SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: Reading and understanding the instructions and warranty disclaimer are
necessary prior to product installation and operation.
• Under NO circumstances s ould anyone enter t e water wit t e electrical equipment plugged in.
• NEVER run t e unit out of t e water. It may damage t e motor seals.
• NEVER lift or drag t e fountain by t e power or lig t cord.
• Suitable for FRESHWATER applications only.
• T e fountain suction screen s ould be inspected for clogging on a mont ly basis. If matted weeds,
leaves, or plastic bags are present, remove t em wit a bristle brus . Failure to keep t e suction screen
clear of blockages will cause low water flow and may cause premature motor failure. This type of failure
is NOT covered under the Aqua Control®, Inc. Manufacturer’s Warranty.
• In freezing conditions, t e fountain must be removed from t e water body and stored in an area
above 32°F.
• Neit er Aqua Control®, Inc. nor its distributors are liable for electrician’s fees incurred for
troubles ooting electrical issues.

NOZZLE BUILD TIPS AND WARNINGS
 All nozzle builds are in Appendix A
 W en building t e Nozzle, it is best to work from inside out to provide room to work.
 Center Nozzle will always be installed last.
I portant Notice on the FUSION Series Multi-Nozzle
Components Carry No Warranty When Assembled Improperly
T is Innovative Multi-Nozzle Casting was designed to offer you t e flexibility to switc spray patterns as
desired. T e screws provided can be inserted multiple times in various locations wit out damaging t e
oles. Extra parts ave been included as spares in t e event t ey are needed.
Nozzles s ould be assembled using even and gradual tig tening. T e screws s ould be tig tened snuggly
using and tools only and opposing sides s ould be tig tened evenly. Over-torqueing t e screws may result
in damages not covered under t e manufacturer’s warranty. Power tools are not allowed.
T e assembled nozzle s ould be andled by t e base. Transporting t e assembly using t e individual tube
assemblies or components may result in damages not covered under warranty. Nozzle components are
warranted for 30 days and solely replaced due to manufacturing defects. All ot er damages caused by
improper andling and/or assembly will require replacement parts purc ased t roug your Aqua Control®
Distributor.
T ere is a separate instruction s eet to use w en installing t e Optional Twister Module. If you experience
difficulty implementing t e build for your preferred spray pattern based upon t e instructions provided,
please contact Aqua Control® Tec nical Support or your local distributor for assistance.
TWISTER MODULE REMINDER
Unlike t e pump itself, t e Twister Module carries a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty against defects.
Due to t e intricate bearing design, t e Twister Module s ould not be continuously submerged. T is also
means t at your Fusion cannot be sunk for the winter onths without first re oving the Module for off-
season storage in a clean, dry, te perature-controlled environ ent. Please do not esitate to contact
Aqua Control® Tec nical Support or your local distributor if you ave any additional questions or concerns.

MOORING ROPE & LIGHT SET INSTALLATION
Step #1
Fasten mooring rope to t e large
oles on two opposing sides of t e
float. Make sure to place t e knot on
t e bottom side of t e float as to not
interfere wit t e lig t bracket.
Step #2
Mount t e lig t bracket to t e float
making sure t at t e power cable is
away from t e float. Place bracket in
t e corner using t e provided
ardware in t e two outer oles as
s own. Bracket will contour over t e
mooring rope.
Step #3
For t e 0.5 p and 1 p unit, plug t e
lig t set cord into t e outlet labeled
Lights in t e control box.
For t e 1.5 p and 2 p unit, place t e
individual wires of t e lig t cable in
t e corresponding lig t set terminal
block.

Step #1
Plug fountain motor cord
& lig t set cord (optional)
into t e control box.
Receptacles in t e control
box are labeled ‘LIGHTS’
& ‘FOUNTAIN’. Do not
reverse the plugs. The
photocell controls the
light receptacle.

Step #2
Set ON/OFF times using
tripper pins. Insert ON
(Green) and OFF (Red)
trippers into dial at desired
times. Turn dial clockwise and
align arrow wit Time- of-Day
(AM or PM) in window.
Step #3
Plug control box cord into
standard 115V ouse old
outlet.
Step #4
Turn on control and test
GFCI (Pus ‘TEST’ button
and t en Pus ‘RESET’).
NOTE: Install control box in an area with nat ral light. Placing the control box in a shaded area
or an area that is lit at night will not allow the photocell to properly operate the light circ it.

1.5HP – 2HP TIMER PROGRAMMING
Step #1
Press and old t e CLOCK button.
Single press t e DAY button until
t e correct day is annotated.
Single press t e HO R button until
t e correct our (AM/PM) is
annotated. Single press MIN until
t e correct minute is annotated.
Once t e time and day is set,
release t e CLOCK button.
Step #2
Single press TIMER and 1 ON will
display. Single press DAY, HO R,
and MIN to set t e day or days you
want t e unit to turn on at a
certain time. Single press TIMER
and 1 OFF will Display. Single press
DAY, HO R, and MIN to set t e
day or days you want t e unit to
turn off at a certain time. Repeat
until desired on/off times are set.
Single press clock to get back to
main screen.
Note: Timer has 8 on/off
times that can be set. If unit is
to be turned on and off the same
time each day, you will only
need to set the on time for
1-ON and off time for 1-OFF.
(Mo = Monday, Tu = Tuesday, We =
Wednesday, T = T ursday, Fr = Friday, Sa =
Saturday,
Su = Sunday); (ON, OFF)

the unit will continue to run

turning unit from ON to A TO,

OFF to A TO, unit will stay off
until next ON time

FUSION SERIES TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
TROUBLE CHECK POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Fusion does not operate
-OR-
Starts t en stops
Not plugged in
Cord must be plugged into a 3-wire outlet
t at is protected by a GFCI or t e supplied
Fusion Control Box.
GFCI Tripped
Reset GFCI. If GFCI will not reset or trips
immediately, unplug t e pump & lig ts and
reset GFCI. If GFCI will still not reset, t ere
may be a problem wit t e Fusion Control
Box or t e incoming power. If t e GFCI
resets, plug t e pump in t e Fusion Control
Box. If t e GFCI trips, t ere may be a
problem wit t e pump cord. If t e GFCI
olds, plug in t e optional lig t kit. If t e
GFCI trips, t ere may be a problem wit t e
lig ts.
Contact Aqua Control® Tec nical Support to
troubles oot lig ts or pump
GFCI not tripped,
not running.
Disconnect power. C eck propeller for
obstruction. T ese motors ave internal
overloads. If t e propeller is jammed, t e
internal overload may trip. T is overload
may require up to 10 minutes to cool
down & reset. If t e motor
does not restart, t ere may be ot er
motor problems. Contact Aqua Control®
Tec nical Support to troubles oot t e
pump.
Fusion spray pattern is not
reac ing full size
Fusion intake clogged
Disconnect power. C eck suction screen for
obstruction & remove debris.
Nozzle clogged
Disconnect power. Remove nozzle &
c eck for obstruction & remove debris.
