1. Introduction
Bluetooth Headset BH10 can be carried as a wireless headset product based
on Bluetooth technology.
What is Bluetooth Technology?
Bluetooth Technology allows the users to communicate data in the wireless
network, which is the wireless network technology can be used in the short-
range distance. It is designed to communicate data/voice within short-range
distance of 10m to 100m.
Bluetooth Technology operates in 2.4GHz ISM(Industrial Scientific
Medical) of RF bandwidth, which can be used in most countries without
any government regulations. Low cost, low power consumption and Robust
data communication are main feature of Bluetooth Technology and
Bluetooth allows Home appliance, Handheld PC/PDA, LAN PSTN, Mobile
Phone to connect to wireless network, such as internet service.
2. What is in the package ?
Our BH10 Bluetooth headset package comes equipped with a headset and
battery charger.

4. Preparation
a) Getting started
Before you start using the headset with a phone or other device for the
first time, you should:

-Charge the headset battery by using a battery charger in the
package..
-Pair the headset with a Bluetooth device, such as, a mobile phone.
b) Charging
The Bluetooth headset is packaged with a built-in rechargeable battery. The
battery may not fully charged when you buy the headset. We recommend
that you charge the battery until the headset indicator light switched off
before using the headset for the first time.
To remind you that you will soon need to recharge the battery, the headset
indicator light flashes red if the headset is on.
It usually takes 2.5 to 3.0 hours to fully recharge the headset battery.
During charging, the indicator shows a steady red light on the indicator
light.
When the battery is fully charged, the red light turns off and no light on the
indicator light.

c) How to wear the headset.
The BH10 Bluetooth headset comes configured for wearing on your right ear,
please follow the instructions as provided :
1. Hold the headset and put the headset into your right ear.
2. Remind you that the headset is positioned as indicated in the
following picture.

5. How to use the Headset
Introduction in this user’s guide are based on the headset buttons and phone
keys.
a) To turn the headset on
Press and hold Talk Button for 2 seconds then the light turns to Green
flashes rapidly, and you hear a short high tone followed by Green flashes.
b) To turn the headset off
Press and hold Talk Button for 2 seconds then the light turns to Red flashes five
times, and you hear a short low tone followed by Red flashes.
c) Pairing the headset
Firstly, you should pair the headset with the device you want to use it with, such
as a mobile phone, before you use your headset for the first time. The
Bluetooth connection between the headset and a mobile phone can be
established by setting up a paired link,
Once you have paired your headset with the phone, you do not need to pair it
again until you want to use it with another phone.
1. Prepare your phone according to the phone’s user documentation on
pairing.
2. Press talk button for up to 5 seconds until Green LED flashes five
times and keep pressing the talk button until the LED indicator
flashes green and red. Then the headset is ready for paring.
3. For access range, it is better to have the headset within 5m (15
feet), or maximum up to 10m from the phone.
4. Please enter Headset passkey(“0000”) then it starts pairing
procedure.
5. For the detail procedures of pairing, please refer to a mobile phone’s
manual.
d) To reset the headset
1. With the headset turned on, press and hold Talk Button for up to 2
seconds and release the button. Then, the headset is turned off.
2. Press and hold Talk Button again until the red and green flashes, and
the headset is now turned on. And then please refer to the procedure
c) mentioned on the above.

e) Making calls
- Making calls from the mobile phone.
1. Place the headset on your ear in the desired wearing style.
2. Dial the phone number by using the phone’s keypad,
3. Press the phone’s SEND / Call key in order to send the calls – the
phone initiates the call.
4. The call will be transferred automatically to the headset by pressing
talk button, while the phone is ringing
- Ending a call from the headset
To end a call when wearing the headset, press the headset’s Talk
Button while connected.
- Reject a call from the headset
To reject a call, press and hold the headset’s Talk Button until you
hear a short beep.
f) Answering calls
1. When the headset rings, press the Talk Button.
2. End the call by pressing the Talk Button.
g) Transferring a call from phone to headset
By pressing Talk button, you can transfer sound /call to the headset if the
headset is on, paired with phone.
(For transferring call from headset to phone, please refer to the user
guide of a mobile phone)
h) Making calls using Voice Dialing
1. Place the headset in your ear in the desired wearing style.
2. On the headset – Press the talk button twice. Then the voice
dialing function is enabled in your headset.
3. You will hear the short tone which asking you to say the name
of the person you wish to call (as entered in your phone’s voice-
dial phonebook directory). Speak the voice ‘tag’ name.
4. The phone automatically dials your selection, and you will see
the details of the call on the phone screen.
5. When connected you are free to communicate normally via the
headset.
6. Press volume up key for dialing the last call.
(Note : Please refer to the phone user guide for instructions on
storing voice tags)
i) To answer a second call.
Please press talk button for answering a second call while you are
on the phone.
j) Adjusting Mic. Volume & Mute
You can regulate the volume to the speaker in steps by adjusting Volume up

+ and volume down – button. One step per key press increases / decreases the
desired volume. A short beep will be heard for each steps of +/-.
For mute function, please press and hold volume down button for 5 seconds
until you hear short beep, and for unlocking ‘mute’, please do the same
procedure as you have done for muting.

Power on : Green Rapid Flashes
Battery full charged : LED switched off
Power off : Red Rapid Flashes
Charging in Process : RED (Charger plugged)
Low Power : RED Rapid Flashes
Pairing mode : Flashes Green & Red
Pairing Succeed : Green LED Flashes
Call / On Call indicator : FLASHES GREEN
7. Trouble Shooting
It will guide you how to solve problems, which you might encounter while you
are using the headset.
1. If you get no sound from headset,
The pairing procedure should be done between the headset and the
mobile phone for recognizing each other.
And they also must be within range of each other, for the outdoor, it
is up to 10m(30 feet), and we recommend to keep the mobile phone
and headset in the same room, or within 5 m(15 feet) from each
devices.
2. If you have no light on the indicator’s LED during charging
When the battery is full charged, no light is shown on LED, then
you are ready for pairing headset for a mobile phone. And no light is
shown when the headset is switched off.
3. If you are uncomfortable with the headset around your ear.
Adjust the length of ear loop properly for your ear, it will make you
feel comfortable for wearing.
4. The headset is automatically turned off.
Please check whether the battery is too low, the indicator light on
the headset flashes red and you hear a low beep.
5. Please make your headset fully charged before you use the headset
at the first time after purchasing.
6. If you are facing other problems, please contact your local
distributors in your area.
