Getting Started
Thank you for purchasing the AmpliFi™Router and
Extenders kit. Download and install the AmpliFi app from
the App Store or Google Play™Store.

Hardware Overview
Front
Remove the electrostatic sticker from the front of
the AmpliFi Router.
The front of the AmpliFi Router features a
full‑color touchscreen display.
The bottom of the AmpliFi Router features an
LED with a brightness setting congurable in
the AmpliFi app. By default, the LED is fully lit
when congured and ready for use.

connect 10/100/1000Mbps wired network
devices to the Internet.
Connects to the broadband modem provided
by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Reserved for future use.
The Power Adapter connects to this port.
Bottom
To reset the AmpliFi Router to the factory default settings,
use an object such as a straightened paperclip or pin to
press the Reset hole located on the bottom of the device
for approximately 10seconds until the LED turns o.

Using the App to Install the Router
1 Launch the AmpliFi app and tap Continue.
2 Tap Set Up AmpliFi.

3 iPhone® Users: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled.
Android™Users: Ensure that Wi‑Fi is enabled.
4 Power o your broadband modem.

5 Connect the Ethernet Cable from your broadband
modem to the Internet port on the AmpliFi Router.
6 Connect the Power Adapter to the port labeled with
the power icon on the AmpliFi Router.

7 Connect the Power Adapter to a power outlet.
8 Power on your broadband modem.

9 Select the AmpliFi Router.
10 Enter a wireless SSID (wireless network name) and
a wireless password. Tap Done to nish the settings
and then tap Continue.

11 Router setup is complete. Tap Connect to <Wireless
Network Name>. Android users: proceed to the
section titled Installing the Extenders.
12 Select the wireless network name entered in step 10.
