Make the MIS Life Easy Very Low Power Consumption
Imaging there are 40 1U servers in the same rack. We need at least 5 cables
to connect Keyboard, Video, Mouse, LAN and Power Supply for each system.
This means there will be up to 200 cables inside the rack. AOpen remarkable
solution can easily access the keyboard, mouse and video of those 40 systems
(or even more) just through LAN connection. You can reduce the cables from
200 to 80 by AOpen KVM over LAN.
By choosing Fortress 1100, we don't need another nuclear power plant. Most
of the 1U server equipped with a big SPS e.g. 200W ~ 250W. However, in the
IDC/xSP environment, it is very difficult to provide thousands server units in
such high-density space.The outstanding system integration of Fortress 1100
not only control the power consumption in the very low level (100W), but also
give you extra buffer for future CPU/HDD upgrade.
