearinthewindow
markedPhotosonComputer.
HelpfulHint:Itisbesttocreateafolderandcopythephotosyouhaveselectedforyourslideshow.
UsetheImportAllfeaturetoloadphotosfromthisfolderasonelargeimport.
Selectaphotoandclicktherotatebuttontorotateanyofthesephotosbefore you add them to
your card.
Toaddaphototoyourcard,clickonthephotoandpresstheAddtoCardbutton.
Besurenottointerruptthesoftwarewhileimageisloading.Waitforthefunctionbuttonstoreturn
tonormal(blackfontreappears)beforeattemptingtoloadadditionalimagesorclosingthesoftware.
Tochangetheorderofyourphotoswithintheslideshow,adjusttheorderinthePhotosonCard
windowbydraganddroppingthephotosinthedesiredorder.

Onceyouhaveloadedyourphotosonthecard,clicktheFinishbuttonandclosethesoftwareon
yourcomputer.YoucannowdisconnecttheUSBcordfromthecomputer.

4. DELETING PHOTOS FROM YOUR CARD
Makesureyourcardispluggedintothecomputer.Oncethecardsoftwareisopen,selectany
photosyouwanttodeletefromthePhotosonCardwindow,andpresstheDELETEbutton.
(Photossavedonyourcomputerwillnotbeaffected.)
5. RESETTING YOUR CARD
Ifyourcardfreezesorisnotfunctioningproperlyyoumayneedtoresetyourcard.Youcanreset
yourcardusingtheResetButton.Thissmallrecessedbuttoncanbefoundonthesideofthecard.
YoucanuseapapercliporapentopresstheResetbutton.
When you reset the card, your images will remain on the card.
6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Card displays partial images Connect card to computer and launch software. Delete partial
imagesfromcard.Reloadeachimage.Besurenottointerruptthe
softwarewhileimageisloading.Waitforthefunctionbuttonsto
returntonormal(blackfontreappears)beforeattemptingtoload
additional images or closing the software.
CardFreezes Locateandgentlypresstheresetbutton.
“Nophotosoncard”message Loadphotosontothecard.
“NoFile”message Loadphotosontothecard.
