Holdthe disc bythe edgessothe surfacewill notbe
soiled withfingerprints.Fingerprints,dirtand
scratchescan causeskipping and distortion.

IftheSurface issoiled
Wipe gentlywithasoft, damp(wateronly)cloth.
When wiping discs,always movethe clothfromthe
centerholetowardthe outeredge.
If you wipe the discs using acircularmotion,circular
scratchesarelikelytooccur,whichwill causenoise
whileplaying.
If the disc isbroughtfromcoldtowarmenvironment,
moisturemayformon the disc.
Wipe thismoistureoff withasoft, dry,lint-free cloth
beforeusing the disc.

Besuretoturnthe powerbutton OFF and discon-
nectthe powerplug beforemaintaining the unit.
Wipe thisunitwithadrysoft cloth.
If the surfaceisextremelydirty,wipe clean withacloth
thathasbeen dipped inwaterand then wipe again
withadrycloth.
Neverusealcohol,benzene,thinner,cleaning fluidor

5.SUBTITLE
If the disc hastwoormoresubtitlesrecorded on it, theycan eitherbe displayed or
cleared on the screen.
1.Press “SUBTITLE”during play.It will showasmanysubtitlesasthe disc has.
2.Keep on pressing,selected subtitle(including subtitleoff)will
appearinturn.
3.Stop pressing the button afterthe selected subtitleappears.
Note:Insomecases,the subtitlelanguage isnotchanged immedi
atelytothe selected one.When the selected language isnotworking,
even afterpressing the button severaltimes,itmeansthat
the language isnotavailableon the disc.Thisfunction isonlyfor
DVDdiscs.
4.EJECT
Press “EJECT”toopen the disc tray.PlaceaDisc on the traydish.Holdthe disc with-
outtouching the surface,position itwiththe printed titleside facing up,align itwiththe
guides,and placeitinitsproperposition.
Press “EJECT”tostartplaying.The disc traywill automaticallycloseand startplaying .
If the disc hasone ormoretitlesrecorded on it, the menu screen will appearon the TV
monitor.
Playback control.Press “PBC”(on)toprogramselected chapter.The rootmenu will
appear.Press PBC(off)toplaymovieuninterrupted.

SomeDVDdiscs maycontainscenesthathavebeen filmed simultaneouslyfroma
