Install Guide
Step 1: Mark the position of your UniSlot™ Wallmount Pod
Measure your wall and mark the overall length to the outsides of your Pod. If you are unsure
what the overall length of your display is, refer to Page 9 and speak to your sales consultant.
Find the highest point of the floor with a level, and mark this point on the wall. This will be your
reference point for mounting wall battens in Step 2.
For further advice on installing your
UniSlot™ display, call 1800 111 488
or email [email protected]om.au

Step 2: Mounting timber wall battens
Cut three 66x18mm timber battens to the required length for your Pod display (34mm shorter
than the overall display width).
Starting from the highest floor point identified in Step 1, mount your wall battens level, as
shown in the below diagram. Mount the lowest batten first, ensuring each end is 17mm from
the marked outsides of your display (Step 1). Repeat this with the upper two battens, following
the vertical spacing guide below.

Step 3: Mounting UniSlot™ Wallmount Posts
Mark the positions of the UniSlot™ Wallmount posts along each batten. Refer to the Dimension
Guide (Page 9) supplied by your sales consultant. The outer side of your outer posts must be
flush with the ends of the wall battens. Securely mount the posts to the timber battens.
Ensure the posts are installed level (a UniSlot™ crossbar with a level is a good way of checking).
Bay Widths
Add 1 mm to the bay width. For a
900mm bay, posts should be
mounted at 901mm centres.
Very Helpful Tip
If your floor is uneven, find the highest point using a spirit level and mark
this on the wall (A). Use this point for measuring the mounting location of
the first batten. Mount all posts level, then unwind the glides until they are
touching the floor (B).

Step 4: Installing UniSlot™ Back Panels
If you have purchased UniSlot™ Back Panels, now is the time to attach them to the wall mounted
posts. Ensure you install the panels with the “TOP” sticker on the back of the panel facing upwards.
Tip - If your display contains downlights, it is best to run an extension lead behind the back panels

Step 5: Installing UniSlot™ Pod Wings
Centre wings can be clipped directly onto the posts. Take care to ensure they are fully secured.
If there is a skirting board or other obstruction in your install location, you will need to notch
either the skirting board or a section of the Left and Right Wings before installing. Take care to
ensure all wings are securely attached to the wall mounted posts.

UniSlot™ display, call 1800 111 488

Step 6: Installing UniSlot™ Header Units & Lighting
If you have purchased UniSlot™ Headers, clip these into the posts, as shown below. Take care to
ensure the brackets have securely located onto the posts. If your headers have downlights,
insert the downlights now and connect them to a power board.
Tip: A stepladder is necessary for this step.

Step 8: Installing other UniSlot™ accessories
The last step to installing your UniSlot™ Pod display is installing your accessories – shelves,
hangrails, crossbars, forward-facing arms etc.
Give your display a wipe over with a damp cloth and spray & wipe, to remove any dirt or dust
from the manufacturing process and installation.
