REQUIREMENTS FOR SAFE USE
1) Build Tower on flat surface.
2) For outdoor use, 3/4 plywood is suggested
under tower column and thick wood or metal plates should
be used under leveling pads.
3) All leveling pads must be seated solidly.
4) All hardware must be Grade 5 minimum.
THIS TOWER SHOULD BE ASSEMBLED/ERECTED
BY QUALIFIED RIGGERS.

STEP#1
BASE ASSEMBLY

INSTRUCTIONS
A) Assemble 4 legs to hinged base assembly with (4) 3/8-16 x 3 1/2 grade 5 bolts using
(2) flat washers and (1) nut for each.
B) Assemble a leg brace to each of the legs using a 3/8-16 x 3 1/2 grade 5 bolt and (2)
flat washers and (1) nut for each. Attach 3 of the braces as shown using the t-pins
and leave the brace out on the slide plate side.

WINCH & TOWER ASSEMBLY

INSTRUCTIONS
A) Attach winch using (5) 3/8-16 x 1 1/4 grade 5 bolts using (1) flat washer
and (1) nut for each.
B) Wind the cable onto the winch paying close attention that the cable does not cross
itself.
C) Remove bolts and pivot hinge to attach tower sections.

INSTRUCTIONS
A) Attach the tower sections and the head block using the required grade 5 3/8-16 x 1 1/4 bolts
and (1) flat washer and (1) nut for each.
B) Attach the slide block to the assembled tower.
Note: Check the hole locations on the slide block for the
model truss you are using. Some bolts may have to be
inserted before the slide block is installed on the tower.

INSTRUCTIONS
A) Unwrap the cable and feed it around the head block (remove and replace retaining
pins above the pulleys) and connect to the slide block aligning the thimble between the
angles and inserting the clevis pin.
B) If towers are outside, now is a good time to attach the guy wires. Refer to the
engineering document for number and locations of guy wires.
C) We suggest attaching a rope over the top of the tower, down
the other side and secured at a location you can reach from the
ground. Have 1 person pull the rope while 2 people walk up the
tower to vertical. Disconnect the rope once the tower is secure.

INSTRUCTIONS
A) With tower fully raised, insert the (8) 3/8-16 x 1 1/4 bolts,
washers and nuts to secure hinge section.
Check List
1) Tower should be standing erect and level
2) All outriggers attached to base and 3 outrigger braces
secured to tower.
3) The winch attached to tower.
4) The cable routed thru head block (pins reinstalled
in head block)
5) Cable attached to slide block and slide block located
at bottom of tower.

Each winch on each tower must be cranked in unison to prevent binding.
STEP#6
Raising The Structure

INSTRUCTIONS
A) With structure attached, (minimum of 300 lbs each winch) raise to a height that will
allow the final leg brace to be installed with a (1) 3/8-16 x 3 1/2 grade 5 bolt,
(2) washers and (1) nut. All of the slack should be removed from all of the braces
with the leveling screws.
Note: Each winch must have a MINIMUM of 300 lbs
of load to work properly.

INSTRUCTIONS
A) After your system is at the required height, the safety bar should be set on each
tower. This is accomplished by using the ladder side of the tower to reach the trim
height of the system and tighten the bar as shown. Locate to inside of main chords.
