Foreword
Thank you for becoming the owner of Antelope Camera Systems equipment. As a manufacturer
focused on building high-quality, we are dedicated to providing you with a customer service
experience that exceeds your expectations.
Antelope Camera Systems is a German manufacturer of premium quality high speed miniature and
ultraslowmotion cameras. Founded in 2015, but backed by the experience of over 20 years in the
broadcast industry, Antelope Camera Systems‘ pursuit of innovation and its deep technology
expertise pushed the limits of size and frame rates in broadcast camera engineering to new
standards. Coming from a practical background, we understand the need for the ease of use of
broadcast equipment and the importance for its reliability. Antelope Cameras are designed to stand
up to the most rigorous demands on location.
The company was named after the Antelope, the fabulous African deer animal. We feel the Antelope
analogy fits perfectly, because these animals are not only noted for their keen eyesight, beauty and
grace, but their extraordinary speed in running. High speed is also the strength of our cameras
providing speeds of up to 5000 fps. Like the Antelope, being a sentinel and always on guard, our
high speed cameras record permanently into ring buffer and provide, with a push of the post trigger
button, slow-motion live playback. Never miss any special moment again!
All information contained in this Owner’s Manual is accurate at the time of publication. However,
Antelope Camera Systems reserves the right to make changes at any time so that our policy of
continual product improvement can be carried out. This manual applies to all Antelope Camera
Systems equipment and includes descriptions and explanations of optional as well as standard
equipment. As a result, you may encounter material in this manual that is not applicable to your
specific Antelope Camera Systems equipment.
Made in Germany, used worldwide.

Operating Guide10
Antelope Camera Systems
1 Important Safety Instructions
In these safety instructions the word 'apparatus' refers to the Antelope Pico camera, the Antelope
Compact MKII camera, the Colibri Defilcker and the Cobra Link System and an its accessories,
including OCP and RCP.
1. Read and understand these instructions.
2. Keep these instructions.
3. Heed all warnings.
4. Follow all instructions.
5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with a dry cloth.
7. Be careful about the possibility of theft or loss of the unit, and be careful not to leave the unit
unattended. Please note that Antelope Camera Systems does not accept any responsibility for
the compromise, manipulation, and loss of information caused by these events.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has
two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11.Only use attachments/accessories specified by Antelope Camera Systems.
12.Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
13.Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in anyway, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been
spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
14.Condensation occurs when there is a change in temperature or humidity, such as when the
apparatus is taken from outside or a cold room to a warm room. Please be careful, as it may
cause the apparatus to become soiled, moldy, or damaged. When taking the unit to a place
which has a different temperature, if the unit is accustomed to the room temperature of the
destination for about one hour, condensation can be prevented. (When the difference in
temperature is severe, place the unit in a plastic bag or the like, remove air from the bag, and
seal the bag.) When condensation has occurred, remove the battery and/or the AC adapter and
leave the unit like that for about one hour. When the unit becomes accustomed to the
surrounding temperature, fogginess will disappear naturally.
15.Caution regarding laser beams! The camera sensor may suffer damage if struck by a laser
beam. Make sure that laser beams do not strike the lens when shooting in an environment
where laser devices are used.

2 Antelope Pico Camera
2.1 Introduction
The Antelope PICO Extreme Slow Motion + Live Camera System is designed to offer spectacular
extreme slow motion and previously unrevealed details from vantage points where no other camera
has gone before. The Antelope PICO records with up to 525 frames per second in native HD.
The system is based on a 2/3" CMOS 2K image sensor and guarantees high detail and
unsurpassed light sensitivity. The unique deflickering technology (optional) eliminates lighting related
flicker in real-time.
WARNING!!!!!
Do not connect or disconnect the camera head from the CCU when the system is powered.
The product warranty could easily be invalidated if you don't read the manual thoroughly.
