Ensure that the phone settings are updated and you’ve set the current date

2) Once the file has been sent, the receiver gets

1) Go to www.appsdailyworld.com
2) Download the DailyCopTM application file on to your PC from the Downloads Section

The DailyCopTM icon won’t be visible in your phone menu as it is a hidden application. To open the
application, dial the password #*1234. The DailyCopTM icon will appear in the main menu screen.
Remember, 1234 is the default password given from the company, it is advised you change it from the
settings after completing the registration process.

3) To transfer the file to your phone, connect your
phone to your PC through a data cable
4) Open the Application file to start the installation process
1) Go to http://www.appsdailyworld.com/downloads/DailyCop.sis
1) Insert the memory card in which the DailyCopTM Application
has been pre-loaded
2) Go to File Manager and click on DailyCop.sis file.
The application file will start the installation process

Remote Access of Phone
DailyCopTM has SMS commands which can be used to control the phone remotely when
the phone is stolen or lost to the mobile number who is in possession of your phone. The
mobile number should be the number which is currently loaded in the device. This can
either be your own phone number or the changed SIM number which you would get from
the attack notification to the secondary numbers (Friend Number 1,2,3) you had set in
the DailyCopTM application.

and download the DailyCopTM application file
2) Select Set Application Permissions and click on Download
3) When the View Permissions pop up appears, click on View
4) Select “Allow” for all the options on the screen, press Options and select Save.
The application file will get downloaded

the attack when the phone is accessed in
offline mode
Hide Data: Allows you to hide all the data
(Images, Videos, Sounds)
Delete Emails: Will delete the emails from
handset when in attack mode
Lock Screen & Keypad: Marking this option
will lock the keypad when the device goes into
attack mode. Similarly, the screen will be
locked and will now allow any input
SIM Change Attack: Changing the Sim Card
will put the phone on attack mode and won’t
allow unauthorized users to misuse the phone
and phone’s data. If you are using more than
one SIM, the new SIM should be added in
Whitelist to avoid self attack
Delete Memo: Marking this option will
delete all memo from handset when in attack
mode if selected

To install via Bluetooth

1) Switch on the Bluetooth on of both the sender
phone and the recipient phone
2) File is sent via Bluetooth which directly comes
to the receiver’s Inbox as “2 New Message”
3) When you open the message the application
installation file starts the installation process.

1) Log on to www.appsdailyworld.com
2) Download the DailyCopyTM application file on to your PC from the Downloads Section
3) To transfer the file to your phone, connect your
phone to your PC through a data cable

1) Log on to http://www.appsdailyworld.com/downloads/DailyCopy.jad
Via GPRS
Steps of Installation:
(I) Select the “DailyCopy.jad” File from your Inbox if File is transferred Via Bluetooth.
(II) You will be prompted with the message “Install DailyCopyTM?”
(III) Select “Yes”.
(IV) You will be prompted to choose the Memory location for Installation.
(V) Select “Phone Memory”.
(VI) Once installation is complete, you can find the application icon in the ‘Applications’ or
‘Installations’ list of your phone.
For Nokia Series 60 Mobile:
Application manager options > settings > options > suit settings
• Messaging > set “Always Allowed”
• Read User data > set “Always Allowed”
• Edit user data > set “Always Allowed”
Always select lowest level of security i.e. “Always Allowed” To avoid pop up messages asking “Allow
application to send SMS?” or “Allow application to read/write data?” repeatedly; the option
“Always Allowed” needs to be selected.
For Nokia Series 40 Mobile:
Go to DailyCopyTM application > options > Application access > options > Data access >
• Read User data > set “Always Allowed”
• Add and Edit user data > set “Always Allowed”
Always select lowest level of security i.e. “Always Allowed” To avoid pop up messages asking “Allow
application to send SMS?” or “Allow application to read/write data?” repeatedly; the option
“Always allowed” needs to be selected.
For Sony Erecssion Mobile:
Go to DailyCopyTM application > options or more > Permission > options >
• Read User data > set “Never ask”
• Add and Edit user data > set “Never ask”
To avoid pop up messages asking “Allow application to read User Data/Write User data?”
repeatedly; the option “Never ask” needs to be selected.
In most phones; the settings would be available by selecting the application and
then selecting: This is required for the smooth working of the application on your
phone. Options will be available against each feature.
