1. Line level inputs (IN): connect the left and/or right channel line
level audio signals here. The incoming signal is passed through
to connectors 2 (LINK). Connectors: unbalanced RCA. The
incoming audio signal on the IN input will be processed by the
integrated active low pass filter.
2. Line level inputs (LINK): the audio line level signal coming in
on 1 (IN) is passed through to these connectors. Connectors:
unbalanced RCA. The LINK signal will not be processed by the
integrated filter and is a copy of the line in signal presented at
1 (IN)
3. LFE in: low frequency effects input on unbalanced RCA
connector: connect the LFE output of your home cinema system
here: the incoming audio signal on the LFE input will not be
processed by the integrated active low pass filter.
4. Level control: set the level control potentiometer to match the
subwoofer’s output level with the main speakers.
5. Phase switch: set to normal for normal operation. Set to 180°
position when the total bass output of the subwoofer and the
main speakers is less than the output of the main speakers
alone.
6. Crossover frequency potentiometer: set this potentiometer to
set the optimal blend of the subwoofer with the main speakers:
large main speakers will benefit from a low crossover frequency.
Small main speakers may require a higher crossover frequency.
7. Standby/on led: this led is red when the speaker is in standby
mode. When the speaker is operational, the led will become
green. After a few minutes without any signal present at the
inputs, the speaker will automatically switch off to standby
mode.
